First of all, the whole estate is truly wonderful, well maintained, and a great base to explore the surrounding areas. It is as good as you would expect it to be. As for amenities, like the sauna, it is surprising to find that they come as an extra given the price tag you already pay for your room.
Something which definitely can ruin your stay is the service, or the lack thereof. While some members of the staff are absolutely top-notch, others lack basic skills in hospitality. At dinner, for instance, the maitre is highly engaged in explaining food and wine pairing, whereas another assistant waiter serves a course without saying a single word about the dish you are going to eat. At breakfast, we mostly got served by a waitress who would be qualified for any five star hotel, but there were also waiters who couldn't get a single order right. Those small things sum up quickly during your stay and feel not appropriate to the standard the hotel wants to set.
