Our junior suite was beautiful and comfortable and very quiet. The breakfast was abundant (far too much for one person) but it was delicious. Jean Marie (spelling?) AKA Johnny was exceptional! He helped my mother get listed for disability assistance on the trains to and from Paris to Strasbourg. My 86 year old mother was so grateful! His attention to detail for my mother and myself was above and beyond! Gills (spelling?) was also very helpful and attentive during our stay.

I have been a client of the Relais Hotel du Vieux Paris since 1992. It belongs to a family with personal pride in maintain this boutique hotel high standards. Kind and efficient staff, charming and well-kept hotel, comfortable rooms with good beds and air-conditioner. Lovely breakfast offered with a very personal touch. The hotel is situated in the heart of historical Paris, near many attractions and restaurants. Walking distance from most tourist destinations. I consider it my place in Paris.

My wife and I stayed t this hotel with our two 14 year od granddaughters. We rented two rooms; the one for the girls had twin beds and we were both on the second floor.||The hotel is ideally located on the left bank in the Latin Quarter very close to the Place St. Michel metro and one block from the Seine. It is on a very small and quiet street.||The rooms and bathrooms were small but average for a small European hotel and more than adequate. Breakfast was not included in the room rate and a bit pricey but very convenient and delicious. Coffee, pastries, baguettes and eggs offered each morning. You can take breakfast on the days that work for you and skip them when it does not.||The staff could not be more helpful when you are there and was also able to help arrange dinner reservations for us via email before we arrived.||I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone going to Paris.

Stayed here for 2 nights for my birthday and it is a Gem of a find - staff are so lovely and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was beautiful (room 45) and we loved the building (over 500 years old)! The hotel is conveniently situated by the Metro, near the Notre-Dame and there are lots of lovely nearby cafes and eateries where you can soak in the atmosphere and watch the world go by - we loved it!

Absolutely love this gem of a hotel! We stayed here many years ago on our very first trip to Paris, and wanted to stay in St. Michael again, so went back and we were not disappointed. The location is less than half a block from the Seine - you walk to the end of the street and can see Notre Dame. So close to the Metro, and a huge number of restaurant options. Some highlights of the hotel itself - wonderful service from Jean Marie; the breakfast room is beautifully appointed and the ladies that serve are lovely. The croissants were irresistible, fresh orange juice and good coffee made for a great start every day. We were 2 sisters traveling together and found the room fine for 2 large suitcases, good closet size, safe included. Would highly recommend for an intimate, personal stay in a great location. We are so glad that we went back!

On our first trip to Paris, stayed in this 15th century fabulous boutique hotel oozing charm in the heart of St Michel. The location is a stones throw from the Seine, less than 5 minutes walk from Notre Dame and around 15 minutes walk from the Louvre and 2 minutes walk from St Michel Metro. Massive selection of shops, coffee shops, patisseries, bars and restaurants nearby. The staff are just amazing from Gilles, Jean Marie and Basil who are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable with their advice through to the lovely ladies who keep the hotel immaculate and serve an outstanding breakfast too. Our room was lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable . We will stay here again on our next trip to Paris and I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

Don't look any further this is the place to stay for the best location in Paris. So close to all the sights and so convenient to the St Michel metro station. The hotel is beautifully appointed and is very clean. Jean Marie is so welcoming and just couldn't be nicer and helpful. We absolutely loved staying here!!

This hotel is definitely not a 4-star property. I would rate it more like 3 stars. While the 15th-century building sounds intriguing, it’s quite old, and the design, which looks nice in photos, is actually rather cheap in person. I’m not sure why it has so many positive reviews—it's definitely not worth the price. But I have to mention that the people that work there are friendly and helpful.
