I would not suggest wasting your time here. My family and I wanted to celebrate my 60th birthday here, taste wine, and see the gorgeous vineyard that is posted on the website. The experience the website advertises is not the experience you get. We bought four tickets and needed to rent a car totaling in over 300 euros. It was a waste of money and an afternoon. We arrived and they were obviously not ready for us even though we bought the tickets the day before. When we arrived they asked for our name and sent us to the “bar”. The bar did not have a single staff member there. We waited around having no direction what so ever. Finally someone arrived and showed us where to sit which is not outside by the way. The wine itself was tasty but barely explained. We had one sparkling and three red wines which was not what was advertised. When we asked the bartender about a tour he said yes there would be one. Additional guests started arriving and the service became nonexistent. The bartender started pouring new wines to taste into already used glasses from our table blending the wine that was left. We were there for over 1.5 hours when we heard the receptionist telling other guests about the tour. We went to the front desk to ask and were told that the tour was in half in hour which was the same time our car service was scheduled. The worst part was the receptionists reaction to us letting her know this wasnt the best experience. She said “ill talk to the company”. While we enjoyed the wine we wanted to bring some home with us for a somewhat happy ending. We asked to purchase wine, selected it and let the receptionist know. She said okay but then continued to check in guests for the hotel. Truly the wine itself was delicious but do not waste your time booking a tour for yourself they obviously do not care. Maybe it was because we were visiting the country and not local.

Wonderful vineyard inn in a charming old building. Spacious, well-appointed rooms. Our suite was only slightly more expensive than a king toom and came with two bathrooms and a sitting room. Very quiet property. Restaurant is superb. Large saltwater pool with plenty of lounges. Extensive grounds with trails through the vineyards and olive groves, leading to spectacular panoramic views. Excellent service.

The hotel is located in a very quiet area hidden in the hills between Cefalu and Castelbourno. Hiring a car is a must. The rooms are quintessentially Italian, the storage in our room was limited, with just one wardrobe between 2 adults staying for 10 nights was quite tricky but we managed, otherwise the rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel grounds were beautiful we enjoyed our runs in the morning around the vineyards. The pool was always quiet plenty of room to catch some rays after a day exploring the area. We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to join a gala dinner when we arrived which included a tour of the winery which was fab. We were also warned before arrival that a wedding was happening during our stay but the hotel staff still accommodated us in the restaurant that evening. The staff at the hotel absolutely made our stay, each one was welcoming helpful and made us feel very special. We ate in the restaurant a few nights and the food and wine were excellent. If you are searching for a quiet relaxing stay away from crowds this is the place for you.

Remote and beautiful location with breathtaking views and stunning exterior buildings with fantastic poolside terrace. Excellent service in restaurant and hotel lobby. Please note, always access via the first exit with a red sign...this is not obvious and needs to be lit at night, otherwise there is a second turning a few kilometres later which needs to be avoided at all costs. Hotel makes an ideal short term break of 3 to 4 days. Restaurant food of high standard but expensive. We do recommend the wine pairing menu....excellent. Breakfast is ok but not the same standard as the main restaurant. The Pool terrace whist spectator lacks comfortable sun loungers and there is no provision of umbrellas if you require a modicum of shade. You are offered a shaded tree grove which is not pleasant. In the evening the hotel is dead and the bar is not manned and you have to ring for someone to come and serve drinks. Our room was small and tired with no Aircon until June 1st. There was also a lack of drawers (none) and the bathroom was cramped with a small shower cubicle. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Did not stay here but dropped in for a wine tasting. Came without a reservation and they accepted us. Chose the 35€ option, which was two whites and two reds, accompanied with a small sample of cheese and salami. All four wimes were excellent. Our server was very knowledgeable and the views were breathtaking.

Absolutely loved this hotel. A very winding pot holed lane to get to the property but definitely worth it. So quiet and secluded. Pool area offered stunning views. Dinning in the courtyard at night was magical. Staff were attentive without being over the top. The 5 course menu with wine offered brilliant choices of Sicilian dishes. We loved ever minute. Breakfast buffet on the terrace again was a lovely experience. Wishes we could have stayed longer. Will return.

Lovely and impressive setting. Room ( suite) very large and comfortable although a musty odor was offset by the use of overpowering plug in room scent. Breakfast was plentiful and good although the service was only fair. Dinner in the restaurant was poor with both the service and food a problem. Loud late night noise from the kitchen made sleeping difficult. Staff at front desk brisk but competent. Staff otherwise sometimes bordered on rude.

The wine and food was the highlight of our stay here. The hotel was very nice. Only 4 stars because the walls of the room were really thin and you could hear everything from the room next door.
