"Articles director Lale Arikoglu has used this duffel on safari in Kenya and a hiking trip through Chilean Patagonia. She likes that she's able to pack a lot in but still wear it as a backpack thanks to adjustable straps. “It's perfect for outdoorsy itineraries, and the ideal size for small plane requirements, which I had to navigate on both trips. Plus, it's soft-sided, which makes it easy to squeeze into the overhead bin on a crowded flight, and folds up into nothing when not in use.”"

Super helpful employees here! I came in to potentially pick out a bike, and the bike shop team spent well over an hour letting me test-ride a few bikes and showing me modifications they could do to fit my needs. I ended up leaving without a bike, but online ordered the exact setup I settled on in-store. Great experience and I didn't feel pressured to buy anything throughout my time there.

Went in a week before Independence day. I saw no American flag decor but instead a gigantic sex-flag (highly inappropriate for children!) adorned their front wall on the inside, with a politically-charged sign at their front entrance saying that those who do not share their company's political ideology are not welcome in their store. Duly noted, REI. The other massive downsides to this store - aside from their offensive political propaganda - is the extremely high pricing of their merchandise versus other similar stores. They also do not give you any bags for your item at checkout. This is Florida, not Colorado. It's bad customer service, for that reason alone! For the above mentioned reasons, I intend to never come back to this store again

I brought my daughter in to try on Rick climbing shoes. One employee quickly stepped in to point us in the right direction. She introduced us to Michelle, a veteran rock climber. Michelle was amazing. Kind, patient, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The person who checked us out was also very kind. What a wonderful shopping experience.

Greeted as soon as I walked in, Alice was very courteous and offered to help me find some things. She presented the membership clearly, and not in a pushy manner, even checked the back for an out of stock item. I worked in retail many years, she's exemplary.

If you are looking for any type of outdoor gear, then REI is the place for you. They carry everything from clothing, canoes, bikes, shoes, camping gear, you name it they probably have it. I go here all the time even if I don’t need anything just because I love looking at all the items they have. The staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely check this place out!

Google
Went on for some shoes and the knowledge the store associates have about their products was unbelievable helpful. It was a major expense but when I left the store I felt confident that I had the right shoe. It was my first time shopping there and it left a great impression on me.

Went there to check out hiking shoes for a planned through hike. Don was very patient, knowledgeable, and helpful. Felt like I was at a small outfitter vs other big outdoor stores

I stop by every couple of months to see what's new. The store has a great feel. And the service is super! I like the REI brand gear best!

Andre G.

Yelp
We love REI and can't get enough of the good values they offer for their free membership. Don't forget to sign up! For instance, we got two $20 off $50 coupons this month alone. I was finally able to get the Offos I had been looking for, and trying them on in the store for the first time was a game changer. They are so comfortable! I also have purchased quite a few hats, clothing, and other shoes there, which have all been high quality. They sell good camping and hiking gear too. The employees always seem cheery when we visit. And if you can't find something in your size, they can order it for you or help you with an online selection. The St Johns Town Center helps with a centralized spot for convenience, and it is on the end with enough self parking to accommodate visitors. Make sure you stop by soon!

Yelp
I seem to come here a lot. And by a lot, I mean some of the staff remember conversations they had with me about my next adventure. The store is laid out well. The staff are friendly and passionate about the outdoors.

Jamie W.

Yelp
I love just browsing through this store. It is full of great outdoors items, and puts you in the mood for biking, camping, hiking, water sports - you name it. The best part of this store is the staff. They are helpful, friendly, and willing to find your answers if they don't have them. I was looking for a contraption to hold my phone on my bike. I was trying to figure out how one worked, when a great employee came up and asked me if she could make a recommendation. - But of course! She said although the one I had in my hand would work, she, and several other bikers she knew, preferred another they had. She then proceeded to go get it, and attach it to a bike to show me how it worked and the options of placement. That is customer service at its finest! I love that many of their items, including clothing, are made from recyclable products. I try to do my best to honor our earth, and this makes you feel good about your purchases.

Yelp
There's a first time for everything and today was my first time going into a Rei store! I guess I haven't had a reason, but today I did because they have what I can't seem to find at many stores. What you may ask? Cold weather gear!!! Forget the fact that we live in Florida, I thought all stores that regularly carry cold weather gear this time of year, still carried cold weather gear during certain times of the year no matter where the store is located...wrong! But you can count on the folks at Rei to have what you need that is for sure. Plus, the employees helped us out with trying to find the perfect snow pants and socks...and sock liners for the extreme climate we are traveling to soon. We appreciated the help! We left having to order some things online, but we still made a few purchases and are quite happy. Not to mention I had to check out the entire store! I was starting to get a little concerned about not being able to find the proper attire. Whew! So, if you're wondering where you can get cold weather gear...it's here! Other than our needs for cold weather gear, there is a plethora of different sports gear and other outdoor gear here. If you need it, I'm sure they have it or can get it! Everything seems to be of great quality too. The only downside is it's a little pricey. This Rei store is located in St Johns Town Center, so there is plenty of parking; however, there are also plenty of other stores around. Therefore, you may have to walk a little if the parking lots in front or to the sides are full. Moreover, it's not a very friendly driving area. In any case, there are public restrooms inside, just in case you spend way too much time in the store.

Andrew S.

Yelp
Service is okay and value is about average. Store associates are somewhat friendly. Would I return? Not so sure.

Kate C.

Yelp
Did you know this place was a co-op? I didn't! Wandered in here today to find shoes that would be: 1. Comfortable for lots of walking 2. Waterproof (hello summers in the pnw and rainy days at Disney) And most importantly... 3. Cute enough to want to wear when it's NOT raining! The sales associate helped me find shoes that fit the bill and pulled many amazing, cute, waterproof sneaks and sandals for me to have a go at. Ultimately I settled on a pair of Salomons that I'm now IN LOVE with, so thankful to her for helping me find them! If you need any sort of weather-safe active shoes, this is definitely the place to go! I would give it 5 stars but I'm knocking off one for it being so darn expensive.

Peggy G.

Yelp
The REI return process is terrible. I returned two items on May 22, today is the evening of May 27 and I still don't have the credit showing up on my credit card. Yes, they say to give 7-10 days. But WHY? All of this is electronic now, there is no good reason for it. I will never buy through REI online again. And only in store if I am 110% positive that I plan to keep an item. Paying cash would solve the problem too.

Olivia P.

Yelp
I typically love REI, never have had a problem with them. Today though, my experience was different. I went in to return a pair of climbing shoes that have been worn 4 times tops for only 5-10 minutes each time to see if they were the right fit for me. I have had a lot going on lately and have been putting off returning them, but when i finally go in to return them (I am a holder of the paid membership where you can return or exchange for a year) I am treated poorly. The guy helping me find the right shoe was very nice, there was a shoe I liked that they did not have stock in my size of and I wanted to order it to try it on. When I go to checkout and explain this to one of the store managers, she completely shuts me down and tells me she is going to discount my previous shoes for damage. I really wouldn't have minded that if they weren't still basically brand new! Regardless of that, she did nothing to help me order the shoe I actually wanted, and when i checked out with one of the shoes they did have I was trying to ask her for advice on how to find my size with the other one that was solely online and she just said "Goodbye" and pushed my shoe box towards me. Very rude, I've never had this type of experience at any REI. Maybe she was just having a bad day, but so unfortunate she had to take it out on me.

Yelp
I came here after a bad experience with Bike Direct down the road, and I'm sure glad I did! I usually come here for like camping things, coolers, and Yeti ramblers and have no issue. But this time I wanted to inquire on a bike repair on a new bike purchased outside of REI. They took care of me! Give my man, Blake, a raise! Not only did he fixed the flat. He also did some cable management that the original stores messed up. He fixed the breaks. He also explained the issue I had with the gears and fixed as best he could! (Which he took the time to put it on the rack and physically showed me). He also fixed what the original store did wrong during the building of the bike. The fork and brakes were installed backwards. Smh. But he fixed that too! Now my relative is ecstatic with her bike! After he fixed the bike, I stuck around and talked bikes with him, as I expressed that I have a relative trying to get me on cycling/riding. And that my relative just bough a Cannondale (which REI sells!) and that I'm somewhat on the market for one or a Trek. He gave me so much info, and educated me, on the differences between both, what to look for if I buy a used/new bike. You can tell he was was very passionate! He talked about the different components of the bike (rim breaks and disc brakes, along with other components like different gear mechanisms) and what to look for if it's a solid or faulty bike. Ultimately his knowledge and his overall kindness led me to buy a new 'toy'. I might come back to him to get the wife one if she decides Cannondale. Thanks again for everything Blake!

Yelp
This is not my first visit to a REI but this was my first to this location. I drove from Orlando to this location to attend a map and compass class that I've been wanting to take. My local REI already had the class but I unfortunately missed it. So I thought I'd make a day trip north for it and I'm so glad I did! First off the store is laid our very well. Any outdoorsy person like myself would think it was just so darn beautiful. Mens and womens wear to the left, backpacks to the right, cycles straight ahead. Boots, shoes, cold weather gear, summer gear, camping, hiking, just about anything you'd need for adventure. This place has quality gear and knowledgeable staff ready to help. I was a bit early for my class so of course I took advantage of browsing and checking out all the sale items. A few times a year REI will send out 20% off coupons to their REI members. If you're not a member and you shop for this kinda of stuff, you really should join. It's cheap and you earn your money back in dividends from your full priced purchases in a year. You also have 365 days to return anything that you absolutely do not love. I walked into class a few minutes early, signed in and was excited to see and meet the handful of other people just as excited to take the class. The instructors explained how to use your compass and read the topo parts of the maps. I won't go in depth here but they sure did. It really was a fun class with a great wealth of information. The class and interaction with other like-minded people in class made the drive worth it. I'd definitely make the drive and make the day of it again.

Yelp
Quality gear and knowledgeable staff- this is my best friends favorite store! We are both avid campers, hikers and she backpacks much more than me! When she introduced me to REI a couple years ago- I was hooked! This one is so close to my house and I have a wish list and arms length long! Every time my friend visits- we must pop in! This time, I dragged my daughter in~ my family were all avid scouters and my daughter did a backpacking trek of 103 miles at a high adventure camp called Philmont and guess where we bought her backpack? Yup- REI! And boots, and a bunch of lightweight gear! I don't visit often, because I already have a ton of gear! But Every few months I buy something off my list! Love love love this store here at town center!

Yelp
John was so attentive and informative,he treated us like we were friends from the minute we stepped into the store. He helped us pick out some shoes and we got the best model for us with John's help. He was so informative and knew so much about the products! It was our first visit into REI and we will definitely be returning!

Stephanie J.

Yelp
Every time we come here we get the best service you could ask for in retail. They offer suggestions regarding any questions you may have about products. The co-op membership is awesome, I absolutely love having a full year to return something I purchase. This place is great, the selection and quality of products available is top notch

Bonnie J.

Yelp
I love this Rei, they have such a great selection of everything. We bought a bike today and Charlotte helped us find the perfect bike. She was so helpful and friendly with all things bikes. Helped us find the right basket and accessories. Really enjoyed our experience.

Mariah C.

Yelp
Was doing fine until the cnt at the front came up and gave us her input that wasn't needed. She was loud and we had felt that we was belittling us. I'd recommend that she should maybe not interact with people out in the front if she's going to give people that sick feeling in their stomach from her pretentious granola eating ass. Totally turned us off from buying anything in the store and I heard her talking about us as we were leaving. Wish I could've gotten her name so I could put it in this review. She had short hair and was wearing a pink hat.

Sal M.

Yelp
Bike shop service was awesome. Logan and the bike mechanic treated me right. Suggesting exactly what was needed for the bike and nothing more. Very knowledgeable crew and genuinely wanting to help. This is where I am bringing my MTB for service going fwd. Thanks for taking care of it.

Tom M.

Yelp
I decided to hike the Appalachian trail for the first time in my life! I didn't know where to start. I visited REI - they suggested I set up an appointment for an outfitting. The associate was so very helpful. He had hiked the entire trail and was able to steer me in the right direction for a backpack, bed roll, tent vs hammock, kitchen and proper clothing. I felt totally prepared and enjoyed my hike in part due to the great outfitting!!!

Robbie C.

Yelp
Love this store! Has everything you need for your camping and outdoor adventures. Workers are laid back cool people and very knowledgeable about their products. It is pricier than some gear you can get online but the quality and service are unmatched.

Kirk T.

Yelp
Dropped into the REI store in Town Center mall the other day. My wife was over at the Ulta store and I thought it would be nice to browse around. What a great store. They have everything that the outdoors person could want. High-quality stuff. It was a bit pricey, but the selection was really good. I don't think there's any place you can find as many socks as they have at this place. Their shoe selection was excellent. If you are into the outdoor life this is a really good place to go.

Ernesto D.

Yelp
Great Staff. Everyone's on point. Very informative on equipment. Staff member named Greg is a gem. Shared stories of a pilgrimage called Camino de Santiago. A rare find. Will be a regular here.

Urban M.

Yelp
I had always heard of REI but was never able to make it into one until now. Amazing store! Everything you can think of involving the outdoors. One of my favorites things was their book selection and trail maps. I had also been researching the Oru foldable kayak, and got to see one of those in person too! Staff was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Spent an hour in there just checking everything out, and I am now a lifetime member(only $20). Highly recommend!

Alexis F.

Yelp
Although it is pricier to shop for outgoor gear here, the quality is worth the dollar. Plus, you receive great customer service and the answers to any questions you might have before making a big purchase. Sometimes there are great sales, so check out the sale or clearance racks for a great deal. They have everything you could think of, and there are sections for women, men, and children. If you are wanting to meet people or learn something new, make sure to check out one of their classes or community events. There is something for everyone!

Ashley B.

Yelp
REI is the best store at the town center. The staff is beyond knowledgeable. They sell everything from bikes, to kayaks, hiking boots, clothing, tents.. you name it they have it. The return/exchange policy is great at the store. One year guaranteed satisfaction.

Alexander L.

Yelp
Easy in and out. Bike shop staff knew their stuff and worked to accommodate my urgent repair.

Janice H.

Yelp
We asked an employee if we can bring our dog inside her travel bag, locked and they said it was fine. I was inside the store about half hour. The manager kicked me out saying it wasn't allowed. There was another person with a puppy also buying and he was kicked out. They should train all the employees about the companies policies. Well guess what!? I left, left the cart full of the stuff I did not bought, and I am not planning to come back to get them. Your company should learn about all Vermont Outdoor stores which are pet friendly, people go to outdoor adventures with their dogs. Maybe you will get more business.

Katrina M.

Yelp
Alice helped us choose cycling shoes and even installed our look delta cleats. She was so knowledgeable and was a pleasure to speak with. We never really come into REI and always buy stuff online. But, because of her customer service we bought the REI co-op.

Elysia C.

Yelp
Very nice somewhat small REI! I went in looking for a hiking pack for my daughter. The REI in TN where I've bought most of my hiking gear is much larger with what seems like more pack options. Not a big deal for me as I knew (pretty much) what I wanted. Within minutes I had the pleasure of chatting with a youngish sales associate who gave me insight on what my college age child might want and need (I've never really cared about pack color but thanks to this gem I think I'm more knowledgeable now). Checkout was a breeze. If you are a regular REI shopper or just love the outdoors, make sure to become a member. You get discounts and dividends back on your purchases every year. Last year I was able to buy several items with my dividend $.

Eric Q.

Yelp
You can save hundreds here and it's facilitated by the staff. Do like I did.... Walk into store with intention to buy a couple of new headlamps and a jacket for the cold weather that you didn't pack for. Look for the curly headed guy in bikes and ask him about bike racks. He will seemingly be interested and help you out to the point that you are even impressed. Now here comes the money saving technique: Say to said curly headed guy "My 10 year old has Christmas money and wants to buy this for himself so I just wanted to check before bringing him in" Curly headed guy says "All of this is on sale, you should get it". Repeat "I think he'll enjoy getting it and I'll show him how to install it" Now while you bask in the idea of value and accomplishment being instilled in your child you can also marvel at the military precision (Naval Officer here) that curly headed guy exhibits as he does an abrupt about face and walks all the way back to the back of the store to help someone else. No goodbye...no take care. You would have thought I told him I already had an REI membership. BTW: I looked at those headlamps anyway and they are phenomenal ...and cheaper on amazon without the attitude. I left without spending a dime. WIN!

Eric And Tarah C.

Yelp
Clean, easy to get around and very organized. This REI store was like the other locations we've been too. It is pricy but it's good quality.

Charles A.

Yelp
Great place to go find sports related and camping related clothing and equipment. They run great sales and you need to become an REI member to get even more benefits. The employees are very knowledgeable and answered many of my questions. They anticipated my needs and were concerned with my comfort and safety considering I was going to the Appalachian Trail. They gave me Great advice and I know it helped me with my hike. I found the products that they sold to be high-quality.

Ryan H.

Yelp
Took me awhile to finally check this place out, but it's pretty awesome. This store is for any outdoor enthusiast. Clean, organized, and the staff is really helpful. Excellent store and glad to have one in town and nearby.

Jerry T.

Yelp
I was excited to find out Jacksonville has an REI. I was even more excited when I saw the size. This place is huge by REI standards! If you are unfamiliar with the brand, it's an outdoor mega-store based on the west coast that has been expanding all over the US. You can purchase a lifetime membership for a really low price ($20 I believe), which will allow you to receive a dividend check annually equal to 10% of your regular priced purchases. This is pretty sweet if you purchase something big. They are primarily a retail store. They sell anything and everything outdoorsy for camping, cycling, running, hiking and paddling. Basically they sell outfits and equipment for any situation you could imagine yourself doing awesome things outside. The pricing might come in a little higher than other stores or online. You are basically paying MSRP here. However, if you ever have something break (which happens a lot with outdoor gear) the customer service is awesome and they are always extremely accommodating with exchanges even if the break was your fault. They also have classes and plan trips for people of all skill levels and with any interest in outdoor sports. This location is along the back side of St. Johns Town Center, and parking is pretty bad everywhere here. If you come on the weekend expect to drive around, but don't give up. It's worth stopping by.

Athena C.

Yelp
Desperately searching at the last minute for appropriate camping supplies I decided to peruse REI for the ultimate camping gear at reasonable prices. Unfortunately, reasonable prices are hard to come by for good gear that will suit my son's needs. We checked out their hiking boots, hiking backpacks and mess kits. I also looked at their sports gear to see what I could get for myself at a steal. The gentleman who helped us was extremely informative and patient. My son as excitable as he normally is made it hard for me to talk about what we were looking for but the salesperson listened to both our needs. He wanted cool colored hiking backpack that could hold lots of water. I needed good pricing so I wasn't spending all my money. He found us a great hiking bag for only $60 that would grow with him. This is music to my ears because the last thing I need is for him to grow right out of it. He also directed us to the mess kits and the hiking boots. There was some good deals on clearance for the boots. And I found some good prices on a bowl and some utensils for him. The aisles were easy to navigate, everything was neatly stocked and prices were clearly visible so you could see whether you were getting a good deal or not. Check out was quick and easy. They offer you an application for a rewards card that costs a fair amount a month, or yearly (?) That will help you earn money or rewards to use in store. I opted against it, of course. I love how big the store is and look forward to my next trip there. Hopefully, this time it will be for hiking boots and some running gear for me... and maybe it will be on sale!

J S.

Yelp
Went in REI to get my dog some gear, they have great dog products, but I guess they do not allow Dogs in the store:( makes no sense? Outdoor store and no dogs allowed?? I will never shop there again. Goodby REI

Cj W.

Yelp
Ve knowledgeable and helpful staff. Who doesn't love REI! Getting ready to train for the el Camino in Spain. The staff was experienced and able to fit me with hiking boots and socks. After two months, still no blisters! Great job! Thanks REI!

Southern C.

Yelp
EXTREMELY poor customer service...I'm standing where I have been for about 35 minutes now after asking a service member a question. She paged out to an "expert" that would be right with me. I count 1, 2, 3, 4 sales associate behind the counter chatting away while I waited and waited.... Oh, the "expert" associate just walked by me with another customer. I'm thinking not a dime is leaving my pocket here today and this experience will be passed on to those I know and care about.

Daisy D.

Yelp
I've been in here a couple of times. First time was when we were shopping for bikes. Can't say the prices were too high, but they were definitely higher than we were looking to spend. If I ever do plan that (far in the) future camping trip, this is definitely where I would be stopping to get set up. Tents, walking/hiking shoes, sleeping bags, kayaks, a menu of freeze dried food for every palate. And this isn't the same freeze dried ice cream we all bought at Kennedy Space Center, this stuff looks legit. My husband joined the lifetime loyalty club when he lived in CA and we were happy to find he was still in the system so we were able to resurrect it here. One day I do plan to go stand up paddle boarding. And if I get really into it, I might try to find one here. I know they're probably only models, but if I could buy one of the 'baby' tents for my cat, I totally would!

Robert H.

Yelp
Just left REI. I love the store and I am usually good with the staff. However this time I was shopping for backpacks just browsing and in the REI staff member was helping someone else and they literally pushed me out of the way to look at the same packs I was looking at. It was very rude. I still love REI but you need to pay attention to all your customers not just the ones that you're currently helping

Craig D.

Yelp
Customer loyalty is a two way street, REI refused to honor it's warranty policy so I use the store for information and sizing of products and then I order those products online from the lowest priced vendor. REI is rarely the lowest priced vendor. You can beat their prices by 20% pretty regularly. I used to be a loyal customer but not anymore............

Gregory N.

Yelp
Great store for all your active outdoor lifestyle needs. I'm already a cyclist, but the place inspires one to take up kayaking, camping, hiking and any number of pursuits in the great outdoors. As far as cycling, they carry their own low price, but not lacking in quality, in house brand Novaro. Apparel, accessories and even bikes are on the racks. You can pick up a Novaro carbon road bike with Shimano 105 components for around $1K. Not too shabby.

William J. I.

Yelp
I am really happy with this store, particularly their bicycle repair shop. I recently had some extensive modifications done to my Cannondale touring bicycle. Blake did the work, and he spent a lot of time working with me and giving some sound advice as to the modifications I should make. He also did quite a bit of research online for the parts. The bike came out beautifully. I am so happy with it. Everything works great.

Jem P.

Yelp
Ok I love REI..lets just get that out of the way! It's one of my all time favorite stores because they have quality gear & experienced employees(for the most part) that will get you what you need for your particular situation. Luckily most people are true outdoorsman/backpackers that work there so you're in pretty good hands. It's not like a Bass Pro Shop or Dicks in which most people are just there for the paycheck! They have everything in terms of biking, camping, hiking, kayaking etc etc! My first real backpacking trip was a solo one last year(early 2015) in the Smokies! I did about 60 miles over 4 days and the pack(REI Crestrail 70L) held up great! Fully loaded it was 45lbs from the start and the only issue I had was some squeaking! Easy fix though with some strap adjustments!! I've since been on many trips on the Florida Trail,Appalachian Trail,Benton McKaye etc! All 60+ mile trips and the pack has held up great! I've actually put more miles training for trips on the pack then I've done hiking with it lol! Most of my gear came from REI and all my original stuff has held up great(tent, sleeping bag, waterproof stuff sacks etc)! I believe the guy I always deal with is Rich but don't quote me on that lol! He's a true outdoorsman and when it comes to anything hiking/camping he knows it all! I'll find out his name for sure and change it if it is different but either way it depends on what your needs are! Also the more money you spend with them in a year the more money you get the following year(Dividend)! It's a percentage of your total and essentially free money! You have 3 yrs to spend it and just as an example I got $185 back since I literally had no gear before I started last year! Membership is a one time fee of $20 and then you're set! As I earned some extra cash flow,I did my research and then drove on up to get what I could! I still drive out of the way even though I know enough to get stuff online because I like getting other opinions from real humans lol! Plus they have some great little foodie places near by lol so I always make it a day trip! Hope this helps and hope you love REI as much as I do! Either way..it's worth it..so GO and makeup your own mind! ENJOY!

Ashley C.

Yelp
Greg helped us today with our boot fittings! He was absolutely amazing! He brought out different types of boots, even though we had our hearts set on a particular brand. He was 100% dedicated to our hiking trip and helped multiple customers while helping us. He even remembered our names!

Henry M.

Yelp
On a bike tour from philly to mexico my left keen arroyo Spd cleated sandal broke somewhere in South Carolina, upon arriving in Jax I called the REI store inquiring as to whether or not they had the sandal in stock to replace it, Caroline took my call and confirmed they had the same model and size on hand. On top of that she was willing to drive it over to me in the San Marco district and perform an exchange so i wouldn't have to make The dreaded 15 mile ride through suburban sprawl, during the mid day heat. That is above and beyond the call Of duty! Bloody good job my dear!

Yelp
Why is it if you have to be rude to work at REI, I thought it was just the Jacksonville store but I was at the Seattle store and the same results. I would buy more items from REI than Amazon if the sales associates were more friendly!

Yelp
This is one of the smallest REI stores that I have been to and the selection here isn't that great. The store that I usually go to in RVA is at least 10,000 ft2 and has a much better selection of gear than this store. I'm not sure why this store is so small and has such a poor selection but if you live locally, I'd shop online.

Yelp
Nice sporting goods place, but too expensive for me. So if you are one of those that like to brag about how much you spent at a store then this is the place for you.

Yelp
The staff is great and very knowledgeable they have a great selection of different items and are always happy to help you but without being pushy. I've bought many things from REI over the years and will definitely continue to shop there in the future. I was so happy when we got an REI here in Jacksonville and this location has not disappointed.

Yelp
REI has a good selection of clothing from all the expected brands. Their version of the customer loyalty has a lifetime membership for $20. Staff is pleasant and know the product. We have looked at the community board for various near by outdoor activities in North East Florida.
