I stayed in the Fabia suite on the first floor and the room itself was nice and big. Reception is only there from 2-7pm, so you will have to do self check in if you arrive late, which worked fine for us.
They can also hold your luggage but since reception is only there from 2-7, there was no one there to take our bags. You were just told to leave it there. Also, your bags won’t be behind a closed door, it’ll just be sitting in the main reception room.
What soured my experience was the staff that makes breakfast and does the room cleaning. I think they need hospitality training so they could provide great service to ALL guests. I noticed that they were very nice and attentive to some customers while ignoring others. They would repeatedly serve others before me even though I arrived at breakfast first and wouldn’t address me either.
When the housekeepers knocked on the door for cleaning, we let them in and I could hear them talking about something smelling badly in their language (Tagalog) which I could also understand. I was also in the service industry and I understand that people talk, but please have the restraint to at least wait for the guests to leave the room before talking badly about them or the room.
I think they assumed I wouldn’t be able to understand Tagalog, but I do and it was awkward to hear staff talking about you right in front of your face.
