Great location. Big rooms. Nicely setup with TV, work area, and good AC. Shower worked great. Enjoy the complimentary breakfast. Unfortunately the hotel is very dilapidated and things falling apart. Needs a lot of maintenance. Roof unusable. Could be a lot better.

Avoid!!!! The middle aged guy in the front is rude as hell. He’ll try to find Random policies and charge you for anything you can. He’s also very disrespectful. He will talk to you and then do something else while talking to you. He will also ignore you when someone else comes to check in or ask any question. No toiletries in the room or bathroom. The whole hotel feels like it’s gonna break apart. Never going back there and I wouldn’t recommend anybody to book this place. Trash!!!!!

Cute hotel but they should tell people there is extensive renovations in progress and there will be hammering first thing in the morning. Also, basics like an iron and hairdryer seem to be impossible items to supply the guests with. Failed on the basics and NO POOL OR ROOFTOP SUNNING. None of that is mentioned when booking. Also, there is a strange “tax” when you check in. I think it’s for the reception person’s dinner. RIP OFF. Oh and, 200 pesos deposit for a towel but they never seemed to have more than one. I hope they get their shit together because the hotel has good possibilities. JUST NOT NOW. my 2 pesos Greg T.

To begin with, this hotel inaugurates a concept: the hotel where it is impossible to sleep! Indeed, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. a nearby nightclub sets the mood and don't count on background noise, it's very, very loud! It is imperative to wear earplugs.|Then the hotel is dilapidated: lobby floor with broken slats, bay windows that don't close, elevator button broken for a long time and not repaired, the parking lot is in fact a dump, etc.|As for the room, it is very large and rather well decorated. The bed is comfortable. On the other hand, the bathroom is outdated, very low water pressure and above all with A PESTIENT SMELL OF SEWER! It's abominable. I asked to change rooms or to leave with a refund: impossible. The person at the front desk really didn't care about my problem. She still told me that she would report it to the cleaning lady. In fact, I met the cleaning lady at 10:30 a.m. and she told me that she would see about it within half an hour. Back at 5:00 p.m., the room still stank... and the cleaning had not been done!!!|Concerning the roof top: distressing! The swimming pool is a cesspool, a dark footbath to which access is charged €15 per day and per person IN ADDITION to the room (obligatory, even if you don't go).|Finally, I save the worst for last: the staff. On arrival not a smile, the usual formalities, advice on good behavior in the hotel (I'm 55) and nothing else. Faced with my problem, a distressing non-reaction. When I left, not a “goodbye”. Pathetic !|I have NEVER been in such a pathetic hotel!

Doesn't matter how decent the service or location is. Doesn't matter if they tell you that they just fumigate that day... YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE COCKROACHES during the night. Avoid this hotel. (I had to ask in reception for a Raid spray and I kept it during the whole stay.)

We had a nice one week stay at this fun boutique. Be aware of the 300$ pesos per person per night charge at the front desk at check in, but it does include breakfast (which is consistent pretty good) and open bar at the rooftop pool from 12-6pm. The front desk receptionists are all very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and bed/pillows are cozy. The maids do a really good job, so remember to tip them. The water pressure in my room was good, and the water was hot. The bartenders Oscar and Franklin are especially on point with customer service and kept the bar organized and maintained. The fun ascetics of this boutique is well worth a stay. Even the building is unique, featuring skylights in the halls and hanging plants. I liked that is an "adult" place to stay as i wasn't surround by children at the pool and could truly "relax". The pool is very clean and features water lounging chairs. There's always good music playing after 12pm. Overall i would recommend a stay at Reina Rojo.

Breakfast is served until 11:00, which works well for late risers. Rooms are perfect for light travelers. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. The rooftop bar was always closed by the time we got back to the hotel each evening, so I can't speak about that. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Tear it down.|The place is on life support. |Nothing works and no one cares.|Prepare to adjust your plans when you get there. Location is good. Yes there is street noise but it gets drowned out by the demolition taking place on the hotel. I would not return.
