14 Best Spas in New York City, According to Our Wellness-Obsessed Editors | Condé Nast Traveler

"One of New York City’s newest—and arguably most cutting-edge—wellness destinations, this celeb-loved hub is known for its ice baths yet proves to be much more than a haven for the latest health trend, with an ethos of community that fuels a brand-new social self-care category. The sleek, monochromatic space in the heart of Flatiron is a place to gather, heal, and relax together: settle into a custom couch and watch a movie while getting an IV drip alongside your partner, catch up with a friend in the infrared sauna, or challenge a coworker to join the “six-minute club” in an ice bath class. Other services span a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, cryotherapy, lymphatic compression, acupuncture, and more, and guests can drop in for one-off sessions or opt for membership at the Flatiron club or the soon-to-open, even larger Soho location." - CNT Editors

"I describe Remedy Place as a social wellness club with locations in New York, Boston, and Hollywood that focuses on evidence-based interventions—circadian rhythm realignment, heart rate variability–guided recovery protocols, and metabolic optimization programs—designed to restore balance, reduce inflammation, support immunity, and improve sleep and recovery in real time." - Jen Murphy

Remedy Place Soho has become a genuinely essential part of my weekly routine. The space is beautifully designed, calm, and consistently spotless. It feels more like a private wellness club than anything else in the city. The staff are exceptional: warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. Everything runs on time, every treatment is explained clearly, and they strike the perfect balance between being attentive and letting you disconnect. I’ve used nearly every service (contrast therapy, hyperbaric oxygen, lymphatic boots, red light, and chiropractic) the quality is top-tier across the board. You leave feeling genuinely better, not temporarily distracted. Recovery, sleep, and overall stress levels noticeably improve. In a city that moves fast, this is one of the few places that reliably brings you back to baseline. Highly recommended.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Remedy Place Soho This was my first time at Remedy Place SoHo and it was such a great experience. We did the roller massage, cold plunge, and sauna, and booked the sauna suite, which was awesome because we had the space to ourselves. It felt super laid-back and enjoyable, we got to hang out, talk, and relax while still doing something that felt really good for our bodies. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially for a first visit, and made everything easy and comfortable. The roller massage was a great release, the cold plunge was refreshing (in a good way), and the sauna was the perfect. The space is clean, calm, and beautifully designed. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed and will definitely come back!

I've been visiting Remedy Place for the last four months, seeing Alexandra for acupuncture appointments. A few months before starting acupuncture, I learned from my neurologist that I had a pinched nerve in my lower back, causing a myriad of problems that had affected my sleeping and mobility. After starting PT and yielding middling results, I decided to begin acupuncture to see if anything could be improved. Not only did I see results pretty much immediately, but I also started regaining muscle lost in areas affected by my pinched nerve. Alexandra has been great and is incredibly knowledgeable. She asks questions and listens at the start of each appointment, and I leave feeling better every time. And, as an added bonus, the acupuncture has been wildly helpful with my heartburn issues, which is something I never expected to be remedied by these sessions. If you're looking for an acupuncturist, Alexandra is your person. She's been mine for the last four months and will remain so for a long time to come. And to add to that, the staff at Remedy is great at communication and scheduling, which is no easy task with my forever-changing schedule. TLDR: Go! 5/5. Excellent experience.

I recently visited Remedy Pl SOHO for a full day of self-care and relaxation, and from the moment I walked in I was warmly welcomed! The staff is top notch. I started off doing lymphatic compression which was incredibly relaxing and definitely did its job. The AI massage was fantastic—absolutely worth trying—and although I had never considered cryotherapy before, I gave it a shot. After experiencing everything, I left with a huge boost of energy and had the best sleep afterward. Highly recommend!

Google
Remedy Place is genuinely life changing. The space is beautiful, calm, and thoughtfully designed Jillian, Jackson, and the rest of the staff were incredibly professional, supportive, gave personalized care and extremely knowledgeable. This is the place to go if you’re looking for scientifically proven optimization and wellness that’s intentional not just trendy.

Google
I love Remedy Place. The space is calm and intentional, the services actually work, and the staff is consistently thoughtful and knowledgeable without being salesy. It feels less like a “wellness spot” and more like a place you return to because it genuinely improves how you feel. It’s rare to find something that delivers both results and a sense of community. Remedy Place does both.

’ve been to many wellness clubs and recovery spaces in NYC, so I usually know what to expect — calm energy, transparency, and time that actually feels restorative. Unfortunately, Remedy Place SoHo delivered… cardio-level stress instead. Every visit felt rushed, like wellness was being speed-run. The staff came off oddly selective and transactional, and instead of relaxing, I found myself watching the clock — not exactly the nervous system reset I signed up for. Then there were the surprise fees. Apparently, part of the recovery experience here is recovering from your bill. None of this was clearly explained upfront, which felt unnecessary for a place marketing itself as “premium.” Bonus round: no receipt ever arrived in my email, which is impressive considering how efficient the charges were. I regularly visit other high-end wellness clubs, and I’ve never encountered this combination of rushed energy, hidden costs, and missing follow-up. Wellness shouldn’t feel like being late for a flight you didn’t book. Overall, not relaxing, not transparent, and not worth the price. Would not recommend — especially if you’re here to unwind rather than increase your cortisol.

I started doing regular HBOT sessions at Remedy Place about six months ago and it has been amazing. If you can afford it, it is well worth it for your longevity. I'm a 38 year old personal trainer and I regularly compete in olympic weightlifting. I can definitely tell that my body is much better able to recover from the wear and tear of weightlifting because of HBOT. I have also done a few vitamin drips and felt amazing for several days following that. Staff is very helpful and nice and it's a really enjoyable experience to go in there spend some time taking care of myself.

Yelp
Have you ever been introduced to something new, and from the initial moment you meet you know that you've met an addiction? Remedy Place is one of those moments for me. One hour and I am hooked. I'm not one to start small, so I went straight for the hyperbaric oxygen chamber and was walking on clouds for the rest of the day. From the moment I walked inside and was greeted by the loveliest humans at the front, to my experience in the chamber, I felt safe and supported. I would have spent the entire day there if the nurse was in, but it just gives me (many) reasons to go back! I highly recommend Remedy Place.

Yelp
Wow! What a gem this place is. Everyone at the front was welcoming, my treatment was top tier, the amenities & cleanliness were spot on. I absolutely loved it here.
