I loved this hotel. You can tell that money was actually spent on making this a very comfortable and beautiful property. The bed was very comfortable and reminded me of the original “heavenly beds” concept of another hotel chain. This may seem insignificant, but we also ask for extra pillows in hotels ahead of arriving, and in this property, they were already in the room for us. This kind of attention to detail really elevates this properly in my eyes.

Stayed there on 11/24/25. Requested an upgrade and was initially given the Frank and Dolly Suite, which was shown on the app. Upon arrival, the room was switched back to the typical room. When I asked about the change during check in, the desk said “Oh, you saw that?” The property seemed to be pretty empty and would have rather been told that they hadn’t made up enough rooms after a busy weekend. I’ve stayed at lots of Marriott properties and haven’t felt as blown off as this. As Titanium Elite, I thought I would have been treated slightly nicer (not offered points or breakfast at check in) Driving back from CT after Thanksgiving, we elected to keep driving and not waste our money - too bad. I at least want to feel valued at a propriety that I’ve been loyal to.

Very comfortable rooms and relaxing lounge. The staff are very friendly and are pleasant to have conversations with. Breakfast is also fantastic with a lot of options. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Buffalo!

Stayed here recently for work and thought it was such a strange experience. Overall the hotel was clean and the staff was mediocre friendly. The hotel looks and feels like a senior citizen home when you drive up and walk in. It feels like it was an old nursing home converted. The rooms were mediocre. Maybe not as nice as you might have anticipated or expected on booking and given it is literally the most expensive hotel in town. The location was a little odd bit convenient it the airport. Overall the staff was fine. Didn’t go out of their way. Traveled in business and had trouble sleeping given some weird noises but overall this was an ok stay.

Amazing stay. From the lobby to the room, everything was clean and classy. The room was great and had plenty of natural light. Beds are superbly comfortable and the room was spotless, modern, and sophisticated. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Plenty of breakfast options and food gets delivered to the room at selected time. Adjacent restaurant is great and convenient. Would absolutely stay again.

This was one of my best stays at a Marriott property in a long time! Several of us came here for business in the area and we made reservations here based on a co-worker's suggestion. Upon pulling up outside it doesn't look like much, but once we entered the first thing we noticed was the amazing décor. The customer service from all the staff working the desk and lobby café was also excellent! Checking in was smooth and perfect, she hit all the topics and was very happy, professional, and engaging. She told us lots about the property and gave us an excellent lunch recommendation too! Once we got into the room, it was perfectly decorated just like the common areas we saw upon entering. The tile inset on the bathroom floor and shower floor looked amazing! The bedding was great, flat, and comfy too. Ergonomics of the room were also designed for ease and comfort! They also have a Cadillac Escalade that they use to provide free rides to guests... Anywhere in the area within 5 miles, typically running until midnight! We were fortunate to grab a couple of rides with Marty, who was very engaging and helpful! He took us to a work reception nearby and told us to call him when we were ready to be picked up, which we did and he promptly came back to get us! Shower pressure and quickness of the hot water was perfect! TV also worked perfectly! We enjoyed our visit so much that we'd return to the area just to stay at this hotel again! Highly recommend staying here when in the area! I average staying in 1.5 Marriott properties weekly and based on the poor and inconsistent service at many of them, I wish the management here would train the others on how to keep a property beautifully clean (this place has been here 7 years and it looks brand new still!) and how to provide great service!

Stayed two separate nights at the Reikart House and had a great experience. Rooms are beautiful, just as they look in the photos. Very comfortable and quiet. Excellent staff, we had Brittany pick us up at the airport and Marty at the front desk. Genuinely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We also had breakfast in the lobby restaurant and it was fantastic!! Would love to stay here again.

I was pleasantly surprised with my visit here. I didn't think much of Buffalo, but this place was relaxing, clean, modern, and just plain great! The staff was nice and helpful. They were professional and always greeted with a smile. I didn't need anything else besides checking in or checking out, but I just felt safe with them right at the front door. The lounge area is beautiful. It's cleaned and maintained. They have infused fruit water all throughout the day and it was super helpful on the summer. They have free coffee in the mornings which is also appreciated. The room was clean and organized and the decor was spot on with lots of fine details. The fixtures aren't all perfect because it has been here for a bit of time, but solid. I have been to aging 5 star hotels and this place beats even those. I would come back if I was ever in the area, but once to Niagara Falls is enough for my lifetime. Niagara Falls is about 50 mins from this place and it wasn't a bad drive. Go early in the morning and no traffic at customs. Coming back, there is traffic at customs. There are two Tesla super chargers near here. Anywhere closer to Niagara Falls, there are no chargers.

This is a wonderful hotel. Very small and quaint. The staff is very attentive. This is our go-to when in Buffalo. You won't be disappointed! I DO NOT recommend the Jazzboline restaurant located on the property, though. Will never give them a third chance.

I very specifically requested an accessible room as I utilize a wheelchair chair and require safety accommodations in the restroom. Only upon arrival for our two night, two room stay dd we learn that the hotel only had ONE accessible room and it was occupied! The added burden of requiring assistance from my husband and family in adjacent room made our weekend stay very difficult and stressful for us. Rooms and hotel decor not as expected for boutique-style hotel. Not to mention the pool was in the adjacent building. Very few rooms contain operable fireplaces, most just have mantle piece with pasted wallpaper inside. Housekeeping staff were friendly, rooms were very clean ; however there was a significant language barrier. Room service was delicious, although it was challenging to eat due to room layout and lack of proper seating. To eat dinner the next evening, with reservations, we had to exit the hotel and go outdoors to access the restaurant . We ordered room service food for dinner and breakfast the day prior (even though it was transported) was actually better tasting,warmer, presented much nicer. Overall quite a disappointing experience even though was reputed to be one of the area's finer hotels. Lovely lobby with fireplace, but opulence stopped there. Upon trying to checkout we learned the closest elevator was out of service. I need a real vacation...

This is the nicest Marriott I have ever stayed in! The hotel is beautiful, the staff is highly accommodating and the room was quiet, comfortable and clean. This place is a class act. Apparently, it's primarily a business hotel, so it is pretty quiet on the weekends. If you want to be close to the Buffalo Airport, there is no better place to stay!

We decided to have a one night staycation here. We were impressed from the moment we walked in the door. The lobby area is beautiful. It has huge fireplace and comfortable furniture, offering various seating areas. The staff at the desk were super friendly and immediately offered a free upgrade to a suite due to my Marriott Gold status. We were given a beautiful 2 room suite with 2 bathrooms. I wish we had taken the suite with the fireplace but it was on the first floor and I'm not crazy about first floor rooms in a hotel. The room was also beautiful. Both marble bathrooms sparkly, one had a huge walking shower. Best of all was the bed. It was super comfortable. Probably the best I've ever slept on at a hotel. This hotel is part of the Marriott chain but isn't a typical Marriott hotel. It is part of their Tribute Portfolio, which are independent boutique hotels. This place is definitely worth checking out!

Updating my review, and the first thing I am glad to say is this. Reikart House, is still a wonderful and beautiful place. Even during the Covid pandemic, Reikart House has taken every precaution to make sure you stay safe. They provide you with sanitizer, towels/wash clothes are encased in protective plastic. Even the food provided for you, (romantic package) are stored in containers. Absolutely, no complaints here.

From the minute we stepped in the door it was a excellent experience at the "Reikart house". The front desk staff were very friendly and made us feel very comfortable from the very beginning. As soon as you enter thru the lobby door you immediately get the impression that the designer took their time in the lobby. Every detail was covered from floor to ceiling. The hotel keys behind the reception desk was one of my wife's and sister in-laws favorite things about the hotel. The lobby sitting area was also one of our favorite with the fireplace and the big wood beams on the ceiling. They took their time with the detail and the end product was exceptional. The room was also exceptional and clean with its Nice big comfy bed and the rest of the furniture complemented the whole room. I've always been a big fan of details and bringing the whole space together. Again the designer did a excellent job. The bathroom itself was clean and had great lighting inside with a beautiful shower with it's matching faucets. But honesty after a long day of just walking and touring city of buffalo and Niagara Falls. And the long drive to Toronto, Canada. Entering the room and finding a fresh bag of cookies was priceless. It really ended our nights in a good way and the sweet tooth was a bonus. Great overall experience at this hotel. Definitely will recommend to anyone staying in the buffalo area.

We chose this hotel because it was very close to the airport without being an airport hotel. The rooms are a bit wonky, but comfortable. They could provide more cups for sure. Glad I didn't need a desk because the on provided is terrible. The food in the restaurant is pretty good. The bed and pillows are above average. Could use better furniture to sit on.

I absolutely love this place! I agree with the other reviewer that I stay at a lot of hotels as well, and this place is one of the better ones I've ever stayed at and been in. It's very spacious, beautifully designed, and constructed (value those people!) and the attention to detail is flawless. Also the staff was so helpful, kind and professional. I also want to point out that the bathroom earned major points for me - from the makeup removing towel, to the extra stand-up mirror under the sink, and even how the shower floor was architecturally designed to be slanted downward, so the water drains to the bottom every single time (I have a knack for noticing the small things!) A soft, white robe is hung just behind the door upon your arrival in the bathroom, and they also have a few q-tips included in a tiny plastic packet. Even the paper cup covers had illustrative details as a nice added touch to take it one step above the rest. The bed was comfortably spacious and I loved how the velvet tufted headboard had movable lights on each side to suit your angles. The faux fireplace had whimsically playful patterned tiles and I was admiring the abstract artwork overlooking a modern chaise, complete with an adorable stuffed sock monkey - super cute! They truly had everything down in terms of thinking about the guest, right down to the labels over the foyer swtiches and the complimentary bottled water in the room (extremely appreciated.) I can tell that they put in a great deal of effort into perfecting the guest experience, because I felt that while staying here. Highly recommend with no question, and would come again.

I don't know why this doesn't have its own listing. Whenever I've eaten lunch here none of the other diners have been hotel guests. We are all coming here for the restaurant. For lunch it's a limited menu, but literally has something for everyone. In a beautiful setting. With great seating. There's a tv, silent, usually on the weather channel. I have had a bunch of the lunch menu, but my fav is their bento box. Perhaps $15. Small salad, part of a sandwich, soup and a bite of dessert. Comes on a very nice plate. They have a small beer list, reasonable wine list and I assume a full bar, but haven't confirmed that. There's construction happening and I think the restaurant will be expanded when that done. Right now it's perhaps 8 tables and a long community type table. But you will never be the only lunch diner, word is out. Easy parking.

Excellent hotel!!! Different ambiance in a nice way. Part of the Marriott chain but once you walk in your not in Kansas anymore. All the Marriott hotels should take a page from this hotel. From the hotel lobby to the hallways and the rooms. All have a really nice look to them and the music playing in the background sounds like a 20-30's style and complements the hotel. The breakfast was really good and a very nice way they present the food on the plate. It tasted great and not that expensive. If your going to stay in Buffalo come here you will enjoy it.

This is a BEAUTIFUL hotel with incredible staff. We stayed here while in town for a wedding, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The room is well done. Modern yet timeless, these comfortable, spacious, and aesthetically pleasing rooms were a delight. The moment I walked in, I didn't want to leave. I was also very tempted to get one of their robes. It was so comfortable (but also so expensive, haha, so I passed). The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Our one minor downside was that we were told we could get a shuttle to our wedding, but when we called, they said it was not available, so we had to scramble to get an Uber. All's well that ends okay, though. I wish we could have spent more time at this hotel. It was special, and I would stay there again in a heartbeat (or one of the other hotels managed by this company).

We were on a Uber ride and the driver suggested for us to check this place out for drinks. He said this place is super chill and the whole atmosphere was nice. We took up on his offer and came here one night after dinner to get some drinks. We walked in and were told we could sit wherever we wanted to and someone will be right with us. There was a table outside with four people and two girls sitting inside eating dessert and then there was us. We did get greeted quickly but didn't know what we wanted yet so the server suggested that he would bring us waters and then see what we wanted. Ok, sure. So we did just that but he NEVER came back!!! We waited over 20 mins. He never stopped by. He wasn't even that busy but we barely saw him walk by a few times. We tried to get his attention and couldn't do it. Finally, we just walked out and left. Ugh, annoying.

I have wanted to stop here since it opened so when I got the opportunity to come for happy hour with my coworkers I jumped at the chance. I was definitely not disappointed I jumped at the chance.. I was very pleasantly surprise. The atmosphere was great. I loved the vaulted ceilings and the large fireplace. The decor is very comfortable and welcoming. Since we were there for happy hour I didn't really look at the menu however the food that we had was fresh, well prepared and delicious there's an Italian pasta salad, fruit and cheese trays and sandwiches. All of the staff we're friendly and attentive. I will definitely be stopping here again

The pictures make the building look bigger and taller than it actually is but the place measures up! The lobby and restaurant are welcoming and the fireplace lounge area is cozy like home! Many signature drinks and mock tails to be sipped on couches next to the warm fireplace! The rooms have little unique touches like inspiring quotes in the drawers and warm scented toiletries. The rooms have a master bedroom like feel, not just a hotel or guest room. Had breakfast at the hotel and there's preset options per day that all come out at once. A la carte options available also. The preset meals are well thought out and are delicious! Would def stay here and/or just eat at the restaurant again!

This is a great hotel. Everything was very well done and thoughtful. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. We live just a few miles down the road but stayed here for a getaway and it was fantastic. Room was small but really nice, bed very comfortable. Incredibly quiet in the room, you'd never know you were right next to the thruway. Just 2 small complaints -- water pressure in the shower wasn't great and would periodically get worse while in the shower. Also, the lighting setup is strange. There's a master light switch which turns all the lights in the room off or on. That's handy but if you get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom you'll either be in the dark or you'll be disturbing others by turning on the lights. Strange.

My husband surprised me with a luxurious overnight stay with the romantic getaway package. The property is beautiful, from the dining area to the rooms and everything in between. Everything is pristine and the service is top notch. If you are dining here, try the ribeye; it was cooked to perfection along with the fingerling potatoes and asparagus. We could not have asked for more. The shower was a generous size with all glass doors. The shower head was on the opposite end of the handles that turn the water on, so you stay dry while turning it on. Fantastic water pressure, by the way, which is not the case just anywhere. When we returned to our room from dinner I was delighted to find champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, a beautiful cheese and cracker platter, and two bags with chocolate chip cookies. Really, if I knew all of this was coming, I could have skipped dinner. All staff were very accommodating so thank you for a lovely stay!

I stay in hotels 200 to 300 nights a year and all I can say is... This is what every hotel should be in America! The rooms are awesome! The guest experience is perfect! Stayed here for a few nights when my boyfriend was here for a work conference. Really loved this hotel. Super cute, clean, great sized rooms. Super accessible parking. Love that it's super close to the thruway and food and gas. Would recommend evening just for a night out for a date night.

Wish I could give 4.5 stars. They don't normally serve dinner here since Jazzboline is about 8 steps away. So I will reserve my 5 stars for when I come back. Service for this one time event was exceptional. Ambiance was relaxing and quiet. Just what we were looking for. Dinner choices were good. About 6 items to choose from. Mixed grill was scallops, shrimp, filet over risotto. Everything was tasty and prepared well. Hubs had the ribeye. A little chewy and light on the seasoning but that could also be personal preference. I do hope they consider serving dinner more often.

Updated review: October 2019- This place just continues to impress me. Last time I was here I brought my boss with me and we stayed at this hotel because I knew he would be taken care of and he would be super impressed and it went above and beyond our expectations. Seriously the most comfortable beds I feel like I'm back at home when I'm in these rooms it makes it much easier to be away from home when you feel so comfortable! What's even better now is jazzboline is officially open and just a quick two second walk across the parking lot you literally never have to leave the parking lot to have a phenomenal meal and a great place to lay your head! I make a point to stay here every time I am Buffalo. It is so posh and gorgeous. The beds and rooms are beautiful. Comfortable linens and pillows. I truly feel like I'm back at home. Staff is always so kind. There is a restaurant here that looks amazing - I went down for drinks and really enjoyed myself. I looked forward to staying here when I travel to Buffalo and I made a point even when I have business in Rochester and buffalo to stay here. Conveniently located as we This is a must

This is one of the prettiest, most design forward hotels I've had the pleasure to stay. The detail in the decor is magnificent and the beds are so comfy! I highly recommend this hotel while visiting Buffalo. It's a great location to local things to do including an easy commute from the airport.

This is my favorite hotel ever! I don't even like to call it a hotel, it's my second home. I'm always greeted with just a warm welcome (Jayme is the absolute best!). Anyways, the place smells like warm sugar cookies. I travel a lot for work and the beds here are the only beds I can fall asleep comfortably in. They also come around with warm fresh cookies daily which is so nice

Great overnight spot if you're staying in the Buffalo Niagara region. Meticulous hotel, details of the time period is very nice and cozy. Staff was pleasant and seems like they enjoyed their jobs. I wish it had a jacuzzi or soaking tub, but it's still great.

Absolutely love staying at this hotel when I am in buffalo for business. The rooms at this boutique property are of a decent size and have beautiful decor. The staff is incredibly friendly and always have a smile on their face no matter what the hour. The hotel is oddly shaped and can be a bit challenging if you end up getting a room further away from the lobby. You can move your car to the back of the hotel and then use some of the alternate exits/entrances from the parking lot that is closest to your room. If management is reading this - even though there is a key entry outside, I think another key entry is needed in the interior door for added security if possible. One negative about the hotel is the room service. There is a high standard service fee for every order and it is a somewhat limited menu. When I did order, some of the food came in little plastic containers and was not really aesthetically pleasing. It just didn't match the level of the hotel which is disappointing, hoping they can improve on that! Overall, this hotel makes coming to buffalo more enjoyable and I always find myself looking forward to my stay.

This place is awesome, well maintain, clean, cozy, home feel, bridge between B&B and Corp hotel. The restaurant was awesome. I almost never eat at the hotel beyond breakfast, ended up ate 3 dinners there. They let me custom design my dinner! If I come back to Buffalo again, this is the place to stay!

I have been to this hotel for three business stays. I have only two complaints: low-quality toilet paper and they only have two rooms with desks that actually have a horizontal plane. The other rooms have cute but slanted desks or (their double rooms) have no desk. But other than that, I have never stayed in a place that I've liked so much and had so little to complain about. In fact, it's all so nice that I am leaving a review which I never do. The lighting, the bed, the bedding, the amenities, the furnishings, the staff, the on-site restaurant and bar, the climate, the cleanliness -- all REALLY top-notch. I'm a hotel snob. This is NOT something I take lightly. Oh, and there are ZERO children running around. Mostly professionals from what I've seen from my three stays.

A fantastic hotel with history, a classy look, and interesting story behind it. Lobby and interior, as well as rooms are beautiful! We had an interesting cocktail in the lounge, and noticed many people were enjoying food from the kitchen as well as food from off property. The best part of the Reikart, however, is the people! Every single employee from Lucas to Marty to Jennie and everyone in between was energetic, helpful, and professional!! I'm sorry I don't remember all the names, but we truly enjoyed our stay- lovely hotel!!

We planned a dinner last evening....there were 10 of us. I can tell you that we had an AMAZING evening. Each course was thoughtfully prepared and presented. We asked for wine pairing to compliment each course and it was perfect. A special thank you to Charlie Barone who coordinated with me to have a PERFECT dinner. The wait staff was attentive....and made us all feel incredibly special. Can't wait for our next dinner together with you!!!! :)

Beautiful, fun hotel outside of buffalo. Lobby and rooms were great. We had a corner suite with a fireplace which was lovely. Butler service brings by cookies in the evening. Lounge is nice and we had a wonderful free breakfast every morning. On Tuesdays, they also did a complementary wine happy hour. Gym is well equipped and clean as well Only downsides were that the hotel was under construction while we are there. It is also right off a major highway.

Beautiful interior, friendly staff and top of the line rooms. Very clean and definitely worth the price. I would absolutely stay here again the next time I'm in the Buffalo area.

Great experience every time I come in here. A very unique boutique hotel experience. The restaurant in the lobby has a fantastic menu for breakfast and dinner. I have never had lunch there. The decor is really beautiful. The lobby and hallways smell like vanilla. The room has marble and it is decorated very nicely. Shower water comes out strong and ample space for putting your things on the counter. The bed is softer than the typical heavenly bed offering. It encloses you. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend staying here and giving it a shot. Better than your typical run of the mill hotel at this price point.

Very clean and respectful place. The bed was super soft and clean. Everything worked as it should. Nice big clean windows, lights in bathroom were great and very modern. Whole room had a great modern feel to it. Headboard was very nice soft. Plenty of room for all belonging. Nice bench in front of bed. And lounge couch by bed. The restaurant was way to expensive for us. Towels were very rough and no coffee in the morning was a very big down side for me. TV was very confusing and WiFi didn't work very well. But we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is better than great. Clean - quiet - with wonderful service. The adjoining restaurant is also a perfect match.

Amazing property. We booked via SPG, not knowing much about the hotel. When we arrived, we were confused by the unassuming exterior, only to find a brand new, elegant interior and perfectly staffed! Completely unexpected. Modern lux interior, high-end finishes throughout. The staff is excellent.....professional and accommodating, and if you book a suite, you get a butler! World class.

We love this hotel! We stayed here for part of our honeymoon, and it was such a wonderful stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They upgraded us to a beautiful large room with a fireplace, and we loved it so much that we extended our stay. Everything was modern and extremely clean, which is obviously important during Covid-19. The restaurant, Jazzboline, is excellent; some of the best tasting food in the Buffalo/Niagara area. Will always stay here whenever we are here visiting family!

I've been staying here at the Reikart House 1-2 weeks every month since November and the quality of service has been consistently stellar! Very friendly and accommodating staff, always available to help and willing to go the extra mile. The rooms are very well appointed, clean, classy and welcoming. Great bathrooms with nice, spacious showers. The on-site restaurant has only high quality dishes prepared fresh and with a high degree of detail. Their unique butler service makes the stay even more enjoyable! After staying at other hotels in the area over the years I still consider the Reikart House the best choice.

I travel to Buffalo for business quite frequently, and the Reikart House is always the highlight of my trip. The staff knows me by name, and always goes above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The appointments in the lobby and rooms make the Reikart House feel more like a home, and less like a hotel. I love the evening turndown service - with homemade cookies to boot! And the restaurant is fantastic. I've tried many of the dishes across breakfast, lunch and dinner, and have never had anything bad. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!

Pet friendly? When booking there was no cost for pet however, upon arrival they added $100 per night per pet. One bottle of water for 2 adults with a card that more can be purchased. Frugal hospitality.

Our stay was a real comedy of errors. The woman at the checkout desk barely spoke to us when we first checked in. She took my credit card and gave us our room key cards. No info about amenities, parking etc. It seemed kind of weird, but we went to our room. We were tired from driving so we thought we'd take a quick nap. We were awoken by the beep of the door lock as people entered our room! They gave WORKING keys to other guests to our room! A few minutes later the front desk called and apologized. We were wide awake from the adrenaline of being burst in on. So we got ready for dinner. The phone rang again and the lady at the front desk said there was a problem with our credit card. We talked with her when we left and told her we had already paid through Travelocity, she said she would call Travelocity and get back to us. It seemed weird to tell us about it. Never had that issue with Travelocity before. When we returned a different woman was at the desk and told us it was for the $50 hold for incidentals. She said it was fixed. Huh? We went to sleep. The bed was very comfortable. No issues, we thought the weirdness was over. Wrong! In the morning my husband called to me from the shower that something was wrong with the hot water. He let it run for at least 5 minutes and it wouldn't warm up, neither would the sink water. We thought we could skip our morning showers, and take them when we returned. We told the front desk about the hot water issue, and they said a repairman would look at it while we were out. Six hours later we return. We checked the water, still cold. Called the front desk, they said the maintenance man would come take another look. A few minutes later the maintenance man appeared, he said the whole far end of the hotel was having the issue, but it should work better now that they were fully booked, and we should let the water run for 15 minutes! We called the front desk again, and asked to change rooms, they said it was impossible because the hotel was fully booked. We asked for a refund, and the woman became flustered and said, "There's no need for that!" She said she'd talk to her manager and get back to us. An hour later she called and offered to switch rooms, by then it was late, so we said never mind. She offered us 50% refund and free breakfast. Why not do that from the start? We agreed. In the morning I checked the hot water again and it finally worked! Our room was nice, and comfortable besides the hot water issue. The staff seemed very young and inexperienced. It's a strange hotel. I'd recommend going somewhere else just to avoid the issues we encountered.
