Renaissance Aix-en-Provence Hotel

We spent five nights at this hotel. We were exploring the region for my daughters 25th birthday, Excellent location, literally a few minutes walk to the city Centre.. The rooms are nice sized, we are platinum, but there was no room upgrade available and no lounge at the hotel but they provided breakfast which was a nice spread. ||What sets the hotel apart is the staff. Right at the entrance when they come to take the car to the reception to every member of the breakfast, everybody was smiling all the time and that makes for a very, very pleasant stay. In particular Catherine, the guest relations manager and Melvin, the concierge went out of their way to make us stay wonderful. Our first room had issues and within minutes. Catherine came up to give us an alternate and make sure that we were comfortable. She put the sweetest little balloons and hearts on the day of my daughter’s birthday in the room when we returned. Melvin was just incredible for every village, every little town that we wanted to explore he would talk to us and then by the time we returned from dinner he would leave notes on places to see, things to avoid, restaurants to go to. I have to say, perhaps this was the best concierge I have ever had. He really took the time to understand what we wanted to do and make sure that he gave us copious notes. From top end Michelin star restaurants to home owned three table bistro he ensured we went to the best nicest places. Honestly I don’t remember all the other names but genuinely the staff are among the nicest. ||The only feedback I would give - Given that the parking is owned by the hotel, it was quite expensive or could be better priced for at least for elite members ||Definitely make this your base if you want to explore the region

The location is within walking distance of the city centre, and on-site parking is convenient. The only minor drawback was that the shampoo and conditioner were not refilled during our stay.

This is a gorgeous hotel that sits 5minutes away from the main centre. The best thing about this hotel is undoubtedly its staff who were extremely courteous and welcoming and tried their best to help us settle in and find our way around. Special mention to the concierge and valet staff who have been super friendly. Rooms are large and well laid out and very nicely decorated. Bed was large and very comfortable. Room service choice of food was limited. The car park fee is on the high side but we knew about it before checkin and hence no surprises. Aix is also a lovely town. Hotel is highly recommended

Outstanding hospitality! We were here for 2 days and I felt that each person from the valet to the general manager personally ensure that your stay is excellent. It’s personalized, they helped us with our itinerary, renting a car and everything else to make our experience stand out. Rooms are big and spacious, very well maintained overall. A big thanks to Florence Bezault the Genral manager who personally ensured that we had a wonderful time.

I made reservations for our group of 24 friends and family during a fall trip through France. The Renaissance Aix-en-Provence was an outstanding place to stay in all respects. It is well located within walking distance to town, has excellent restaurant , the Atmosph'r, where three meals are served each day. The breakfast buffet was enormous. We did not try their Michelin restaurant. There are two pools - indoor and outdoor, and a very good gym and spa. Our room was large and immaculate. Best of all was their staff! We had several issues crop up that the concierges were amazingly helpful with - a phone left on the TGV and a passport left in a safe. The staff also assisted with our large bus and portage needs. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent location within 7 - 10 minutes walk to the city center, restaurants and shopping area. The area/room is quiet and our room with king bed had 2 chairs and table with small desk. The staff is welcoming with hotel providing valet parking at a daily charge that was very convenient for us. |The room was cleaned daily and well maintained with in room locker. |Hotel restaurant provided well options for the breakfast at a charge, we enjoyed it for the morning convenance before heading out. Hotel also has bar and lounge plus breakfast/dinner.

Great hotel. Please offer Croissants and pastry from Land & Monkeys for breakfast so we can have vegan options for Breakfast. Would be amazing! Also please introduce vegan vegetarian options on hotel menu. Walking distance to city centre. Valet parking and rooms are spacious.

I visited here with friends while on vacation. We stayed 3 nights. The hotel was clean and the hotel front desk and lobby staff were friendly. The room was clean, nice and spacious. The bathroom was clean. We ate breakfast at the hotel buffet every morning and the staff there showed us great service. We did have to pay for the breakfast but it was very convenient and had some options that we could enjoy. The hotel is not far from the city center. So we walked there a few evenings to hang out or grab dinner. One day we ordered dinner from the hotel bar area and the smash burger and fries were quite tasty. All in all this hotel exceeded my expectations.
