This was my first time in Rome and I had the best experience staying here. Elisabetta and Lavinia were so helpful in working with a company in getting there from the airport, recommendations on where to go, and overall help. This applies to the rest of the staff as well. The room was clean, the breakfast was great, and you feel safe. The hotel is in a great location where you can walk and reach where you want to be in 10-25 minutes. (I’m a slow walker). The price was great as well. This will be where I stay the next time I come back to Rome. 10/10 recommend.

Lavinia and staff were wonderful, very welcoming and made sure we were comfortable our entire stay. Location felt very safe and so many options of things to do in walking distance. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. We stayed for two nights. We arrived before check-in, and they were happy to hold our bags until the rooms were ready. ||The room was small but spacious. The beds were comfortable and the shower had good pressure. ||We loved the included breakfast on the rooftop patio each morning. It included many choices, such as pastries and ready-made eggs or bacon, with cappocino ||The staff at the desk were helpful with information about city buses and restaurant recommendations. ||Only thing to note is it is on the 4th floor. There is a very small elevator - 4 people with out luggage will fit. It was not an issue for us but something to be aware of.

Very nice hotel in very good area. Super nice staff who couldn't do more to help. Lovely rooms. It's a 4th floor and when we were there the lift was not always working. Otherwise would be an easy 5 stars....

We had a wonderful stay! From the first day, the the staff was extremely warm and hospitable. The lovely woman gave us a map and marked sites to visit and recommended restaurants. The room we occupied was very clean and spacious with a mini fridge for drinks and a tv. The location makes a lot of sites easily accessible by walking, such as Castel San'Angelo and Piazza di Popolo (where our day trip meet-up was located). Bus 87 is also right outside the hotel and a tobacco shop is across the street where you can purchase a Roma Atac passes/cards. Free breakfast is served every morning! I couldn't recommend this location more! Thank you so much for a pleasant stay!

This place was great! Amazing location, we walked almost everywhere from there. The people who worked there were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and served on the beautiful rooftop. You gotta try the French bakery that’s right downstairs as well as the pizzeria. Both were great! The ac was not very cold but that’s to be expected in Rome. Shower didn’t drain well either, and the blinds over the balcony door didn’t go up and down so it was hard to get out onto the balcony. Other than those minor complaints we loved it and so happy we stayed there!

Lavinia, the receptionist, was very unkind and disrespectful. As soon as we walked into the hotel, we were greeted with “what’s your confirmation number?!?!” and a frown, instead of a friendly “ciao”! It turns out we had a miscommunication regarding our booking from Expedia. Instead of calmly and kindly explaining the situation and helping us find alternate solutions to the issue, she proceeded to insult me, talk down to me in a condescending tone, and ask inappropriate/unprofessional questions (ie. what’s your age??). The least she could have done in that situation is be kind and show empathy to tired hotel guests/prospective customers arriving late in Rome. As the front desk of the hotel and the first point-of-contact that guests meet, Lavinia needs some serious lessons on proper customer service and hotel etiquette. However, we do want to praise and recognize the other staff at the hotel. Lito and Cippy turned our experience around and treated my family with so much kindness, warmth, and hospitality. They were also super helpful in giving us great restaurant recommendations and travel tips, as well. I have mixed feelings about giving this hotel a bad review. However, I felt it was necessary to give this constructive feedback about Lavinia to the hotel management and a disclaimer to prospective guests.

If I could give this place 5 negative stars I would. And if you want to be next to Vatican City where traffic is constant and you’re surrounded by pricey restaurants that under deliver, then this is the location for you. However let me get back to the room – I would say the description of pricey hotel that under delivers or does not deliver would be accurate. The room itself was nice with a king size bed and a lot of space, however the BASIC functions like shower and air conditioning did not work for the entirety of my stay. I had to send 30 to 40 messages to Staff just to get the shower fixed. It finally started working on the final day of my stay. The AC did not work at all and I was sweating through the night every single night. Rome is an extremely hot city and you really need a bedroom with a functioning AC. I repeatedly asked to be switched to a room that worked and was ignored. I also asked for a refund so I could find a different hotel and was refused. Also you should know that there is no 24/7 onsite reception here so you have to communicate with them on WhatsApp. The front desk is only open for five hours a day from 2 to 7 PM. Those are terrible hours! The reception rarely if never answers the phone. That is not advertised on the booking area or website. I would say it is best to go to a hotel that has on-site reception 24/7. My wallet was stolen and I lost my key to enter the building and luckily someone from reception was nearby so they could come and let me in but imagine if they have been far away? There was also construction happening on two of the three days that I was staying there. Loud hammering starting at 8:30 AM and also the terrible smell of chemicals such as paint were wafting into my room. I really should have been refunded at the first request. Very terrible customer service overall. The pricing was high also – over €200 every night. This hotel did not deliver in so many ways. The room in all truth was UNINHABITABLE. I finally came to another hotel in another city where the air conditioning works and the shower works and it is so nice. Those are basic things at any room should have.
