Hotel is well situated, just a short walk into Aix center. Parking is 25 euro per night and is secure. Our dog stayed too for a fee of 35 per night. For this, we got a doggie bed as well as a food and drink bowl, which was good. Room was large enough, bathroom was decent size and the bed was nice. Also free filtered water on every floor, which was great. Service was pretty good in general. Has a gym which was adequately equipped. However, definitely some issues -|- grout in the shower was missing or mouldy, also very little water pressure|- cleaning in general was not thorough, I don’t think our room was vacuumed the whole time we were there |- drinks at the bar were criminally priced|- hammam did not work on any of the 4 days we were there. We were given free parking as a result (only because my wife complained) but this was a big issue, looked like it had been out of order for a long time|- the view from our room (over 300 euros a night) was to apartments where people could clearly see in. We kept our curtains closed most of the time|- you get a card to exchange at the outdoor pool for a towel. It clearly states that if you lose the card, they will charge you 30 euros!||Overall ok stay, it doesn’t help that we had just come from another 5 star hotel, similarly priced, that was exceptional. For what you pay to stay at the Renaissance, you certainly expect more. Felt like they were trying to nickle and dime you.||Did not try the restaurant or pool area, but pool are actually looked quite nice.|-
