rele gallery is a cornerstone of Lagos' art community, supporting emerging talents with compelling exhibitions. their commitment to contemporary african art was very evident in every on my very first visit. although i didn’t spend much time there and wasn’t allowed to take photographs, it was amazing to see the works of the artists in the ongoing exhibition and the themes they explored. the space itself was also impressive and warm welcoming. rele gallery is a must-visit on the list, for anyone interested in experiencing contemporary african art.

I really like the new space, it’s airy, more accessible and bigger than the older space. Last time I was there I saw “Face Me l Face You” by David Otaru. I really enjoyed my time there.

I had always wanted to visit Rele Gallery and today I visited to see the exhibition 'Who We Are When the Glory is Gone' by Jessica Soares. The collection beautifully shares the artist's journey through hair loss. The art work was unique as every art is but I love the story behind it. The ambiance was cool, allowing me to immerse myself in the artwork. I’ll recommend Rele Gallery to art enthusiasts and anyone looking to connect with powerful narratives through art.

I like the decor and the art content, especially for someone like me who's not a 💯 art enthusiast. The concept was relatable. I really wished we were allowed to take pictures, though 🙄.

Rele is a neat, quaint, urban gallery that showcases contemporary art pieces. Though compact in structure, it adopts an eclectic use of space with bright colours that pop, as well as minimalist decor. I visited on a weekday, only got to see the ground floor showcase and it wasn't crowded at all. Highly recommended and worth visiting again and again.
