The food here was a little bit on the bland side, we ordered the eggs, Lamb Burger and the Chicken Rice. The chicken rice was probably the nicest! Drinks were good too.

One of the best full breakfasts we had while travelling! Loved the homemade hash browns. Only small thing I didn’t like was having the cocoa powder sprinkled liberally over the coffee saucer. Totally unnecessary and very messy; it goes everywhere! Just don’t, please.

I'm a fussy kiwi when it comes to flat whites and having been out of the country for 10 years my expectations are high. Sophie's flat whites are by far the best I've had while traveling around.

So good I went twice in one day. My friend lives in Wanaka and loves the place so we met for an early morning coffee. Super cute place with great views and friendly staff. The porridge is world class delicious (there’s a sentence I never thought I’d type!). Took my husband there for lunch later and had a glass of Amisfield Pino Gris (yum) and this pumpkin soup with cheese garlic bread and a grand to go. Incredible value for money, super delicious food and the warmest friendliest team. Don’t miss out if you’re in the area. PS I forgot to get a pic of the porridge but trust me it’s like nothing you’ve ever experienced 🤩

The hot honey chicken rice was super good, as was the coffee, and everything came out promptly. I dropped my wife’s credit card on the ground when I went to the toilet and didn’t realize it until after I left. The barista, Damon, had found it, kept it for us, and kindly refused the tip I tried to give him afterwards. Lovely people, would recommend this place on all levels!

Great food, loved the coffee! Serving staff were super friendly, Nat in particular was a gem, she was SO happy to make menu choice recommendations that were incredibly solid! We enjoyed the big brekky X 2, some excellent coffee that was good and strong and finished off with some tasty sweeties with our second coffees. Place had great views of the lake and mountains if you were happy to brave the cold, outside, we weren't and chose to sit by the open fire.... Great for young families and all comer atmosphere, full of happy servers and great food. Should be more than a 4.5 Google ranking in my view....

As a coeliac and lactose intolerant person I was happy to find a place that was able to safely cater for breakfast and lunch! I didn’t love my breakfast, but I LOVED the chicken Vietnamese salad I had for lunch. Like it was the best lunch I had in my New Zealand travels. They are coeliac aware and take extra care with gluten free meals. Nice staff members and pleasant atmosphere. Enjoyed my coffee too!

Great food, great service. We were lucky the chicken liver is on the menu, the honey chicken and whatever we ordered came very quick and tastes really good. We are regular traveller with high standards.
