From start to finish, the hospitality at this camp was truly exceptional. The entire team made our stay unforgettable. A special thank-you to our brilliant and incredibly fun driver, Livingston—your knowledge and enthusiasm made every safari absolutely spectacular. Timothy, you run a remarkable property, and John, we appreciated your attentiveness and the wonderful stories you shared with us. And of course, heartfelt thanks to Pesi, Elvis, Chef Francis, and every member of the staff for making us feel so cared for.||Now, the food! Every meal was outstanding—fresh, beautifully prepared, and genuinely gourmet. It was some of the best cuisine we’ve had anywhere, let alone on safari.||The camp itself is intimate and luxurious, set right along the river for an unforgettable atmosphere. The tents are true luxury tents—spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with real bathrooms that feel more like a high-end boutique hotel than a campsite. The sitting areas are perfect for relaxing between game drives.||And the safaris… absolutely jaw-dropping. Every outing left us in awe.||Overall, this was a phenomenal experience—one I will never forget. I truly hope to return! Thank you REKERO CAMP!!!

Rekero is on an incredible location on the Talek River. The staff are incredible and this is an understatement. They strive to welcome and create a memorable and special experience. They are knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife and conservation. The camp is conscious about conservation and eco friendly practices and products. The food was excellent. Eating alfresco in various spots on the Camp showcases the beauty of this location. They accommodated all allergy requirements. It was our 20th wedding anniversary and they baked a surprise cake. Truly a memorable experience. Thank you Rekero crew!

The stay was amazing. We were the only guests in the lodge (it has only 9 tents). Everything was perfect, the tent small but with everything you could think of. The meals really delicious. One highlight was the Elefant eating the bush next to our tent during the night.

Our stay was beyond what we expected! From the moment we got there, we were treated like family! We were greeted in song by the staff led to our beautiful tents. The surroundings are amazing with the hippos nearby in the river. A shout out to Samual, Timothy, Saruni, Paul, Simba, Joseph and Joe. The food was excellent and the amenities for tent life were luxurious. They pay attention to what your needs. Look out for special dining event events! I wish we could have stayed longer. This is a must for anyone traveling to Masai Mara. Stay at least three nights. |Lastly, a special thank you to Saruni, our guide who was so knowledgeable, personable, and just a joy to be around.

Wonderful 2 night stay. Amazing river views. Sunset drinks surprises. The interiors of the rooms are just so wonderful and the food and attention to detail outstanding. Stanley was a real highlight for me. He was an excellent member of staff and so kind !

Personalized service from very attentive staff who make the effort to know you by name. Excellent quality food and nicely appointed camp accommodations. The setting on the river is scenic and offers viewing of hippos, crocodiles and other wildlife from the deck at camp. Our guide Rafael made every effort to find the wildlife we wanted to view, and offered interesting insights into both the animals and people of the Mara. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this camp, and would return.

The staff, accommodations, food & scenery were wonderful. Timothy was an attentive manager with a great team. Our guide Karia was so knowledgeable and seemed to find unique areas to see the wildlife. There was always something different to see every day. Asante!

Staff are outstanding! ||||Facility was well maintained in a picturesque setting, hot showers with great water pressure, chef cooks diverse soups, meats, salads and desserts in the middle of nowhere daily. Hippos, mongoose, crocodiles, all visible from the eating deck and lounge. ||||Guides are educated, friendly, funny and have eyes that spot animals from almost anywhere. ||||Added luxury with happy hours in the middle of the Masai Mara. ||||The staff go above and beyond and the wildlife in the area are just amazing!
