Renaissance Orlando Resort – Disney Springs® Area

I’ve been staying at this hotel for several nights and have spent time at American Kitchen & Bar both solo and with a large group, and I can honestly say the experience has been phenomenal every time. Karren is exceptional. He makes a perfect cocktail, is charming and personable, and genuinely cares about every guest at the bar. No matter how busy it gets, the service is always fast, thoughtful, and consistently excellent. From the food to the drinks to the overall service, everything has been outstanding. Easily the best hotel bar experience I’ve ever had.

Everything was great! We stopped in to see if they had a room available because of an issue at a different resort where we had a reservation that didn’t go well. They only had two rooms left. So it worked out. They were super friendly and helpful to us. We truly appreciated the kindness and hospitality. Very nice place! I forgot to take pics of the room. But I took a few out near the pool.

My daughter and I have stayed here a couple times for quick Disney trips. It’s a nice location near Disney Springs, is much more affordable than Disney hotels and arguably nicer. The decor is fun and whimsical and the beds are comfortable. We didn’t use many of the facilities because we tend to stay late at the parks and leave early to get to the parks before they open. The breakfast shop has a decent selection and good coffee. Overall comfortable stay and the price is right. My only complaints are the extra parking fee and stark bathroom, but both are minor considering the price point.

We stayed 2 weeks over the Christmas holidays. I found the staff here, especially the front desk to be very helpful. They gave us a very warm welcome out first night. Rooms were nice and spacious, location near Disney springs is fantastic. Stay was slightly overshadowed by poor and inconsistent house keeping. They kept forgetting to replace toilet paper, tissues and one day even towels. They also didn't clean the room floor very well. This was resolved by the front desk but pretty poor to come back to a dirty room. This was very disappointing as I tipped generously each day, even giving $20 on Christmas day. Also the shuttles to Disney are mostly ok but have a fundamental flaw. They won't get you there in time for early park entry, which is a perk you get from staying at the hotel. Overall a good experience, but room for improvement.

Wonderful experience on this property close to Disney Springs. The staff were extremely welcoming and took good care with my children; they took extra care to make sure they were well taken care of at meal times in the restaurant specifically. Mrs. Imane even went out of her way to remember the children’s preferences for breakfast!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff recognized my Marriott Platinum status and upgraded our room and gave us a lot of nice perks including access to an amazing breakfast at the in house restaurant. Imane was our server each day and took such amazing care of us! She remembered our drink orders and treated us with such kindness. Highly recommend staying here to be close to Disney!

The hotel is alright (7/10) and the location is great. Reception staff are also OK but you have to keep on top to get things sorted. We stayed for 9 nights in Novembre 2025 (2 adults / 3 kids) together with another 2 families of friends in other rooms. We all had some minor issues regarding the room cleanliness and even one day they didn't do the room neither change towels to any of us. Also in my case every day they would only leave 3 towels so that meant I had to keep going down to reception ask for more. The last few days the only way to get 5 towels was leaving a note in the room with a few bucks... somehow that miraculously always made 5 towels to be left. Restaurant is OK and staff are great, but if you're having breakfast and dining for 9 days in a row it could maybe do with a broader menu. Now the con-artist scammer part which I have read in multiple reviews and the reason I will NEVER stay there again: THEY CONTINUE TO CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD EVEN DAYS AFTER CHECKING OUT and worst of all THEY DO NOT REPLY TO YOUR EMAILS. In total they scammed me out of over 1200 dollars. I have claimed it back off VISA and cancelled the credit card. My other friends have also had their cards charged with randoms amounts and on different days. Up to you to decide where to stay... but the Holiday Inn or Hilton are right next door and have similar prices.

⭐️ 1 Star — Extremely Disappointing Stay We chose to stay at this hotel because my wife previously had a great experience at a Renaissance property in Hamburg, so we decided to pay more with the expectation of similar quality and service. Unfortunately, this stay was the complete opposite. My wife has allergies, and we submitted special cleaning requests through the booking app right after reserving. These requests were ignored, and the housekeeping throughout our stay was unacceptable. On the first night, the room was visibly dirty — the floor had dust, the bed sheets had hair on them, and the shower also had hair left behind. The same situation repeated on the second and third nights, and surfaces were not properly cleaned. To make matters worse, our shampoo and conditioner were not even refilled. Every night we had to speak with the front desk, but instead of real solutions, we received excuses. The first night they offered to waive the resort fees, but we made it clear we weren’t looking for discounts — we just wanted a properly cleaned room. The second night, nothing was offered at all. On the third night, they repeated that the fees were already waived and said there was no housekeeping available. When we called again about the missing toiletries, the only solution offered was to move us to another room — and that room was also dirty. For the price they charge, this experience was unacceptable. The service and cleanliness were worse than what I’ve experienced in much cheaper 2–3 star hotels. Here, you’re paying for the brand name — not the quality or hospitality. We will not be returning, and we do not recommend this property, especially for guests with allergies or reasonable expectations of cleanliness.

So this used to be the B and before the the Royal palace I think. But now it's a Marriott property which is great for us! Really nice inside. They have renovated and spruced it up. Rooms are updated as well. We had a regular room with no balcony or patio. Would like to get one of their patio rooms and see if they are still as nice as we remember. Solid spot and good location for the springs.

This was my second stay at this hotel. We stayed for three days in December. This will be my last. I reserved the room online and prepaid. When I went to check and I was told that the room I reserved would not be ready until sometime after four because the previous tenant asked for a late check out. I did not select a specific room, so I was not sure why I was being told that I could not check in until past the actual check in time. Since the front desk person did not ask me if I wanted another room, I had to ask if there was one available. He said yes, but it would not be the room that I reserved. ?????? So the Room rate I paid was 162 for the first night and 140 for the next two nights. But this hotel does not offer free parking, which is ridiculous so that cost an additional $28 per night to park in their parking lot. In addition to the parking lot fee, we were charged a $50 resort fee per day. I am not sure what this covered except for the fruit water in the lobby. I supposedly already get free Wi-Fi because I am a Marriott rewards member. The hotel does have a pool, however the hotel itself blocks the sun from the pool after about noon each day. So to wrap up, unhelpful front desk, staff, parking fee, which is ridiculous, and a resort fee that covers nothing. There are better options in that area so I would avoid this hotel.

I travel a lot for business and took a personal trip with my wife to Epcot to stay at the renaissance..Fantastic stay,, American kitchen is a great restaurant and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The manager of the property checked in while we were dining to see how we're doing. Would definitely recommend this location. The bartender Karrin at American kitchen was great as well, very engaging and took care of us.

From the front, it looks like a great resort. However, once you get inside, the rooms are very average. The beds are a little bit less than average and so is the bedding. On a good note the food at the restaurant was really good. I had the Caesar salad with chicken, and also the hamburger with fries. Very tasty.

First off this is now a Renaissance by Marriott hotel. It is a fine place to stay! Pretty inside and rooms are clean and large. Loved the pool. Honestly wanted to comment on the food. This is not your blah hotel food. Our lunch in the lobby restaurant (I think it's called American kitchen?) was delicious. The turkey sandwich was real turkey! And also the Mexican food out at the pool was on point. A good variety of tacos with smoked brisket or pork and also a yummy mushroom one. I was pleasantly surprised. Would not hesitate staying here again. Very close to Disney Springs area.

The resort fee was high with no resort functions or lack of accommodations. The construction was loud and had a bad odor from the welding. We were not told about the fee and when we called about it after being billed they were very short and said check your initial reservation. The restaurant had great food and would have been nice without the welding smells. The room was older and just okay.

RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN. DO NOT STAY HERE Too say this was by far the WORST experience at any hotel I've stayed at would be an understatement. Renaissance Orlando resort and spa should be avoided at all costs. We stayed 4 days and the fire alarm was falsely triggered 4 times including on at 6am! Our room on the 2nd floor was the only one in the whole building to have a balcony with no tables and chairs. The only restaurant in the building is extremely slow for average at best food. We waited over an hour for a burger and salad with 3 other tables seated in the entire place and everyone was waiting for food. Our tv inside the room doesn't work and the ceiling under the AC vent is warped and when we tried to contact or speak to front desk or management they won't answer. We called atleast 5 times to both front desk and maintenance and never got a call answered or helped. Once we finally were able to speak with management they said they are "working out some kinks still" and that was the end of it. We are extremely disappointed in our experience with renaissance.

The hotel staff is very nice but there were no amenities at this hotel. My daughter and I stayed at this hotel on her first trip to Disneyworld for her birthday. We wanted to order room service but was told they did not have room service available due to damage to the kitchen. I wished they had told this to us before booking this hotel. Next, our toilet kept getting clogged and on the second time it happened at 1:15 am and I had to use the restroom in another room while our toilet was being fixed. We couldn't go to sleep after until 5:00 am and decided to not go to Magic Kingdom that day since we were exhausted. Additionally, we were told there was a refrigerator in our room but it was a very small cooler that couldn't hold our left over food so we threw food away. There was also no microwave in the rooms so we had to keep going downstairs to the lobby to heat food. This was an inconvenience and nothing about this experience was luxurious. The spa was not open so I couldn't get a massage. We did not enjoy the hotel and won't be back. It is not a 5 star resort.
