"Berlin has a lot of fine-dining restaurants these days, but few have won a coveted Michelin star, not to mention two.Tucked away in a courtyard that once hosted an Edison factory, Reinstoff has an unabashedly stylish, industrial-chic interior that contrasts with surprisingly warm, relaxed service. Here, diners choose from a couple of multicourse menus: Ganz Nah (Nearby) utilizes ingredients such as Angus beef and Jerusalem artichokes from around Germany , and Weiter Draussen (Far Away) draws on more exotic ingredients such as caviar, quail, and lobster. Whichever you pick, expect serious culinary fireworks from chef Daniel Achilles."

Had an amazing lunch with my wife at Restaurant Reinstoff. Everything on our plates were special but the potato dish truly stood out - the mix of textures and taste was amazing. Furthermore the service was fantastic - not too much and not too little - the waiters managed this balance perfectly. Hurry up to book a table before they close down.

Good food. Great wait staff, very friendly and attentive. Two Michelin starred but the food seems a little less surprisingly inventive than other 2 starred restaurants. Nice modern decor.

This restaurant is understated and lovely. We arrived at Reinstoff not entirely sure what to expect and walked away utterly impressed with both the food and the service. Food: We had the Far Away 5 course menu (wasn't so keen on dessert and cheese) which was slightly more varied compared to the Local menu. Love the meat dishes and portions were decent sized considering that this place was a 2 Star Michelin. Service: Never have to worry about getting service attention unlike what we experienced elsewhere in Germany. Alex in particular was exceptionally sharp noting 1 other customer's extremely strong perfume and offering a change of seat (which we declined, she was a source of chatter for the 2 of us for the rest of the evening). If you are a visitor and looking for a nice place to take your other half, this is THE place. Don't worry about the extremely residential looking surroundings, its worth the visit!

Reinstoff is a restaurant located in an historic site in the middle of Berlin. The restaurant itself feels intimate and trendy without being pretentious. I particular like how the tables are set up, it allows for privacy without having the feeling of being alone. The service is great as you would expect from a place in this category. You can choose from 2 different set menus and have anything from 5 to 9 courses. You can either pick a locally inspired menu or a more modern European style menu. Menus are only served per table meaning you can't have one pick the local menu and the other picking the European one. I see that this might be an issue for some, but it wasn't for us. We went for the locally inspired menu with a wine pairing. Overall we had 6 courses with 6 different wines. The wine pairing was just perfect. The sommelier choose some unusual wines that went amazing with the flow of the meal, this was easily one of the highlights of the evening. Other than the wine there were three dishes that really stood out, the artichoke with Orange, the Veal tongue and the cheese dish. The combination of the artichoke with using different parts of the orange was amazing. The veal tongue was perfectly cooked and had some amazing flavours that were enhanced by the use of plack pudding, well done! The cheese dish was more a whole dish rather than a selection of different cheeses. The combination of some smoked cheese, caramelised cheese and some fruits was just perfect. Beside the highlights all the other dishes were perfectly executed and worth the price and the awards. Overall an amazing experience that surely isn't cheap but worth the money. If you are looking for innovative food for a special occasion this is your place in Berlin.

Great food at a real high price. Probabely one of the very best true gourmet restaurants in town. Even without the 5-course dinner you can have a pleasant way of enjoying the ambience, because they gladly allow you to order a la carte. Friendly attentive service that makes you feel welcome. Plus an outside terrace for al freso dining on a hot summer day is available. Only reason for not giving five stars is the truly high price of this estalishment.

A true gem! Such a beautiful setting, relaxed, comfortable with amazing staff catering your every need. The food sent me on one of the best gastronomic experiences of my life. Delicate flavours, mouth watering combinations paired with excellent wines. The quality of the ingredients is superb! I highly recommend the Vennison! Will definately be visiting Berlin again..just to eat at Reinstoff! Epic

The meals were interesting and delicious, setvice impecable - something you would expect from a Meichelin-starred restaurant. What went beyond expectations was sommelier. He was super helpful, friendly, chatty and put on a show of recommending, preparing and tending to our champagne in a way we've never seen before. Definitely coming back the next time we're in Berlin.

Meal booked for 7pm arrived 15minutes early and restaurant shut, thought we had booked it wrong. Banged on window, no answer. Waited 15 minutes, just about to leave and tried one more time then someone came. Told me they didn't open till 7, great start. Waited ages for first course like they were waiting for everyone else to catch up. Food was average until the 2nd to last course when for the first time ever in a michelin star restaurant we both sent course back as inedible. All in all a poor experience, this restaurant wouldn't be 2 stars in uk.
