We found this hotel by chance while searching for a nearby place to eat, and we’re glad we did. Its convenient location next to a restaurant made it an ideal stop, and we were fortunate to get a room. The atmosphere is cozy, and the rooms are reasonably spacious by Japanese standards. The bath and massage chair were nice surprises that added extra comfort. The room layout could use some improvement—two single beds pushed together take up quite a bit of space, which makes it a bit tight for luggage though we booked twin room. A queen-size bed might be a better option. The lighting is slightly dim, but the bed’s comfort and the blackout curtains ensured an excellent night’s rest. The pillows and mattress are just right—not too soft nor too hard—quite different from other Japanese hotels. While the absence of laundry service might be a drawback for longer stays, this hotel is a fantastic choice for a short visit, offering great value for money. Highly recommended!

Hotel is great but don't use the restaurant or Tully's "breakfast deal" unless you are feeling rich. The local restaurants are fantastic. Good value and good location. Rooms are well designed. And compact. Took a bit of getting used to the limited services. The room cleaning service was great. I got my own coffee and tea and milk. There's no washing machines but could do small things in the room. The restaurant was irritating. However the hotel was good. Quiet, clean and central to downtown Tenmonkan. Recommended

We stayed for 4 nights. The hotel is a short walk from Tenmonkan where all the bars and izakayas are located. The room was very small for 3 single beds. The space was design for 2 single beds. The push in a moveable bed as we booked a room for 3. There was hardly any space to walk in between the beds. The one thing that was nice , there was a bathtub 🛀 , a great pleasure after a long day of walking and shopping. Though there were lots of places to eat, but mostly izakayas and bars. The ramen restaurants were not good at all, we were very disappointed. So we ended up taking the tram to the next town for better quality food that were more reasonably priced. When you get in from the Shinkansen, take the tram to Tenmonkan and its a short walk. The tram (170¥) is cheaper than the bus (270¥). We also took the bus to the Ferry to cross over to Sakurajima. Overall, the hotel is at a good location.

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel and felt so comfortable that I stayed more in my room than visiting the city ! At my checkin the receptionist saw I am a cyclist and he immediately suggested that I leave my bike in the luggage area, without having to request, which is exceptional when you travel by bicycle. First impression are lasting impressions… thank you to housekeeping as well for their great attention to guest needs and to details.

The hotel was located a 2 minute walk from the airport bus stop. It was also close to tram stops and a don quijote across the road. The room was a little small but we managed to make space for 2 large suitcases by moving things around. There is also a massage chair in the room which was a random nice touch. I really recommend the breakfast as there was an all fish option which is great if you're muslim and only eat halal. It gave us the opportunity to try something traditional that I would not have been able to before. Freshly made bonito flakes too! The hotel also has a luggage disposal service as my suitcase broke on the way there, it costed 3300 yen. It was a convenient, clean and safe stay :)

The hotel looked very new, sleek and near to the bus and tram stops. The room was spacious for a solo traveler. It is also near a couple of convenience stores and the shopping arcade, which has a lot of food and shopping. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. It is definitely a hotel I would book again when I revisit Kagoshima!

My favourite hotel in Kagoshima city. Great location: just two bus stops away from the Kagoshimachuo station and a walking distance from the ferry port, where you can catch the ferry to Sakurajima or Yakushima. They offer comfortable rooms, the staff is very nice and helpful. I also highly recommend to buy the breakfast, wich is amazing - in washoku style.
