Relais Hôtel du Vieux Paris

I loved this hotel for so many reasons: 1) its a great location near many good attractions and restaurants. 2) it’s a smaller 15 room establishment, and the manager and employees are so kind and gentle. They took such good care of us and our little 6 month infant. They also provided very good recommendations for things to do. 3) It is a historic hotel which has been restored very carefully. It is a marvel to behold. Our room on the 5th floor had a little loft and looked like something out of a fairy tale. I hope to be back again and for longer.

We spent a wonderful week at this lovely, well-located hotel near Notre Dame and easily served by public transportation. Gilles, Jean-Marie, and the room/breakfast staff were helpful and attentive. The breakfasts were generous and typically Parisian. I lived in France years ago and never felt more at home there than during our recent stay. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel during future visits. Many thanks for your hospitality

This hotel really surprised me for good. First of all, the location is perfect. You can walk to most of the main attractions in Paris, plus it is very close to the subway. Second, and the best part was the people. They are very nice and helpful, and they did everything to make our stay better. You should realize the building is almost 500 years old, which is why the rooms are not very large; it has a tiny elevator and also very narrow stairs. However, I should say these are all part of the charm of it. I would definitely stay here again if I come to Paris again.

This nice quite hotel is a great stay, only 5 minute walk to the Notre Dame Cathedral. My wife and I stayed 8 nights a side from all the big tourists stuff to see only a short walk to some of best restaurants we enjoyed in Paris also art galleries and plenty of shopping. We plan on going back and stay there again. The room very clean staff so helpful with most everything. I hope you can enjoy your stay as much as we did.

Le relais Hotel du Vieux Paris was one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in, Impeccable service. Kind and helpful in all ways. Very clean. Very quiet and private.||Buildt in 1480, recently remodelled, with 13 rooms, 6 suites. Walls are fabric-covered, with exposed original beams, marble bath, wall-fabrics - exposed beams - marble bathrooms, located near Saint Germain des Pris, Notre Dame, and the Seine.||Pros: small boutique hotel, located on a small, cobblestone street, with wonderful service. Rooms are small, but beautiful, keeping as much of the 1500s wood beams, as possible. There was always a concierge available, no matter the time or day. Beautiful linens, nice thick towels and robes. Electrical andapters available in the room. Hair dryer. Nice soap, shampoo and conditioner offered. They also offer breakfast ( I believe it was 35 euros a head), but we didn’t partake. Concierge was more than happy to help in anyway possible (holding our luggage, scheduling a cab, tourism info, etc.||As well, this hotel is situated right in the middle of the Latin quarter, so very well situated for touring, etc. We could usually take a metro (the metro trains here are amazing — you never have to wait long before another one comes along. Only drawback: they could be very crowded.)||Cons: There aren’t many, to be honest. Rooms are very small, enough for 2 people, unless you book a Suite Privilege or Mezzanine room. If travelling with children, you may have to stay at one of these larger rooms.

Relais Hôtel du Vieux Paris is quaint with a modern touch to accommodate your needs. The room’s have real cold air conditioning which is something you don’t find in many European establishments, HUGE plus. Conveniently located in a quiet area that is within a ten minute walk to either the Odéon bus station or the Saint-Michel metro. The mattress was on the stiffer side but still comfortable to get a great night’s rest. The breakfast option was incredible and fulfilling while making the morning’s much easier. They provide you butter croissants, chocolate croissants, fruit bowls, eggs, juice, yogurt, and coffee. We received the warmest welcome and every service was met with a smile. Look no further for your Paris suite, because you have found the one for you. 10/10 would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff are incredibly attentive and helpful, the rooms are cute and quirky. As they should be given that beat poets hung out here! The neighbourhood is full of iconic bars and restaurants and once you’re on Rue St Michel it’s brilliant. The Notre Dame and Saint Chapelle are a short distance as is the Louvre, Tuileries, Orangerie and D’Orsay. Loved it!

The Relais Hotel du Vieux is a boutique hotel with old world personality. I loved staying here for six nights. The staff were so attentive and pleasant. Our room #16 was quiet and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was modern and clean. The shower was perfect. The location scores a 10. The Seine River is a few steps away and Notre Dame is easy walking distance. Bus, metro and many restaurants are close. Yes, I would love a return visit.
