The hotel lobby was nice, all service was attentive, welcoming and friendly. We especially appreciated Doug and Tiffany at the two bars in the lobby, they had great recommendations and made us feel at home. The hotel room was spacious. Bed was slightly uncomfortable, but it’s a hotel room. It was quiet, even though we were close to the elevator. There was also a wedding going on, which wasn’t disruptive to anyone else. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Everything was fresh and it had a large variety, my husband only commented that he wished the biscuits had been warm. For anyone, you know this is in one of the most populated highway areas of Orlando so of course, driving sucked, we went to Aquatica, which I do not recommend it because as awful. Our host hotel stay was nice, we enjoyed the people and the food. The pool area was comfortable and not too overcrowded. The bar was welcoming and friendly.

Amazing resort in a great location! The hotel has a very calm and peaceful vibe with the atrium! This is the second time I have stayed here and both experiences have been great. The rooms that have an interior view look out onto the atrium. The rooms have a lot of space and the bathroom even has 2 vanity's which is great! The rooms are always clean and the cleaning staff is very nice and helpful. The pool is nice and has lots of seating. There are multiple very good restaurants and the breakfast buffet even though expensive is amazing! The staff is all very friendly and goes above and beyond to make your experience great!

I wanted to share my experience from my recent stay at your hotel (June 19–23), which unfortunately turned out to be one of the most stressful hotel stays I’ve had in years. I checked in just after midnight on June 19. I was exhausted from traveling and just wanted to settle in and rest. But while pulling the curtain open in room 3068, I saw a cockroach crawling across the carpet. I ducked and screamed, and my boyfriend had to kill it. We called the front desk right away, and thankfully someone helped us move to room 4104 around 1 AM — but by then, the night was already ruined. I had to wake up at 7 AM for a seminar the next morning, so getting barely any sleep was not a great start. On top of that, the bathtub in 3068 looked pretty bad — the paint was peeling and it looked dirty and worn. It made me uncomfortable even using it. Honestly, I’ve stayed in budget hotels before, and this tub was below even those standards. The next day, both my boyfriend and I noticed we had bug bites. I had several on my hand, under my ear, and between my fingers. He had some on his arms and legs. It was really uncomfortable and itchy. We reported it again and were asked to pack up and move — again — to room 1099. We tried to make the best of it, but on the night of June 22, after coming back from dinner, we were kept up by this awful mechanical noise. It sounded like a chain or some kind of motor near the elevator — just on and off, loud enough to keep us awake for a long time. We called the front desk and were told there were no more available rooms because the hotel was full. Again, the staff was nice, but we couldn’t do anything about the noise and didn’t fall asleep until around 2 or 3 AM. We had to be up early again the next day for the last day of our seminar. By the end of the trip, I was just drained — physically and emotionally. I barely slept for days. I came hoping for a decent place to stay while attending a professional event, and instead, it was a constant cycle of bugs, bites, bad sleep, and packing up over and over. I’m really disappointed by the entire experience.

This hotel is not for Disney World or Universal Studios. The shuttle schedule benefits only Sea World, not the other two. rSo for me, the location I give 1 star for not close or convenient for two most popular brands parks. The room is alright, but with small 43 inches LCD old LG TV. The view is terrible, you can't see anything. No fireworks from disney or anything. The pool view is partical view and the pool is just so so, I won't bother to use. The room internet speed is slow, sometime disconnected by itself. And the shelve door always gave a shaking sound bothering me a lot. The neighbor, often making noise and drives me crazy. The isolation of sound is poor for this hotel. I have no clue what the hell they doing next door. The big plus is the big mirror in living room, easier for me to check myself. And the chair with wheels that I can easilly move around while sitting. Sofa is not facing TV, so pretty useless, I will have to lie in bed for watching TV. No super good food around here, and you have to either use uber going anywhere else for food or use doordash order food. On site food price is ridiculous. The given two alcohol is useless for me as a non alcoholic. And they charge that on resort fee and taxes. I don't have a car otherwise I need pay for parking as well. The layout inside the hotel is pretty much Luxor to me. It's an alright hotel, but I guess I booked the wrong hotel for my trip. Update: It doesn’t even have hair dryer in the room, and I had to call room service to get one. The guy working at bell service is a guy hating his job. No words and shitty attitude.

TL;DR BAIT AND SWITCH PRICING, BUYER BEWARE! I cannot rate more than one star, because this place is incredibly dishonest. I checked in and my credit card was charged ~$1100 for my 8 night stay, the price of my reservation + parking and incidental charge, there was no problem whatsoever upon check in and I stayed my first night. The second day I am here, I receive a note under my door asking me to go to the service counter. I am informed that my credit card has been declined. Which is weird, because it was not declined yesterday. I was then informed that the actual price of my stay is over $1600 because there is a resort fee as well. I was not billed for the resort fee initially, and suddenly on my second day here there is magically an additional $500 bill. I was informed that my stay had been shortened 4 full days because that is all the hotel had authorized on the card to reserve. NONE OF THIS WAS COMMUNICATED TO ME ON CHECK IN. My concierge gave me a quote for $776 for the full 8 night stay here, and now somehow we have arrived at billing me for over twice that price. What's more is this updated price that the front desk quoted me is ~$1600, but there is over $3100 worth of charges on my card. This is so far beyond unacceptable I cant even believe it. This is an insane bait and switch, this is an unbelievably dishonest establishment and they should truly be ashamed of themselves. The internet access here is also complete garbage and you cant even stream video. What an absolute joke this place is. "resort"

Stayed here recently on a business trip. My wife and I spent the first night in a balcony room. The room was spacious but extremely hot. The a/c never stopped running all night. Thermostat was set to 67 (lowest it could go) Room never got below 75. Went to the front desk the next morning and asking to change rooms. They instead sent a maintenance man in to repair the problem. He "reset" the thermostat, which I knew would not help because the unit ran all night the night before. After six hours away we returned to a hot room. Went back and asked to be moved or check out. They moved us to another room. A smaller room, no balcony. I did notice a $10 reduction on our bill. (Felt it should have been a better discount or an upgrade after having a miserable night the night before). The new room was cooler. Restaurants and bar staff were exceptional. Very friendly and provided excellent service. Overall just disappointed to have spent close to $700 for a two night stay that started off miserable and being downgraded to a smaller room. Didn't feel it should have been necessary to ask more than once to have such a simple problem resolved.

Stayed for 2 nights in june 2025 while visiting Sea World (day 2). The hotel is perfectly located about 5 minute walk over the parking lot to Sea World. With the hotel you get some benefit card to Sea World offering some % rebate for souvernirs and lunch. Also 2 welcome drinks free of choice. Hotel entrance gives a nice impression, huge inside central area. Pool is very nice, large, and there is also a kid area with some easy slides for kids 10 years old and younger. We had a family balcony towards the park which is highly recommended - you can watch the park drone show/fireworks every night at 9 from your room / balcony. Nice food and OK prices although on the high end. Smooth parking - self or valet parking located just a few steps from the hotel.

This hotel has excellent facilities and offers a very comfortable stay. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the service is thoughtful and attentive. The breakfast is rich and varied, with different options every day to suit all tastes. The hotel also has a very large swimming pool with a beautiful environment — perfect for relaxing and swimming. The location is incredibly convenient — it’s very close to the Disney parks and the outlet mall. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby offering a wide range of cuisines. Plus, the hotel provides daily shuttle buses to the parks, which makes getting around super easy. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely come again!👍🌹❤️

Yelp
So let me start by saying that I have stayed here on two separate occasions: once with my family a few years back and over this past 4th of July weekend. Both time I was really pleased. This past 4th if July my husband and I decided over brunch with another couple to sporadically take off and go to Disney for 4th of July (this was decided on July 2nd). We got online expecting to get a crappy motel for jacked up holiday prices but we're thrilled when this was available and a fraction of what we we were expecting (I often prefer to stay out by Sea World as it is usually a little les busy and a lot more quiet). And this is legitimately right across from Sea World - so if you're headed there I don't know if there's a better option. It was perfect! I had been here before a few yeares earlier and there had been a renovation since. The lobby is impressive, clean, imposing but in a good way. There is a full service Starbucks, FedEx, and other shops in case you forgot anything. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful (especially for a night staff-we got in very late). The only way I would suggest an improvement is that I would suggest an hour or so for an "adult swim" or quiet hours at the pool. Our room was overlooked the pool and it was busy with kids from open till close with music playing (which is actually a really nice feature that we enjoyed but it makes the kids want to yell over it and at midnight it's a little much). My only other complaint was that the beds were very firm. But that's a personal preference for me-I just like a softer bed and that's not enough for me to complain about. Can't please everyone with that, just a heads up if you prefer a medium or soft mattress.

Yelp
Where to start, because we really really want to love this place. It is conveniently located across the street from Sea World and very close to places like Discovery Cove, Aquatica...which is awesome. However, as you can see from the pictures, the headboards are absolutely disgusting. I don't know what is going on with them, but they are gross! The slide hours are clearly posted as being open from 9 am - 9 pm. We tried around 4:30 and closer to 6 in which it was closed both times. Our kids were very disappointed and I feel like a lot of money is being spent here, this should be open as posted. Nothing but issues with dinner. The first time we tried to eat the kitchen apparently had closed early, so we wound up with Papa Johns (not exactly what we are looking for when on vacation). The second night dinner service was absolutely horrific. We sat down and the server said he would be right with us, it took 15 minutes for him to come back for a drink order. Another 20!!! minutes went by and we finally got our drinks and placed our order. We ordered a kids quesadilla, and wings. It took another 30 minutes to get easy to make / fast cooking bar food in which the kids meal was screwed up. We couldn't even complain because the waiter never came back. After an hour and a half I went up to the podium and said give me my bill or I'm walking. This got their attention and the bill was brought over promptly. An hour and a half for a beer, wings, and kids quesadilla! The table behind us complained and got the meal compensated, and the one in front of us also had issues. I wanted to complain but wasn't going to waste anymore time and just paid the bill via our room. This is not how we want to waste time on vacation. A similar thing happened at the pool side bar and grill. We got frustrated after sitting there for 20 minutes and ended up ordering from the bar instead of waiting on the waiter. We were on site during March Madness so I enjoy watching the games between things. When the kids were resting, napping, or sleeping the TV in the room was broken. Yea, I could see what was going on but all the horizontal lines in the broken TV shouldn't be there. This isn't a cheap hotel, things should be right. On another positive note, the breakfast buffet was awesome! With all that being said, I do appreciate the manager trying to help from the previous years issues. The treats that were delivered to the room were delicious, but man were we hoping for a much better stay for the second time around. Especially for the price.

Yelp
Lovely staff. Beautiful property. I loved the pool fountains and outdoors. Your bar at the pool had delicious fish tacos and tea. Great staff. I loved my room . My view of sunsets, deep tub!! My bed was so comfortable and pillow were divine! I slept so well!!

Yelp
The parking situation was challenging during the conference event, with limited options available except to pay the extra for valet. Check-in was smooth, but the trek to the room from the elevators felt like a marathon, especially lugging a roller bag through thick carpeting. On a brighter note, the upper bar area impressed with its excellent food and service, albeit at prices typical for a tourist hotspot. However, the room itself left something to be desired - the overpowering smell of bleach was off-putting, and the outdated decor could use a refresh.

Yelp
Throughly enjoyed my stay here! The hotel is an excellent place to stay of you're visiting Sea World. You can just walk across the road and through the parking lot and you're at the grounds of Sea World. I lucked up and got a room facing Sea World's Park. The views were very nice. The room was spacious and well appointed too. The layout is an all suite style with a huge bathroom, comfortable king-sized bed (or two queens depending on your reservation), and a living room space. There is also an In-room fridge and safe. Enough to sleep at least 4 people comfortably for sure. All rooms are arranged around a central atrium. The atrium contains the check in desk, conference room facilities and a convenience store. There is also a travel desk with discount tickets to Sea World and a concierge to answer questions you may have. Once in the atrium, there are a couple of restaurant and bar options within the hotel, with the poolside grill restaurant being my favorite. No to mention, the pool area was very relaxing and like an oasis. A great place to unwind after the day or just relax. In all, a great hotel. Proximity to Sea World is excellent. However there isn't much else to do in the area with limited dining and shopping options within walking distance. A taxi or Uber/Lyft will be required . Other than this, you can't go wrong staying here.

Yelp
We've stayed twice at this hotel and have had a great experience both times. We like staying here because you can walk to seaworld! They have a great pool and splash of area for the kids. Although, the splash pad and water playground need a little updating. The food at the provisions shop was also excellent when in a pinch for the kids! It is a large hotel so be prepared to walk a good distance to get to your actual room. We stayed in a double bed room and a king room with a pullout. The rooms seem much bigger in the king rooms and was much more comfortable for our family or 4!You truly cannot beat this place though if you're planning a trip to seaworld for the sake of convenience!

Yelp
Twice a year I am at the Renaissance Resort for a convention and the staff at the Renaissance are as gracious as they can be for 208,000 Realtors. Depending on the suite the rooms can be converted into an office and meeting place with foldable Murphy beds. The overall feel of this location is a little dated but still an idea for visitors and convention attendees to lay your head. I noticed if you I don't book the room well in advance under the group rate, the Renaissance will book out and the group rate rooms are not the best. Therefore I always have to upgrade for a descent view. The lay of the land can be tricky if your not familiar with the Renaissance layout. However the accessibility is nice in comparison to larger venues. At any given time you can get from one part of the meeting rooms to the other in under 5-10 minutes depending on your start point. Again nothing is terrible but also nothing is extraordinary. Something to note is that they do charge 50.00 for valet during convention and the group rate of half off parking unfortunately does not apply to valet.

Yelp
Don't even know where to start.... I booked this hotel since we were visiting Orlando,FL. Upon arrival I was left speechless when I walked in and saw their high ceilings and beautiful waterfall-fountain. We went to the front desk and the guy who helped us was amiable, kind, polite and just amazing. They gave us four redemption cards since we booked two rooms for drinks from the bar and I think that's a great way to thank their guests for booking with them. We stayed on the fourth floor and we had views to the SeaWorld park which was epic. Additionally, our rooms were very big and cozy, the balcony is huge and it even has some chairs so you can sit in the mornings with your coffee and enjoy the view. Will definitely book again with them in the future. Thank you for making this stay a great one.

Yelp
We love love love this place! We have only been able to stay here once and it was my husband (boyfriend at the time) first time staying at a hostal in another city together and it did not fail to impress. There's nothing bad to say about this place. The service, the area, the cleaning and so much more is just perfect. We haven't been able to stay here again as it's gotten a bit too expensive for us to be able to book again but it's our wish to stay again here. It's an amazing hotel!

Yelp
I was here for a planner conference. So, this review is not for a hotel room. It is only for conference rooms and parking, catering food and the open hotels areas. The hotel itself is several floors high with balconies facing the inside of the lobby. The conference rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors on the hotel. The ones on the 2nd floor are in alphabetical order and left to right and are of large size with water coolers with glass cups on a tray for you to use. The are several folding tables set up with chairs. The other conference rooms on the 1st floor are large and there are doors that open in between the rooms to make the rooms larger or smaller. The room I was in, was made up or 6 rooms put together. There was ample staff to handle the 350 people for the 2-day planner conference I attended. There was a snap foo with the rooms being set up the 1st night as there was other groups in the rooms before we were able to get in, so it set my group way behind in setting up., Although again there was a large almost of personnel to set us up, it was roughly 2 hour to 2 1/2 hours later than we thought. The chairs in the conference area were comfortable. There was ample seating in several areas of the hotel. We had a catering lunch on the second day which consisted of a taco bar and a slider bar. I enjoyed the slider bar that included several different types of cheeses for the burgers, pickles, bacon, tomatoes, lettuce. There were also a few different palate cleaning cheeses. Drinks were water bottles and sodas. The problem I flet here was parking, parking, parking, although I thought it was ample the price was out of control 36.00 per day plus taxes is entirely too much for people attending conference in the hotel. I was able to go to the front desk on the second day and explain I was at a conference there for a pass for parking but at 1st they wanted a room number, after I explained I wasn't staying here, it took a little talking but I was able to get one. Afterall ok but not fabulous for 5 stars.

Yelp
I stayed here one night to attend a conference for work because I worked most of the time, so I did not experience all the amenities. The rooms and ballrooms were all clean and well maintained. This hotel is very close to the front entrance of seaworld. From what I could tell, the pool and water slides were very family friendly. It is a resort, so be prepared to pay resort fees and a daily parking fee. Overall, no one from my group had any complaints about the service we received. I would certainly like to return with my family and enjoy the resort.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel without a doubt. We had the corner junior suite with a king bed and seating area with the double pull out bed. The view from the room offered a nightly show of the fireworks from sea world. There are about 3 or 4 restaurants located on the property as well as a a few pools, hot tub (out of order on my visit) and a play area for the kids. My kiddos were well entertained with the pool play area. I enjoyed my stay but I would have loved a microwave inside the room. I'm unsure if this a scheme set up by the hotel to get you to order from the restaurant or not (lol if you get the reference) I did notice some dust behind a lamp in my room and under the bench in front the bed but I didn't complain. Housekeeping were very nice and accommodating whenever we needed extra toiletries, towels, and bedding. Overall, I would stay here again. The hotel is near a lot of shops, restaurants, the mall, premium outlet, and other theme park attractions. My only reason to minus a star was, I left my physical Marriott bonvoy card at home but I had it available on Apple Pay. The main hotel would not accept apply pay to check in/out or they were not equipped with the technology but the other shops within the hotel does accept Apple Pay. Just a heads up if you are a digital card user, don't forget to pack your bonvoy card. I lost out on a lot of points during my 4 night stay. I also booked through a 3rd party site because when attempting to book through the hotel, the junior suite was not available, it was only available on the 3rd party site for my dates of travel and the space was needed as no other hotel in the area could accommodate the space we needed. Happy travels and enjoy.

Yelp
Wow! All I can say is WOW! This Marriott property has to be one of the best properties I have ever stayed at! The rooms are very spacious, the most accessible hotel I have stayed in to date, although it would be nice if the carpet was removed from the conference areas as I explained to the general manager. The staff was PHENOMENAL! They couldn't do enough to help, from the valet upon arrival to the concierge, amazing front desk staff and housekeeping! I felt like I was visiting my family during this 4 day conference. The staff in the Starbucks cafe and during the food service at the conference was so accommodating and went out of their way to ensure everyone was well attended too. They went above and beyond to make the stay fantastic! I have asked that the conference be held here every year and for it to be longer! I can't wait to go back and stay at this hotel again. It was truly a pleasure every single day of my stay! Very modern, great pool, lots of accessible areas for hanging out and socializing! The only drawback are the fees that most hotels in the area have imposed on guests. The parking and daily resort fees are truly excessive per day and I think Marriott should seriously consider tapering these for their loyal BONVOY guests. Overall this location was amazing! Thanks for making me feel like family!

Yelp
I attended a conference here at Renaissance Seaworld. I didn't expect much of the food since it's hotel food in a conference room but I was wrong. The menu consisted of filament yawn, chicken, salad, tomato soup. All were amazing. They also had a slew off bite size desserts which included cheesecake and tarts. The ambience of the hotel was very welcoming. The service staff was also great. I would love to come back here. You have to pay for daily parking which is at least $35 per day.

Yelp
The most I can give is three stars as this trip was not up to Marriott standards, and my husband is Titanium Elite for Life, so we've stayed at a lot of Marriott properties. Requested Early Check in which usually isn't an issue, however the hotel apparently allowed many of the Cheer/Dance families here prior to our arrival, late check out. We we given keys after the regular check in time after constant rechecking with the front desk. We had to shower and dress for a business dinner slated for 5:30pm, very frustrated! Why on earth allow late check out when a huge conference was trying to check in?? Poor planning on their part. While husband was at conference off site I went to fill ice and came back to a non working room key. Security finally let me back in and I had to go back to front desk to reactivate my key. Was treated like I was "stealing" the room key as only my husbands name was on the reservation despite me providing my drivers license with matching address to my husband. Have NEVER encountered such a thing at any other property. Went down for lunch at a new eating establishment (without seating other than on small high bar) and paid $30 for a reheated beef dish and iced tea...bland and barely warm. Would not recommend. Paid for self parking and you used your room key to open the gate...three cars lined up and none of us could get out as the cards were not working. Finally followed a bus out of the lot by tailgating. This might have been considered a multi star property at one time but it is very dated, very expensive and honestly not worth the money. Add: beds are sorely in need of replacement...very uncomfortable WiFi is not strong nor reliable. If you're thinking of working online from your room SAVE OFTEN! You will get kicked off.

Yelp
Beautiful resort. Pool area was neat, clean and welcoming. The pool bar was perfectly place right next to the pool with great food, drinks and service. Breakfast was delicious with amazing service from Thomas. The room was not so much. Bathroom was dirty with a moldy toilet. Not enough towels and not enough cabinetry to unpack your clothes into. Also not enough receptacles for your technology. And this was a suit! Front desk was amazing and personable helping in every way. I was shocked to learn I was overcharged $300 for valet, so always check your bill before checking out. There is no oversight for accuracy. As an Elite member I am afforded a 2:00 pm check out but at 10:00am I was called and asked to leave by 10:30 so they could make up the room for the next guest. WOW. I have not ever been rush out of my room in my entire life. I am afraid I cannot recommend this hotel.

Yelp
I stayed here recently for a conference. I'll start with the pros. My room was very large. There was a king size bed, a large sofa that turned into a bed, and an arm chair. There was also a desk, full-size mirror and television. The bathroom had two sinks. The pool isn't terribly special but it has a nice bar and restaurant next to the pool and the splash area for kids is quite outstanding. There was a small splash area with a tiny slide for toddlers and then there was a bigger, splash area with two larger slides. My five-year-old was very happy at both. Also, as a Marriott Bonvoy elite member I was very happy that my room was ready early. The cons. The parking here is atrocious. It is $36 a day to self park and $50 a day to valet park. I'm pretty sure the reason they do this so that people don't park here and walk across the street to Sea World but those parking rates are highway robbery. Additionally, many hotels in the area offer courtesy valet for people with a disability placard but this hotel does no,t so if there are no accessible parking spots in the self park, you will have quite a walk or you will be paying $50 a day for valet. So not only is the parking rate absolutely insane, but the parking isn't terribly convenient either. We also had some issue with the valet in that they weren't very friendly and they weren't well organized in moving people through and pulling those who needed to stop over to the side. I don't love the vibe in the lobby. It feels a lot like an airport. It's also extremely loud and you can hear the noises from the lobby in your room. The check-in line was extremely long upon arrival, so I highly recommend using mobile key. If you are Bonvoy Elite, there is a separate line that will speed things up for you. There were also inconsistencies at check in. Most of the other people at the conference were given 2 drink tickets at check in for the bar. I'm elite and did not receive these. The food at the convention was also very hit or miss. They had continental breakfast until 8:30am, but by 8:15 there was nothing left but hot water and they wouldn't refill it. We had a reception one night from 5-6pm. There were tortilla chips, salsa, queso, and guac. I went to get a drink first. After getting my drink I go to get the chips and they are out. I ask if they are brining out more and they say no. So no chips left after 15 minutes, but tons of salsa, guac, and cheese to put on nothing? The convention dinner was good, albeit strange with Moroccan chicken, Italian pasta, and Indian bread. The breakfast was atrocious with burnt bacon, under scrambled eggs, and hasbrowns so over cooked it was nothinig but crust. Overall the room was nice and the location great for Sea World or International Drive attractions, but the food and service are real hit or miss.

Visited here during the cheezit bowl. Was not aware of the busy weekend but we had a pleasant stay! Check in was a breeze. The valet team helps to load you bags on the cart and escort them to your room. The hotel has a water park/pool/play area for the kids. Nice gym/workout area with peloton bikes, a bar, upscale Restaurant, and a coffee/snack store that sells Starbucks. It's across the street from SeaWorld. The reason for the 4 stars was the room can benefit from a microwave. There is a microwave area in the lobby near the gym area....but it's too much walking to heat up your meal then back to your room. Other than this...I would consider staying here again when I'm in the area.

Yelp
I absolutely enjoyed this visit Thomas was very inviting in the breakfast area ... the pool are was closed for maintenance so that was disappointing otherwise this review would have gotten 5 stars

Yelp
Nice hotel, great service, comfortable rooms. Unless you like to hear people laughing all night, be sure to get a room that doesn't overlook the atrium. I stayed on a business trip for a conference there and was hoping for a quiet room to rest at night. I get it, it's Orlando and SeaWorld so there are lots of small children around. My kids are grown so I doubt I would stay there again unless I have to for a conference again.

Yelp
This is a very nice hotel, great for corporate events (there were a few different groups there when we stayed). The only odd thing is their coffee shop and how it is hidden behind a weird graphic wall. Rooms are spacious and everything worked as it should. Pool was very nice and bar food was pretty decent. We had a meeting and the food and snacks were all delicious too. They lose points for the complimentary shuttle that only goes to universal at 8:30am and 10:30am, making it not convenient to use.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stayed here during a conference my work had which we helped out with a couple weeks ago. We both really enjoyed the vibe and atmosphere of the hotel. We really liked how everything was centered in the main atrium area and even some of the rooms faced the inside. Also, the entire hotel staff was very friendly! Everywhere we went someone always said hi to us. During the conference we had the hotel a/v staff helping us and they were phenomenal! The room we stayed in was a corner king junior suite. The room was huge! Lots of space. However, the bed and most of the sitting areas were very uncomfortable. The bed felt like a slab of stone and was not easy to sleep on. Additionally the tub/shower combo was incredibly dangerous! The tub was so slippery and didn't have bath mat or anything to add in to provide a non-slip surface. The first time I used it I almost slipped getting out of the tub. Personally I don't think we would stay here again unless our company ever decided to have another conference here. But it is still a neat place overall.

Yelp
This hotel was absolutely amazing. When our family walked in, we were immediately taken aback with how grand it was inside. There are ten floors, with the top 8 used for the rooms. Our balcony faced the inside of the lobby which I thought was really cool. Hotel staff helps you bring the luggage to your room as they don't hand out the luggage caddies to the guests. Check in was done through my phone and I had a mobile key as well, although you do need a physical key for parking, so I had to ask for one, no big deal. Parking is NOT free. $30/day for self parking and $40/day for valet, that was one of the only downfalls. At this hotel there are several bars, restaurants, and a little food market with snacks and Starbucks (not a full menu). The pool was awesome. Super big! They also have a hot tub and an awesome splash pad with slides for toddlers and older kids. Honestly, this area is what sold me while hotel shopping for our stay in Orlando. The kids had a blast (ages 10, 7, and 10 months). They also have a huge play area with oversized games such as chess and connect 4. There is a game room on site and we saw a pool table and foosball table outside. No microwaves in the rooms, so if you need one, you have to go all the way down to the lobby to use one. This was inconvenient as we were on the 7th floor, but it wouldn't change my rating of the hotel. Pack and play for babies available upon request. Located across the street from Aquatica and Seaworld, but I'd stay here again even if we were going to Disney or Universal.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel, super friendly staff & awesome swimming pool. We live in Orlando but plan to come back just for a little staycation - we had so much fun at the pool & splash pad. Only downside for me was paying so much for parking, but around the attractions it's to be expected.

Yelp
The lobby is nice, staff is super friendly. Came here first with my ex for the pool party on Memorial Day 2022, food at the pool bar was great. Live music. I returned back a few weeks ago, now they have opened a water park. Parking is $36 heads up. Right across the street from seaworld.

Yelp
Awesome place to stay. Just around the corner from sea world. Beautiful location for a conference. Good food great service. Many excellent restaurants to choose from. Great bar area to watch sports or relax.

Yelp
Wonderful staff. Everyone genuinely happy. All the facilities you would expect. Would stay here again.

Yelp
Besides the cold weather, cold pools and even colder kids splash zone, this was a descent stay. The hotel rooms were nice and elegant. The interior design was beautiful. I just expected to see or feel as though I was staying at a theme park /themed resort. Nothing about where we stayed resembled sea world. It was still very lovely, family oriented and overall a great getaway.

Yelp
Growing up in Orlando, I never had much of a reason or opportunity to stay at some of the hotels in the area. I was happy to had the opportunity to stay here for work and a conference that they had in the hotel. The hotel is very 1990s and with a big middle courtyard opening and balconies that face it. The rooms were clean and spacious. Amenities here were fine but not stellar. Parking is not free here and is included in your room charges. Service by the conference staff was wonderful. Front desk on the other hand was slow and inefficient.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here! The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The pool area is wonderful. In the back of the pool there's oversized games like chess, and jenga. Our room was a decent size and the bed was comfy. We did have a balcony, but our view was less to be desired...but that didn't change our experience. All staff was great! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. All restaurants were so delicious! The room service one, Mist, and the pool bar...we didn't eat one thing we didn't like! Everything was so fresh and flavorful. We agreed that we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Yelp
Rooms are out dated and a little run down. The lobby does smell good. Spa was a mess they ruined my massage experience by having to cancel and made me go to another hotel to get a massage. Then come to find out Valet stole my air pods and asked me to go return my keys because that was a new procedure to check out. They made a fool out of me, humiliated me and stole my $250 air pods! Mind you the hotel did absolutely nothing to help.

Yelp
Amenities were as expected. However, my room was very dirty with drops of dried pee on the toilet, toothpaste in the bathtub, smears of oily handprints on the tables, etc. There was also a large group of at least 50 people who came in and were making an unreasonable amount of noise at 1am and I was due to give a work presentation the next day but couldn't sleep because of the noise. I'm disappointed. that's all I'm going to say.

Tyler S.

Yelp
Extremely rude valet, told us to go around the entire block to get to the self parking when we were trying to check in with all our luggage. Because we wouldn't use there shitty service. Then we had to walk with 15 bags from their damn parking lot from the side of the hotel all the way around to the front to the front desk. Overall hotel is pretty solid besides these two weirdos.

Yelp
We've been coming to this hotel for years. It's located opposite Sea World. We live about 40 miles away, and like to pop down, go to Sea World and use points to stay over at the Renaissance. However, I have to say the value has certainly gone downhill recently. We stayed there yesterday and the parking is now an eye-watering $36 per night. This is on top of a hefty $40 resort fee. After tax you're expected to pay $80 each day on top of the room rate for parking and resort fee. The hotel is quite nice but really nothing special. The pool bar closed at 6 pm which was a pity. And the beer in the lobby bar was only so so. This last stay has spurred us into action. It seems we can stay next door at the Hilton property, which doesn't have a resort fee and parking is only $12 per night. As a Platinum Bonvoy member I can see Hilton in my future!

Yelp
Very large hotel with comfortable size rooms. Service staff are really friendly. Location is ideal if you want to go to Seaworld, attend conferences at the JW, shopping at the outlets, IKEA and Millenia mall. If you stay in a room with a window facing the NW direction you can see fireworks at Epcot and Disney World at night. Check each respective theme park's fireworks schedule. The inconvenience of staying here is if you need to order food delivery, most places are closed until the late afternoon. Hotel room service for food is also closed from 11am - 5pm, not sure if this is due to Covid restrictions, but very inconvenient if you need food delivered to the room. Other than that, very comfortable stay. Starbucks is just downstairs and opens at 6am - 4pm for your caffeine fix. Has a nice small gym on the 1st floor.

Yelp
I stayed here from 7/3-13/2021. I really enjoyed my stay here. Staff was very friendly and always answered my text quickly. They took care of all my needs/ concerns in a timely manner. I enjoyed my stay here, and will definitely visit again.

Yelp
Overall, a very solid spot. The atrium of this hotel is visually incredible. You ride up to your room in glass elevators and can see the restaurants and bars, etc. down below. It's just a massive interior space. All of the staff, from the front desk to the valets, were top notch. There's a full-size Starbucks inside, a gift shop, a huge bar in the middle of the atrium, a good-sized workout facility, rental car services, etc. The room was perfectly fine but housekeeping was pretty weak and didn't clean the room as well as could be expected. Also, the hotel hallways and elevators definitely could have used some more attention as sloppy guests left trash, plates, etc. to be collected and these items weren't always timely picked up. If you're headed to SeaWorld, you could not pick a better spot. It's literally across the street and maybe a 5 to 7 minute walk, primarily across the SeaWorld parking lot. No need to drive whatsoever. Overall, I was very pleased and would gladly stay here again.

Yelp
I'm giving this hotel three stars just for its proximity to SeaWorld which is literally right across the street. You can definitely just walk over. It's probably the best hotel/theme park location I've been to. With that being said, the hotel is really big and nice. However, there was some type of construction noise going on while we were there that kept waking us up. Also my husband and I both felt like the mattress was hard as a rock. The room was very spacious and clean. It's a pity the mattress is so hard. That will prevent us from returning because it hurt our back. Between being woke up and the hard mattress, it doesn't matter how clean or nice the hotel is.

Yelp
Absolutely loved my stay here at the Renaissance. Stayed here for 5 nights and ended every night with the beautiful view of the sunset down the mountains on the 10th floor. The hotel has a lot of different amenities from gift shops to ice cream stores to superb customer service, they really have it all. Shout-out to the cucumber and ginger infused water! Have to point out the gym which was absolutely amazing with so many different kinds of equipment and a dance/yoga studio with a barre! I have never seen a hotel with this extensive of a gym unit - it was fantastic! The rooms are also huge, at least in the 10th floor, and are fairly modern. Also the elevators are transparent - I loved watching the open-space lobby below. The whole hotel just seem so big and welcoming, fantastic stay and highly recommend if in Orlando. Also it's food that they cater is pretty solid too!

Yelp
Absolutely wonderful hotel! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Every interaction we had with staff was a positive one. The hotel lobby is so pretty and spacious. The rooms were quiet and clean. It's located in a great area 10/15 minutes from restaurants, stores to shop, Universal with Sea world across the street. I highly recommend this hotel and we will be back.

Yelp
Very pleasant experience here. The rooms was large and comfortable. Room service was fast. Staff was nice and helpful-nothing but the best attitudes. Staff went out of their way to accommodate my weird requests (wanted connecting room, feather free, balcony, etc). The restaurants were great! I was there for a work conference and I also loved how convenient everything was- usually in conference hotels you have to walk really far but everything was laid out so convenient. I was surprised at how much I liked staying here, as I don't really like hotels in general. The walls were a little thin so I could hear all the conversations as ppl walked by but it didn't keep me up or anything. My cousin joined with her two babies under age three and they lovedddd the splash pad. Would totally stay here again.

Yelp
First thing I look for when staying at a hotel, besides the cleanliness of the room, is the gym. Let me tell you, the gym here is one of the better ones. By no means is it a fully equip with Olympic weightlifting racks and TRX etc., but they've got a good number of cardio machines, machine equipment, spin bikes, a cable machine, dumbbells, 2 benchs, a separate room with wooden floors for pilates or yoga with BOSU balls, medicine balls, kettlebells, yoga ball, and tons of open area in the main part to lunge around. Secondly, I look at the restaurants and decor. They have a sushi bar, a Starbucks, a ice cream shop, souvenir shops, and another fancier place. It's decent for hotel food when I don't feel like going outside in the 95 degree and 95% humidity weather. I absolutely love the open indoor courtyard area with the waterfall. Haven't checked out the pool because I'm hiding inside where there is AC :P Now, about the room: there's HBO for free!! I practically don't have to leave my room between the in-house food options and GoT binging. But I'm here for a conference. Most people are here for that or for SeaWorld.

Yelp
We recently stayed here for our honeymoon and our experience was no less than perfect. The friendly staff ensured we were always taken care of and made special accommodations for our stay. The resort itself is spotless, the pool area was always well maintained and the staff was welcoming and friendly. We will definitely be back if we're ever in the area again!

Yelp
I stayed at this hotel for a conference. Overall everything was pretty good. The rooms are spacious, bed and pillows comfortable, pool is nice, food is decent. There aren't many vegetarian options in the restaurants (be prepared to eat wedge salads and fries). The TV and remote in my room were painfully slow to change channels (like an old computer with a virus). The carpet in the room was disgusting and needs to be changed. I wore slippers or shoes when walking in the room. The staff were very hospitable and quick to help. If I come back to Orlando, I would stay here again.

Yelp
For what they charge it's not worth it. The ceiling in the bathroom was peeling and bubbling. The bed was rock hard. Walls were paper thin. I heard the guy in the next room snoring. Lol. Their water smelled so bad, you came out of there smelling worse than when you got in.

Yelp
Gorgeous hotel! Grounds were beautiful. I had to give 3 stars for the ridiculous fees of $30/day for internet that never works and "shuttle" when the shuttle runs sparsely, and we didn't use it. However, you're charged regardless. We had to use our cell service because more often then not the WiFi would not connect. We stayed for 4 nights and "because of COVID" they do not come clean. I don't see a credit on my bill for lack of service in this regard. 5 days and we have to keep putting our garbage in the hall, you have to ask for towel or as I was told at check in "try to use them more than once". The charge of $28/day to park is insane!!! That should absolutely be included as a guest of the hotel. I can see paying in metropolitan areas like New York and Boston where parking is at a premium but not Orlando. When I checked in my bill was calculated at $730 but they reserved $972 on my card. When all was said and done it cost $1020.00 I will look at this more closely when I get home. We ordered our first meal from Palm and was not told that if we ordered at the counter where all the signs pointed to order food, that you cannot sit at the tables as there were servers assigned to those tables. We would have preferred that. The server was nice enough to tell us we could stay. So that the server did not lose money from the table I asked for her Venmo and personally sent her more than what would have been tipped, mind you I had already tipped the counter. The second time we went to Palms we got food to go, one meal was a child's meal with juice. They forgot the juice so I asked for it and was given a cup with no lid. I was told they are not permitted to give lids. How am I supposed to carry everything and not spill a drink with no lid? The distant quite far just to the elevator not to mention off the elevator to our room. I reserved a room overlooking the pool or Sea World. When I checked in I was told "you have a great room on the 6th floor overlooking Seaworld. He definitely oversold the view. The view is not of Seaworld but of their parking lot of off in the distance you can see roller coasters. Tip: choose the pool view or inside. Overlooking the foyer is beautiful. Beware of the fees. Compare all of the upcharges to any other locations you are considering.

Yelp
I was here for a conference. The hotel facilities are very nice. They have big courtyard for leisure and conferences room for over thousands people. We spent three days at this hotel for conference. The lunch, meeting rooms, exhibition hall, out door demonstrations, snack, registration counter are included. The lunch here are very good. Especially the last day lunch. They do have big conference restrooms to accommodate many people. The only thing I complain about is their hallway to the restroom is too small. Parking is too expensive even with the discounts. The non discounts parking is $24. The register conference goer is $12. This should have been included. The server pay attention to the detail. When there is coffee on the floor, the clean up is quick. There plenty of inspiration zone with nice couches.

Yelp
This hotel appears nice on the outside, but it has some pretty glaring flaws. I will start with the good, and work my way down to the worst. My only compliment is that the staff is very friendly and helpful. I have no notes on the employees. We were given a room that faces into the lobby. I don't think there's much of a view to be had either way, but just be aware that you might have a balcony that opens up into their giant lobby/conference space. You can tell that the rooms themselves have been renovated. The towel rack is in the back of the shower, and the shower head is so big it will get all the towels wet unless you remove them first. The shower curtain design causes a bunch of water to spill out onto the ground unless you put the entire thing, inner and outer layer, into the shower with you. There is no bathroom fan so your mirrors will be too fogged up to use after a shower; and if you have stinky business to do the smell has nowhere to escape to. This is against building code in many states, but apparently not in Florida. For being a bonvoy member you get "free coffee and a pastry" for breakfast from their "Kitchen" area. This is basically a sad Starbucks ripoff. My mom and I don't drink coffee so we ordered tea and hot chocolate thinking that would be covered under the rule stipulation. Nope. We were instead charged $20 for those drinks and 2 of the floppiest, saddest bagels we had ever had. The hot chocolate tasted like hot water with coffee grounds thrown in. We ended up throwing 80% of it out and eating elsewhere. There is a breakfast buffett option too that is a whopping $32/adult so we did not partake in that. This is the only bonvoy hotel I've ever stayed in that didn't have complimentary breakfast, and the quality of those free breakfasts knocked the socks off our sad bagels and chocolate powder water. My biggest complaint however is the noise pollution from the lobby. As previously mentioned we had a room that overlooked the gigantic lobby space. All it took was one little kid squealing to be heard inside our room, and this is next to Sea World, so there is plenty of that to go around. I absolutely would not stay here during a convention. You will hear the entire convention going on outside your room. Now I understand the hotel can't control other guests that way, but they can definitely control the music that they blair from 7:53am-11pm. I couldn't sleep with the pop music blasting at night, so I called the front desk to ask when they would turn it off. They told me it ends when the bar closes at 11pm. Which it did, but they did not warn me about the instrumental ambiance music they cranked up at the very random time of 7:53am. It woke us up. We heard the little kids in the room next to us wake up crying. We heard someone in the room behind us shout "What the F-?!". I don't understand how you design half of your rooms to face the lobby and then you create your own noise complaints by playing music in the lobby at obnoxious hours. Between the sad breakfast options, the shoddy bathroom renovation, and the completely unacceptable lobby noise pollution, please save yourself and stay in one of the other million hotels in Orlando. We certainly will not be back.

Yelp
Many thanks to the excellent staff that took care of us during Hurricane Ian evacuation! Everyone was so kind and understanding. The hotel never lost power, but they were ready in case--handed out flashlights and glow sticks to everyone. It's a beautiful hotel with a soaring atrium, and while the pool was closed for the storm, it looked really nice. Hopefully we won't need it but we'd come here again for hurricane evacuation! We felt safe and comfortable the whole time. The electric car charging stations were great and most of them seemed to be working.

Yelp
Best business trip hotel I've stayed in a while. Check in took a while, but I had a late flight and they had someone in the line talking to people to keep them entertained/preoccupied while they waited. So, it wasn't too much of a big deal. When I got to the room, I was pleasantly surprised how ginormous the room was. It was clean, comfortable and incredible value. I'd come to this spot ANY time again.
