Very nice sitting outside with surrounding traditional architecture. Great service (staff is very nice and speaks English and German also, so no problem for foreigners with zero knowledge of Hungarian). Food was delicious! The portions were huge (you get the soup in a whole pot - I’ve never experienced that before, amazing :)). Although, we were expecting some more “traditional Hungarian dishes” like goulash soup, duck or beef meat - so we were a bit dissapointed with limited menu (pork and chicken mostly). Overall great experience! Soproni beer is my new fave!

If you’re looking for a special traditional Hungarian catfish soup , this is the right place. Nice friendly atmosphere, delicious price, fair prices. Köszönöm szépen 🙏🏻

Lovely medieval typical Hungarian restaurant designed like a cellar still upholdimg traditional Hungarian culture. Located in the heart of Debrecen. The meals were served in Hungarian style, starting with the traditional goulash soup and then the main meal and some wine. While at it we got entertained by live Hungarian music played from a cello and a violin by highly motivated artists. I enjoyed the evening with my husband courtesy of our special Hungarian friend. I recommend this place.

Such a scam experienced! Not being fluent in those thousands of forints, we got scammed on an undesired, but apparently mandatory service fee (tip?). See the bill in the photo! It was suppossed to be a 35€ bill but we were not informed and forced to pay additional 4,50€ as a service fee. Disgusting! Be aware of their scamming bills!

The traditional Cigánypecsenye was delicious, my friend said the flavor exploded in his mouth. The chicken meals were very tasty as well, not dry at all. This restaurant serves many traditional dishes. The young waiter speaks perfectly English but they also have an English card. It was very quiet when we were there but I can think it's usually pretty full. My friend always kept an eye on the cute waitress.

Wonderfull bean-gulash, great beef stew (gulash) and very nice and helpful service! I highly recommend!
