Absolutely the best latte I’ve ever had. And I’ve been around! Perfectly crafted, creamy, deliciousness. The soft serve, cookie and tart were also incredible! The atmosphere is dreamy and laid back. I can’t say enough about this little gem. We were just passing through, and now I want to move to Ashland. Lol.

Jared Z.

Google
The atmosphere is incredible for studying or just chatting, lots of seating and outlets. The matcha was also fantastic.

Google
Very good coffee, haven't tried much else but I'm definitely going back. Great staff! Only thing is it's loud and difficult to have a conversation in if you're slightly hard of hearing, but other than that it's very clean and a great vibe

Felisha G

Google
Got a tasty vanilla latte, croissant, and yogurt parfait. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was chill. Definitely a nice stop on our family road trip through Oregon!

Google
This little coffee shop is perfect for “light lovers”. This place has tons of natural lighting and lots of seating options. Perfect for students and also for groups. If you want some rays just go outside and as there is seating also available.

Stopped while on a road trip. Good coffee, good food. So cute! Always nice to find a local spot.

Google
after trying a couple other places in town, this is deemed the best for an iced latte. the food looks amazing, i’d love to come back for it

My favorite coffee shop in Southern Oregon! Amazing croissants and matcha

Yelp
Re Mix is an amazing local coffee shop! It is the same shop as Mix in downtown Ashland, but in a less central location, closer to SOU for students to enjoy. I love Re Mix in the summer time because they open the entire wall of windows to lead outdoors to their gorgeous plant-filled patio! It is amazing for getting a summer breeze while working on your laptop. Re Mix is very popular among remote workers and students to hunker down and work all day. They have amazing ambiance with classic coffee house music, plenty of outlets, and comfy seating. Re Mix is one of the only places in Ashland where you can comfortably work outside under shade. The baristas are very friendly and if you go there enough, they will remember you and ask about your life. During the school year, the shop does get overrun by college students being so close to campus. If you want to work there, I suggest arriving early to get a spot. They have a lot of free parking behind the building so you don't have to park on the street! Much like Mix, I think Re Mix has one of the best chai lattes in town. It is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy!

Sara M.

Yelp
Stopped by as soon as the shop opened at 7 a.m. on a Saturday and scored one of the angled parking spots alongside the building. A line to order quickly formed, but also moved at a good pace. Smooth coffee drinks and tasty cheddar chive and blueberry scones. Be sure to add an almond croissant (or two) to your order. They're light, crisp, and flavorful; absolutely delicious!

Yelp
Been coming here for the years it's been open every time I visit Ashland. The food and coffee are great. The service could stand to be a bit more friendly, but at least they aren't rude. But -1 star because they aren't friendly and therefore don't seem happy. Who isn't happy working in coffee biz?? ‍

Jeanne B.

Yelp
Service is good Coffee is strong ... maybe cut the shot in half for light weights like me Pricey coffee London Parks are good without the vanilla syrup The pastries look good although I can't eat them It's got a nice vibe and I like together once every trip that I visit my hometown of Ashland They have a fly problem, so maybe they could use lavender or citrus sprays or candles or citronella candles ?

Susan D.

Yelp
Very nice vibe inside, cool and with a industrial flare dotted with large flora in strategic spots. Not many people there at 7:30 am, but very artisanal style with each coffee=slow-ish. So as long as your not in a hurry it's a great place, the coffee itself was delicious. They use stumptown and they did have a shaded patio on the far side, if we had time would have been nice to sit with the dog and savor our drinks. But we needed to get on the road... so maybe next time we pass through.

Nate T.

Yelp
My review is strictly for their bread and croissants as I didn't order anything else but trust when I say, this is one of the best bakeries I've been to. The service was awesome and the brightly lit space was very welcoming. Very clean tables and lots of tables to sit and enjoy. But the ham and cheese is the winner. The flaky croissant and perfect seasonings made this super irresistible. I would've bought 2 if they had another. I'll be back for sure so I can make sandwiches from their fresh baked loaf of bread.

Yelp
Remix Not the greatest of places for someone who desires a conversation over coffee and a treat. So LOUD. The music is cranked. The music reverberates. Sitting outside isn't better, as it is punctuated by the crosswalk signal going over over two minutes. The target audience is college kids propped up against their devices or books. The music probably plays well to them. Parking is horrendous. Not really the effort. Mix is great company and a wonderful addition to the community. We say it is the best coffee in town, but will stick to the downtown location. The baked goods and bread at The MIXES are EXCEPTIONAL. So head in for that but if you want to enjoy a conversation there are better locations.

Theo S.

Yelp
Great staff Great location Clean restrooms Pet friendly Plenty of outlets for laptops

Joseph H.

Yelp
We love the coffee and pastries here. The furniture is trendy, but really uncomfortable. It's straight up bad.

Yvette G.

Yelp
Service was horrible. Cashier ignored me and I didn't get to order until a second cashier finished her conversation and asked me if I have been helped. I asked for a pastry and had to ask to for it to be heated. When I picked up my drink and pastry to go, my drink was disgusting. The pastry was still cold. First and last time here.

Rick S.

Yelp
The best all-around coffee shop I've visited in Ashland. We went two times recently, enjoying the top-notch pastries (plain croissant, rum-raisin roll that did taste of rum), and yummy coffee drinks (mocha latte, golden milk latte for a less-caffeinated alternative). They did give us to-go cups when we were eating in-house (we didn't specify either way), but not a big deal. Would have to try their ice cream someday. Others liked their almond croissant and drip coffee.

Sarah T.

Yelp
Super cute atmosphere, lots of covered open air seating. I enjoyed an iced mocha which was delicious and had a unique chocolate flavor. Lots of taps with cider and kombucha. Fun place overall.

Katie K.

Yelp
I was looking for something fun to do around here. I went to a cute emporium, passed by Starbucks and thought naw, too average. Boy oh boy I am so happy I stepped in here! I'm not sure where this ice cream comes from, but I'm 45, and this is the second best ice cream I've ever had in my entire life. I'm allergic to alcohol but the bourbon hot fudge is amazing and I don't taste anything like alcohol. The vibe in here is very chill complete with some chill music, it's airy and bright in here but not cold or hot. I'm loving it. The coffee is mixed with care you find in Portland or Seattle. I'm not tasting the coffee flavor, it's a perfect mocha. You can also get a scoop of this ice cream with a double shot of espresso, I was thinking about it, but next time definitely. Best ice cream in Southern Oregon for definite.

Pat G.

Yelp
I've given this place a chance multiple times but it always falls short. The coffee is not great and it's a really uncomfortable little spot. Very limited parking. It's right across the street from Starbucks and it is inferior. The nail in the coffin is the poor hours...closes at 5pm so you his shop totally misses the mark.

Steve M.

Yelp
Great croissants! Got a variety for a group of 6 ladies doing a bike ride They all loved them! Especially the almond ones! The person helping me was pleasant to chat with! Would recommend them !

Sarah C.

Yelp
Being a big fan of the Beanery which used to be in this building it's hard to not compare - but we'll try. It's nice. Very clean and modern. Straight out of Portland or San Francisco. Open space. Lots of light. Plants. Metal and wood. Good amount of seating. Outdoor seating too. So many things on tap! Cold brew, wine , beer, sparkling wine, kombucha, etc. Nitro cold brew was tasty. Decaf single pour over was so so. Ham and cheese croissant was quite nice. Not sure if they are made in house our not. Looks like they also do daily soups, salads, and sandwiches. Nice that they have a variety of coffees from different roasters including verve and stumptown.

Kerstin H.

Yelp
This is such an amazing space, with incredible coffee and great baked goods! It's a regular stop for me on my travels south.

Suzanne Z.

Yelp
Bought quart of Salted Caramel ice cream as a gift. They LOVED it. While pricey, a nice treat is sometimes worth it. I would try to avoid going at 2:15pm weekdays as the place was flooded with middle schoolers getting soft ice cream! Not enough staff to wait on everyone.

Carol L.

Yelp
Beautiful shop, very clean and roomy. It even has a few outdoor tables. The coffee and pastries were fresh and delicious. I would choose this location over the one near Lithia Park. It is lovely.

brian d.

Yelp
Possibly the best coffee and coffee shop between SF and Portland. Great people, gorgeous space, incredible baked goods, flawless coffee. Do it.

Paulina D.

Yelp
Beautiful space filled with lots of light, and plants. Re Mix carries a rotating selection of roasters, which is rad if you want to mix it up or try different companies. They also have some solid non-coffee options and baked goods. Come early for the pastries because after noon, the case is mostly crumbs.

Rylie S.

Yelp
Workers are always so friendly and helpful, the coffee is one of my favorite in ashland. Pastries are irresistible and there are so many options. The one difference between remix and mix downtown is remix has more indoor space to meet or study/work but downtown is more walkable and has outdoor seating picnic tables out front. Dutch bros is right around the corner, Starbucks just across the street, but there is a reason people choose remix again and again.

Emily P.

Yelp
Our favorite spot to go for ice cream! The toppings they offer with the soft serve is like nowhere else. It's all fresh and great tasting.

Maxwell M.

Yelp
The variety of drink and treat options is always interesting at Remix. Coffee, tea, pastries, drinks on tap, and soft serve...? It's an eclectic mix (hehe) but I've found that it's a reliably good product and nice customer service. Try the North Star Cone for a summer treat :-)

Aileen H.

Yelp
Best little detour ever. This stop is not too far from I-5 about 1-2 miles and definitely worth it. The Ham & gruyere croissant and the ham and gruyere egg pie. The croissant was so flakey and delicious. The egg was cooked perfectly where it didn't run, but it wasn't over cooked. If you're ever passing by Ashland, make this a stop! You don't regret it :)

Heather S.

Yelp
Remix is my go-to coffee house in Ashland! I am also blessed to live within walking distance. I always order a vanilla latte and it's almost always perfection! They also have baked goods among other things, my go-to baked treat is the pumpkin muffins, and my husband likes the ham and cheese croissants. The Staff are super friendly, and it has a cool fresh vibe inside. Highly recommend giving them a try!! They are always a huge treat for us.

Josh R.

Yelp
Great pastries great coffee slower than hell. Don't come unless you plan to wait 10-15min during any busy time.

Mark M.

Yelp
Mix makes great baked goods but they have now priced us out of going there. We were very steady customers but about $5 for a croissant and a small coffee that costs about as much is over the top.

Emily S.

Yelp
such a cute place!! Re Mix is clean, earthy, and cheerful. The employees were super nice, and they seem to enjoy their job too (which is always reassuring to see). I got the cold brew (from Stumptown Coffee in Portland) on tap, which tasted great. Overall a fun experience and just a short walk from SOU.

Loreen M.

Yelp
Yes, this coffee bar is in the old beanery, but having lived in Corvallis I heard horrific stories about the Beanery owner. This restaurant is part of four restaurants, that I believe are owned by two chefs. The restaurants are Amuse, Flip, Mix downtown, Re-Mix south town. They are the best places in Ashland as far as food, all made from scratch. They are slow and clubby at the south town location, I like to call it "Hob Nob", (shouldn't it be on Nob Hill?) Original Mix is downtown, can be quite busy. They have more to offer in the way of sandwiches, soups, pastries. Kitty corner to them going north on Ashland St. is Flip. Great burgers, grass feed beef, home cut fries and cane sugar soda. Amuse has had it's menu remade for this here pandemic. Lower price points haven't taken away from it's classical preparation, or presentation. When in Ashland partake of luck of the draw, that Ashland has found it's self in.

Yelp
We were in town for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and decided to stop for coffee after a long trip up from central California. We came in the afternoon and there was plenty of seating and outlets available for use. The cafe itself is very cute and clean. I ordered an iced oat milk latte and found it very pleasant and fairly sweet even without added sweetener. Not sure if this is because of the espresso or the oat milk, but either way it was very good. We also had some sort of savory pastry, but I can't remember what it was. It was also quite good. If I lived in the area, I would definitely frequent this place!

Jamie W.

Yelp
Love this place! Great coffee, delicious chai, and super yummy pastries. My only issue was service was a little unfriendly - which was crazy given we came in with a super cute baby - who can be unfriendly to a super cute baby?

Kayce W.

Yelp
Quick stop in here to check it out. Always has Stumptown brewing, but hosts other roasters as well. We enjoyed a chocolate chip cookie (yum), an Italian soda and a pour over of Madcap Roasters. The vibe was relaxed and mellow with lots of light and green and great work spaces. Looking forward to more time here in the future!

Peter E.

Yelp
This is the cutest spot in Ashland to get your cup of coffee or tea. Every time I visit Oregon this is the go to place where I need to get my caffeine. The baristas here are extremely sweet and the outdoor seating is bliss!

Erin K.

Yelp
It's nice! Friendly people, modern sleek design, good coffee. Yelp wants me to day more. Why yelp why? Yelp is dumb. This is silly.

Alex P.

Yelp
Kudos to these guys for staying open in testing times right now, we appreciate it. Window order & pick up only (drinks & food still as great as ever), v happy to continue to support them in a difficult situation for all food related business in town.

R M.

Yelp
Located near SOU, the new Mix coffee shop has the same good pastries and coffee (more coffee options though), but no ice cream or sandwiches. The shop has lots of room with seating inside and out and its own parking lot. The music is a bit loud, interfering some with conversations.

Johnny N.

Yelp
My new favorite spot from the team at Mix Bakery. Nice setting, variety of beverages and those great baked goods! We start our trips off right stopping here!

Gretchen F.

Yelp
Yay! So happy to get this great shop on the south side of town. Great coffee, great matcha!

Rick L.

Yelp
This "locals version" of the popular tourist sweet shop "Mix" (Ashland Plaza) offers light lunch fare and soft serve (two flavors and toppings) along with the same well-made French pastries and espresso drinks. All top notch with friendly service in a classy industrial chic setting. Off-street parking available.

Chris A.

Yelp
Amazing service, great Espresso. They serve Stumptown coffee. We stopped through and found this place by accident-a happy accident. We always look for ham and cheese croissants at cafes because it is one of our favorite breakfast foods as a family. We have had many and this place has had our favorite ever, a ham gruyere and thyme one...YUM!!!

Anthony A.

Yelp
Fantastic coffee, awesome atmosphere and delicious pastries. I would have given it 5 stars however, I am a cold brew drinker. The one thing I cannot understand is if the weather isn't absolutely fantastic, there's no cold brew. People like cold drinks even if it is cold outside!!! I drink cold brew more than I do pour overs, french press or anything else. The subdued acidity is easier on my stomach and it just taste better to me. Please, consider stocking cold brew all the time!

CJ F.

Yelp
Great environment and great coffee. Stumptown provides an excellent roast of beans too.

John P.

Yelp
I like it, but you guys messed up with that pergola that is not protected from the rain. Everybody is going to win if you fix that. Love the soup and the chai.

B W.

Yelp
The food, pastries, and drinks are all expensive, but are good. You really can't go wrong with a Mix Bakery pastry! They also serve a small selection of wine, beer, kombucha, and cocktails. Just remember to ask them to heat up your pastries and most food, otherwise they default to just serving everything cold. They have two sandwhich options, which are super good, but I stopped ordering them. They used to be served with a small side of dark green salad with tasty vinaigrette, which I was happily ordering because the sandwhiches are $8.75 and I felt with the salad it was worth that price. However, recently they haven't been including the salad, so I'm paying the same amount--$10 (including tip)--for a small, artisan sandwhich with a few thinly-sliced pickled beets or carrots. No thanks. That's a rip-off. This was a really disappointing change to the menu. The environment is awesome. I'm glad we finally have a large coffee shop on this side of town with good food options and plenty of seating. It's also got an awesome outside seating area, but there are no outlets out there. So far I haven't had any trouble finding outlets inside, but I've only been coming here summer term, so that might change once the SOU students return in Fall. WiFi is faster than the cheap crap I have at home, so that's a plus. The coffee shop is next to a busy street, and when the large garage windows are rolled up, it can get pretty loud inside, so bring noise-cancelling headphones. Parking can be difficult. I usually ride my bike, but there are no bike racks and VERY FEW nearby structures to attach bikes to it. I usually have to lock my bike up at an electrical meter thing near their bathrooms, but sometimes there are already one or two bikes hooked up there, so I have to go somewhere else in town to study. Finally, the most annoying thing about this place are the little, black flies. I've heard customers complaining about them at least twice, and one lady asked for a fly swatter, but the employer said they didn't have any. He said he had opened the large garage window to let them out, but honestly I think that makes them worse sometimes. They just do not leave you alone, no matter how much you swipe at them. They are so annoying, and it's been a problem all summer whether or not the large windows are open. I don't know what they could do about them, but surely there's something to deter them. It's gross! I remember when Alan Bros Coffee was in this location, they also had fly problems, so maybe it's just this building?? All in all, it's a good spot, but it probably won't be my regular spot anymore. The prices, flies, and lack of bike racks are frustrating. But if you're looking for a clean place to stop by on occasion for good coffee drinks, pastries, plenty of outdoor and indoor seating, and friendly staff, this is a good spot!

Kim K.

Yelp
Have been looking forward to this Southside coffee shop. What a difference from the old Beanery! The place is clean and bright. And with some familiar faces from the downtown location and some new faces as well. Great if you want to beat the tourist crowd... Overall I've really enjoyed it, sitting out on the nicely landscaped deck is great. First few times I went in when it was newly opened I had to leave... Was just so loud! Perhaps it was because it was relatively new and there were a lot of customers chatting away. The last time I went in it wasn't nearly as loud... Hoping the pastry and food options expand...good luck

Max B.

Yelp
Forgetable coffee, condescending employees, made me feel like a bother and gave me that thousand yard stare whenever i asked a question. 2 stars cause the pastries are excellent

Roger W.

Yelp
Great coffee. Alcohol and kombucha on tap. Nice place to work. Very comfortable environment. I wasn't deterred because I wear earplugs, but I agree that the music is a bit loud. But I'll keep coming back!
