The hotel was accommodating, and the rooms are gigantic. Nice deep bathtub, The sour cherry cake was incredible and a very good breakfast spread. No the breakfast room is at a spiral staircase and not accessible by elevator, but we just brought our breakfast to our room. Excellent location, though cobblestone Street, made it difficult for my elderly mom. Again, the hotel was very accommodating to her needs. The rooms are absolutely huge and we had a view into old town that was so gorgeous. We could even see the parliament buildings in the distance. Thank you for making our time and Bucharest so comfortable

Great location, right in the heart of old town. Stayed on the first and the sixth floor. Road facing. Due to this being a club / bar district. It did get quite loud. Especially on the weekends. Earplugs are a must. The room we stayed in 11 & 61 were very large rooms. Concierge was super friendly and helpful.

I would not stay here again unless I called in advance. The rooms are a good size, clean, well furnished and have an old world charm. The people are very helpful, efficient and friendly. It's located in the heart of the old town. The breakfast was good. We had a room on the top floor facing the street. Great view. All seemed great. So why not five stars. Three sleepless nights. The bar two shops down was pumping out loud music until 2am on a week night then up till 6.00am on the weekend. If you are about to book, I suggest you ring the hotel and ask if the bar is still operating and pushing out noise and if so whether they have a quiet room at the back.

Really enjoyed my stay here on my short vacation. The manager was excellent throughout, great communication, and set up the very safe, efficient transport to and from the airport. Staff were atentative to all questions and needs, knowledgable too, which helped. The Location was perfect, busy on saturday night and fairly noisy but that's expected, as Bucharest is a great city. The rooms were nice, I upgraded from a Balcony Room to a Deluxe Double and we were very happy with it. Breakfast was adequate every day and there was a good choice, the guy on the Breakfast Shift was really pleasant and helpful. Will stay here again if I return and would advise anyone looking for a great location and quality stay, to just book here.

Traveling to Bucharest many times to visit close friends, I've stayed at this wonderful hotel since 2007 after trying other hotels and even renting vacation apartments. Expertly managed, a clean and classy historic building with large rooms. The best place in town IMHO, in the historic cultural heart of the city's famous Lipscani District. Old town charm, clubs, restaurants, shops and even the national bank just footsteps away, it's got everything at a great price. They serve a nice breakfast on the mezzanine level for a great start to your day. They have rooms of all kinds, quiet rooms too. One Summer years ago I stayed in the large room on the roof only accessible by a narrow staircase from the top floor with a big window looking across the rooftops to the bright lights of Piata Unirii and spent 10 minutes with a huge owl checking each other out, magical. Communicate with the great staff well ahead of time and they'll get you just what you want.

A lovely Hotel right in the heart of the Old Town. Small Reception area but well manned and Receptionists very friendly and helpful. We stayed for three nights at the start of our tour of Transylvania and one night at the end. The room we had for three nights was massive with everything you could need and the bed was really comfortable.Be warned, Bucharest is MAD on a Saturday night! Music wall to wall on a Saturday night until Sunday morning. Didn’t bother me as I wore ear plugs but kept our friends awake. |We returned to the Rembrandt for one night at the end of our holiday but were given a room with several stairs up to it which was a No No. The Receptionist kindly gave us another room but it was a much smaller room than our original one. Can’t complain though.

Stayed at the Rembrandt for a long weekend with my son and friends for a stag do.|The hotel is very clean, comfy beds and plenty of amenities but the staff were brilliant, I was very unfortunate to have my mobile phone stolen, (please research scams and crime in Bucharest before going) ,I didn’t and paid the price. Luckily for me I had someone like ‘Ramon’ on the reception desk who not only allowed me to use his phone countless times he also allowed us to have some food from the breakfast Buffet as we had no money, I can’t thank him enough for this and although the experience did ruin Bucharest for us I will always remember how nice the staff were there and also some other Romainian people we met, shame for the yellow cab drivers who are mostly common thieves and took my phone.

Nice spacious room and clean. Breakfast is simple but good. Location is right in the centre of the old town. Downside is the very loud music playing from the bars/restaurant in the evenings so if you’re trying to sleep...bring ear plugs……..
