Great stay and great customer service on arrival. breakfast was good as well with plenty of choices. Location is not too bad, in fact around 30min walk to city. On-site parking was provided. Amenities were just ok. Room was quite small but cozy. I was worried of the busy road at front, but it turned out to be ok for Sunday morning.

It’s not really a hotel, but more like a B&B with some hotel like features. Moving up the luggage to the room on the top floor was rather inconvenient although the receptionist,Alex, was very helpful. Breakfast was ok, but since there isn’t a restaurant in the accommodation, you’ll have to drive out to find food beyond breakfast. Besides the receptionist Alex, I didn’t quite get a warm feeling when we encountered the hosts, which is unusual given our experience in other cities in the UK so far. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

Very happy with the stay for the price. + clean room with modern bathroom and good towels. + free parking and very easy bus into town. + great service on the desk. + breakfast was very good with a variety of options.

To be fair, you get what you pay for. The photos does not do too much justice to what you’re really getting. We got probably the smallest room in the place for $87/night and it comes w simple English type breakfast, but it’s really a no frills type of hotel-ish place. The shower head was very low pressure and ultra small. A cruise ship’s room is probably bigger than this.. I wouldn’t say it’s a 4 star.. definitely not.. probably a 3 star. Great location tho, quiet and bus stop is right there. We had a car so parking wasn’t an issue as well. The front stairs are oddly short in length and height almost like the stairs were made for really small people.. and I’m 5’7” 170 so I’m not that big. One wrong step I’ll probably slip and fall! I feel like ED-209 in the Original Robocop movie at the scene where it’s trying to walk down the stairs and falls down! Go to the back stairs it’s much better if you need to go upstairs which is by the dining area :) Word to the wise.. just keep your expectations down.

We booked this last minute, so paid more than what it is normally listed at. That said, the room was simple and clean, the bed, comfortable and lovely plush towels. We received friendly service at reception. The breakfast was included and satisfactory. While on a busy road, our room was quiet at night.

Positives: the staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast was decent with a great selection of cooked breakfast, granola, cereal, toast, pastries etc.|Water, coffee, tea in room on arrival.|||Negatives: the rooms were dated. Not overly clean. Carpets had iron stain and were thread bare. Doors were dirty with scuff marks and dirt around them. Bathroom was very mouldy in places.|The third pull out bed was appalling. The mattress was very thin and you could feel the bar in your back, not a good sleep. ||Our room really let it down sadly!

A good place to stay in Oxford, about 30 minutes away from the city centre by bus. The bed was comfortable, the room was serviced every day. The full English buffet breakfast, sometimes hot dishes could have been warmer.

Yelp
The Remont is about a 10 minute bus ride into the city center by bus. The bus stop is conveniently located across the street about a 2 minute walk away. Be aware that the buses seem to get full quickly and also do not run exactly on schedule. At times buses are full and will drive right past your stop. A taxi ride to and from the city center is actually quite reasonable and will save you a good amount of time instead of waiting around. Rooms are small and the walls are thin but it is clean and modern. Overall this is a decent hotel for the price. Breakfast, parking, and wifi are included in the rate. Breakfast is buffet style and has good variety. Fried eggs, scrambled eggs, baked beans, sausage, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, fruits, cereals, pastries, bread, yogurt, and fresh squeezed juices. Service at the hotel is efficient and gets the job done but for a bed and breakfast I would not say they go out of their way to be friendly.

Yelp
Situated just a bit further than ideal for walking, this small and comfortable hotel has a warm and welcoming staff. They're big on the nice touches, such as a well-stocked coffee bar in the room, and complimentary still and sparkling water from Blenham Palace, but breakfast was solid but not remarkable. There's a fair bit of road noise, which can be annoying because the windows need to be used for temperature regulation.

Yelp
We had a wonderful stay at a place called Remont Oxford Hotel. The Hotel has a style similar to that of the Malmasion chain Hotels, but without the premium. Clean modern and looks newly refurbished. Despite not having a bar, its a great Bed and breakfast style Oxford Hotel that compares well with some of the best Oxford City Hotels. We look forward to staying again at the Remont.
