Ren Resort

This stay was very disappointing from start to finish. There was no WiFi available at all. In the first room, the air conditioning was not working, the TV did not function, and the sink was clogged. Because of these problems, we were made to change rooms. The second room was only slightly better, but there was still no TV available. Basic amenities were either broken or missing, which shows poor maintenance and management. Breakfast was another negative experience. The waitress was very rude, and when I ordered an omelette, I was given an English breakfast instead. There was no apology or effort to correct the mistake properly. Overall, the service and facilities were below standard. I would not recommend staying here unless there are major improvements.

Rude staffs from night and morning shifts, We complains about the bed being super hard and very uncomfortable to sleep. We Asked stuffs if they can put a layer of blanket for cushions, the stuff replied it’s gonna feel the same, last time you can sleep how come this time you cannot sleep. It will be the last time we going there.

Beautiful boutique hotel with rather spacious rooms! The staff is extremely kind and attentive! The beach is clean and there’s a beautiful sunset to watch. They provide sun chairs and towels which is nice. The breakfast buffet is decent (like a 8/10). The restaurant itself for lunch and dinner is okay but there are better and cheaper options nearby (“Secret Garden” being the top choice, 20m to the side!). There is a huge construction site right next to the hotel. If you’re bothered by noise easily, this will be a bummer. We had the room closest to the site and weren’t bothered much. They don’t work after 6pm and before 7am. On the beach itself you don’t hear much.

This trip was basically a reconnoissance run to see what had become of Otres2 beach. ||Before 2020, this was an excellent destination for a beach vacation. In late 2019, the government widened and paved the beach road (now four-lane highway) and reclaimed beachfront and restaurants from the hotels.||The restaurant is now effectively closed, serving a mediocre breakfast to guests. Not sure what happens after that. It used to be our go-to for dinner, and that expectation was the main reason for staying there this time.||Desk is sporadically manned by very pleasant and helpful staff with limited English. Public areas are clean and well maintained with a few poolside lounge chairs. ||Beachfront room was pleasant, some problems with water and hot water were promptly attended to. Aircon good. View was basically the road with beach in background. Shower floor was dangerously slippery. ||No particular reason for a tourist to stay there now that it is no longer a beachfront resort.

Good boutique hotel in Otres area, the iconic pool along other guests' rooms may not be as welcoming n attractive to other guests esp when those rooms are open. Though, people can still enjoy the sea just right in front of the hotel. A la carte Breakfast is a bit disappointing, not very appetizing, could be more improved on this.

I really enjoyed my stay here, it’s very chill and the staff are all incredibly friendly. The beach is just across the road and the pool is huge and well shaded. There is a simple restaurant for breakfast which is perfect, it’s actually nice that the restaurant isn’t bringing in crowds or hosting karaoke. I’ll be back soon.

Small resort at the end of Marina Road. The rooms are furnished like a double room. Unfortunately there is no real restaurant, you sit on the street with a car and a view of the lake. The breakfast also leaves a lot to be desired. The staff is very nice and friendly trying to help. Unfortunately the hotel has a small problem with cockroaches. If you can make it through an evening without her, that's good.

A perfect place for leisure for both family and couple Great location, very friendly staffs. A beach and sea are just a cross-street in front of the hotel. The reasonable price in this city and the beautiful room with a blue crystal clear cool swimming pool. Highly recommended for all locals and foreigners.
