Our guide Saruni was top notch. Other guides looked to him. He provided good sightings and information. The camp staff were extremely helpful. They also guided to our tent cabin when it was dark. We slept fine. I know some people who are sensitive to noises might have trouble but don’t sleep in the wild if that is the case! Hippos serenaded. The food was top notch. Do bring a warm covering for mornings and evenings. There are blankets in the safari vehicles, though. They provide basic toiletries and bug spray although we did not experience bug problems including mosquitos. Pack light and enjoy.

What a fabulous, secluded place with top game drives, animal seeing and hotel service place to stay. Highly recommend. Staff was amazing. Our tent was very well kept with little to no bugs and picturesque river view.

This was the second Asilia camp that we stayed at during our 2 1/2 week trip to Africa. This camp is situated along a river, full of hippos. At night, some of the hippos can be a little noisy, so if you are a light sleeper, i would recommend ear plugs. We were in tent number 7 which may be one of the noisier ones. However, this is a first class place. The room was very well situated, facing the river, with 2 chairs and a lounge couch in the tent to sit and enjoy the view. Because it is an open camp, at night a Maasai warrior, with a flashlight and spear, accompanies you to and from your tent. |Every one of the workers at the camp are so friendly. At all of the Asilia camps that we went to, a group of them greeted us with a song. We had breakfast in the bush every day, but you could start at camp and have a hot meal if you preferred. And at sundown, we had drinks at a safe place to watch the sunset. One night, they had set up a full bar under a tree in the Maasai Mara to celebrate the sundown. |Our guide, LIvingston, was an excellent driver and it was amazing the animal spottings he was able to do. At times, there are lots of 4x4s around an animal sighting, and he was excellent at reading us and knowing when to leave so that we could enjoy more sightings. |The food was excellent, the lodge was beautiful, and evenings around the campfire before dinner were magical.

Fantastic! The guides were terrific and we saw so much wildlife. Got us right into the Great Migration. The hospitality was unbeatable and the food was amazing. The tents and grounds were beautiful with hippos swimming right below our room. It could not have been better! Dont miss this camp!

No detail was left out. The service and the experience were exceptional. The property is absolutely stunning and so peaceful. We stayed in family tent 2 and it was perfect for our family of four. This was the first of 3 camps we are staying at and I am not sure the experience can be topped. The people are what made the stay so wonderful. ||||A special shout out to John for his kindness and incredible service. Moses thank you for making our room so lovely and welcoming and for helping with laundry. Karia, our guide, who we dubbed the King, because he is exceptional and went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything we wanted and was so kind and patient with our kids. We saw leopards, cheetahs, I lost count of lions, elephants, giraffes, etc. His knowledge and commitment to his craft is unsurpassed. The next two camps have a lot to live up to. He will forever be the King of Maasai to us. Beside the amazing days and evenings with Karia, I want to extend my warmest gratitude to the team for the heartfelt celebration of my husband’s birthday. It was so beautiful and will be a cherished experience for us forever. To the chef, the food was exceptional and every meal delightful. To the security team, thank you for protecting us and walking in the rain. Maggie thank you for being so kind and for your beautiful smile.

Asilia Camp in Kenya is in a league of its own. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the hosts and staff made us feel instantly at home. The guides are outstanding — showing us every angle of the incredible wildlife and ensuring each safari was unforgettable. Luxury, comfort, with an authentic and original connection to the wild all in one place. Truly world-class.

We had an incredible experience. Saw more animals than we actually expected. Only negative which can bot be controlled by the host was it is a very crowded area so sometimes when you would see animals it was difficult to get close do to the congestion. Still had an amazing time!
