The Reinvention of Birmingham, Alabama

"Regions Field is an adjoining stadium to Railroad Park, built with a $64 million investment. It relocated the Double-A Birmingham Barons from the suburbs back to downtown."

I was the event Planner for an annual corporate event here in the Pearl River Lounge early Dec 2024. It created a beautiful back drop for the festive evening. Catering was decent by their mandatory in house chefs. They were very accommodating for the things I required as an event business. Had an issue with the fruit flies on garbage and food on the buffet. The fact that we were not being given priority for certain things like parking, loading dollies and the designated elevator usage upon arrival and after made things a bit more difficult because there was a bigger event in the ball room that took precedence. I don’t know that we will choose this space again for this type of event.

Great ballpark with good tradition and atmosphere. Great family venue for a game of baseball. Wide choice of good food and beverage for the game. Fantastic link up with UAB Children Hospital to offer kids their fun and attention. Excellent firework at the end of Saturday's ball game. (Close to full 7 mins!!)

First visit in 3 years. Not what it was In The past. Concessions not as good. Prices about the same. Lady in the concession told them not to fill popcorn bags up. Only half. Got charge full price, not half. Park mostly clean. Restrooms 3out of 5. Seat poorly designed and the stupid shipt bracket for you drink get your beer covered by people in front of you. Baseball great. Fireworks great.

Great facility with Very Nice view of City. Highlight was waving flashlight on cell phone toward the Children's Hospital Patients & Staff a few blocks away. They were waving back with their flashlights! Such a touching moment.

Best field trip ever!! The park itself is massive with more than five concessions stands, multiple other eateries, four grassy areas for sitting on a towel or in a chair, not to mention the massive amount of stadium seating offered. This facility is completely handicap accessible to include the bathrooms which for a public baseball field were extremely clean. I went with Warrior Elementary a school in Jefferson County on a field trip there and was not disappointed. We watched the Birmingham Barons play the Tennessee Smokies and it was an excellent and exciting game.

Really nice baseball field in Birmingham. Parking is horrible, just try to find something as close as possible for $15. Great way to spend time with friends and family. Also, a nice date idea.

The field itself is nice and the views are good, but as with most entertainment district’s food pricing: highway robbery. $4.25 for bottled water, $14 for a hotdog meal. Going to see a game is a good time, but it’s not very feasible to go and feed a family for a fun dinner night out on a budget. I don’t even have kids yet and this stands out to me. Other than that, go out and support the Birmingham Barons!! It’s fun to support the community minor league team.

I've been coming here since they moved from hoover. It's pretty much a social hangout. Beautiful field great design overlooking birmingham skyline. Great place to just relax. There are two good breweries close by, also railroad park. Nice place for families to visit in bham. The Friday night fireworks are always great.
