Remont Oxford Hotel

Stayed in a clean and comfortable room with a tidy bathroom and fresh bedding. The room had nice extras like cookies, tea, and hot chocolate, but the kettle was in very poor condition, so we didn’t use it. Our room (#22) was on the second floor, and carrying luggage up the stairs wasn’t the easiest. We arrived early around 12:30 PM and left our bags at reception since check-in starts at 3 PM. Breakfast was good, with options including a full English breakfast, granola/muesli with milk, and fruit salad with yoghurt. There were also juices, tea, and coffee available. Location-wise, the hotel is about 15 minutes from the city centre by bus, and the bus stop is only a 3-minute walk away, which is convenient. Although the hotel is rated 4 stars, it feels much closer to a 3-star property. The amenities and overall condition of the hotel are quite outdated. Overall, a decent stay with clean rooms and a solid breakfast, but the hotel could benefit from some updates to truly match its 4-star rating. #reviewbyafandi #tripbyafandi

I was blown away by this hotel. Booked the 3 bed room, not expecting acting much, but it was roomy, comfy, clean. Water provided, plenty of Tea and coffee, great staff and a breakfast worthy of a 4* hotel. Huge recommendation.

Great hotel. Better than PremierInn or Travelodge. Ample free parking. Fabulous service. Very clean. Beds super comfortable. Breakfast is amazing. Uber into the centre of Oxford under £5. Had a great 2 night stay here and will definitely come back. Highly recommend the Chinese restaurant 5 minutes walk away for dinner.

Hotel was spotless. The room was a tad small but adequate although there was absolutely no drawer space but there was a small wardrobe but it only had hanging space. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was light and airy - a really pleasant space to have a good breakfast. The buffet was a notch above most that you get. It's a short walk to a bus stop which has frequent service to Oxford town centre. There is good off road parking at the front and rear of the premises. It's about a 10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants in Summertown. The Dew Drop is good. A find for Oxford if you need to take your car.

Relatively inexpensive hotel within easy reach of the city centre. Room was clean and warm. The breakfast was included and quite basic/bland. Staff were friendly.

Positives - Good location. Helpful and polite at reception. Plenty of parking, back and front. Breakfast included. Negatives - Not a lot of toiletries in the bathroom and not great quality. Cracks in the tiles on bathroom floor. Toilet keeps filling unless you go back and flush again. Very loud squeaking bathroom door. Tea and coffee facilities but limited and on 2nd say wasn't replenished. Breakfast is a buffet and the food quite good but kept running out quickly. However, it was nice to stay in a good location, with free parking and breakfast.

This is more a B and B , not 4 star hotel! Booking. Com charged us £ 275 for one night. When we asked them why did you advertise it as a 4 star hotel they did not give us any reply and kept saying contact the third party! After a few months chasing, the hotel finally agreed to pay part of our money back although they have not paid anything yet ! However they said the booking is through Expedia with them and not booking. Com ! It also turned out they received just £ 225 from Expedia and not £275 we paid to booking. Com . It was a total mess up! They passed my booing to another party to pocket part of my money! |Be careful. |Book directly with B&B!!

Clean bedding, towels, comfy beds, well lit rooms. The bathroom bin wasn’t cleaned prior to use. There also was a constant tapping noise throughout the night, not very loud but enough for it to me a disturbance. We were in Room 21 on the 3rd floor. Difficult to say what the noise was. Lots of rooms in a newly renovated property. Squeaky stairs. Friendly, helpful staff and kind to allow us to park the car whilst we visited Oxford.

The Remont is about a 10 minute bus ride into the city center by bus. The bus stop is conveniently located across the street about a 2 minute walk away. Be aware that the buses seem to get full quickly and also do not run exactly on schedule. At times buses are full and will drive right past your stop. A taxi ride to and from the city center is actually quite reasonable and will save you a good amount of time instead of waiting around. Rooms are small and the walls are thin but it is clean and modern. Overall this is a decent hotel for the price. Breakfast, parking, and wifi are included in the rate. Breakfast is buffet style and has good variety. Fried eggs, scrambled eggs, baked beans, sausage, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, fruits, cereals, pastries, bread, yogurt, and fresh squeezed juices. Service at the hotel is efficient and gets the job done but for a bed and breakfast I would not say they go out of their way to be friendly.

Situated just a bit further than ideal for walking, this small and comfortable hotel has a warm and welcoming staff. They're big on the nice touches, such as a well-stocked coffee bar in the room, and complimentary still and sparkling water from Blenham Palace, but breakfast was solid but not remarkable. There's a fair bit of road noise, which can be annoying because the windows need to be used for temperature regulation.

We had a wonderful stay at a place called Remont Oxford Hotel. The Hotel has a style similar to that of the Malmasion chain Hotels, but without the premium. Clean modern and looks newly refurbished. Despite not having a bar, its a great Bed and breakfast style Oxford Hotel that compares well with some of the best Oxford City Hotels. We look forward to staying again at the Remont.
