Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa

We stayed at the Renaissance in May and it turned out to be one of the best resort experiences we’ve ever had! Although it was the low season and it rained throughout our entire trip, the resort went above and beyond by upgrading us to a pool villa, something we were incredibly thankful for. They genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay despite the weather, and we truly did. The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, which made our visit all the more memorable. We dined at the hotel’s restaurants and were impressed by both the food and the service as well. Special shoutout to the spa too, we had a fantastic massage thanks to the skilled and attentive therapists. Despite the gloomy weather, our stay was nothing short of wonderful. The rooms and the amazing staff definitely deserve a full 5 stars!

We’ve returned to Renaissance Phuket for the third time - and it keeps getting better. This resort is truly exceptional, with an incredible tropical setting and beautifully maintained grounds. Many of the rooms have recently been renovated, giving the hotel an even more stylish and modern feel. We stayed in a villa this time, and it was absolutely stunning - also freshly renovated, with a private fenced-in area that created a sense of total privacy and peace. There are several pools on the property, including a dedicated kids’ pool, and the hotel organizes daily activities for guests. One of our favorites was the marshmallow roasting by the fire pit on the beach from 5 to 6 PM - such a fun and cozy experience. Breakfasts here are truly a highlight, with fresh salmon, delicious eggs Benedict, and a wide variety of other options like a ice cream or chocolate fountain that make mornings feel like a celebration. An outstanding resort we’re always happy to return to!

We had a wonderful stay at Renaissances Maikhao hotel in Phuket! The service was outstanding—every staff member was friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about making our stay perfect. The food was delicious with plenty of options for both adults and kids. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, with a great kids’ club, pools, and relaxing spa. It’s the perfect place for families to relax and enjoy quality time together. Our children had a fantastic time, and we felt truly taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Phuket with family!

My partner and I had an unforgettable two-night stay at the Renaissance Phuket. Room service was outstanding—prompt, professional, and perfect for a relaxing night in. As someone with celiac disease, I was especially impressed by the dining options. Every restaurant offered delicious food, and the staff took my gluten-free needs seriously, with clear understanding and precautions to prevent cross-contamination. I felt completely safe and well cared for. During our stay, I also needed a private space for a quick business meeting, and the resort arranged a quiet, well-equipped room that was perfect for the occasion—an unexpected but greatly appreciated touch. While the surf was rough in June and we didn’t spend much time on the beach, the pool and lounge areas were ideal for unwinding after a long journey from the Phi Phi Islands. I highly recommend the Renaissance Phuket to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality stay—it truly exceeded our expectations.

Private pool villa was beautiful and perfect. There were issues with the bathroom sliding door and the front door. Every morning the leaves fall into the pool and the pool bed so you need someone to clean it up daily. There’s also geckos in the room. The service was amazing. They were attentive and kind

We came here and stay in the pool Villa for two nights. Rooms were spacious and well design with separate section for bathroom and showers. Small sun deck and dipping pool outside. Villa is relatively new. Maybe they had refurbished recently. There were some construction or maintenance of building nearby but noise were not too loud and only in the day. ||We did not go outside and have breakfast lunch and dinner at the hotel. All meals were very good. We had local Thai food, Indian food, Italian pizza, and grill lamb. Enjoyed every meal. Did not expect the hotel to have such delicious southern Thai food. Italian four cheese pizza and mushroom truffle pizza were a fantastic. For breakfast don’t forget to order crab meat egg Benedict. Also, fresh squeeze fruit and vegetable juice. They even have gelato for breakfast. A small Starbucks café in the hotel itself.||It was raining so I cannot go run outside Fortunately, the hotel has a good gym with treadmill. Kids pool is nice with some activities throughout the day. Main swimming pool by the beach it’s nice with adjacent Jacuzzi.|Hotel staff were exceptional. All of them are very friendly and try to help with anything. ||Overall, a very good hotel with good food and service. Highly recommended for a family vacation.

I came here just a few days ago, and I thought it was really nice so I wanted to write a review. The staff and bedroom were all clean, and I think the hosted events were also great. The pools could be a bit cleaner though. I went to the spa and other places to do a few activities with my family, such as learning how to make bath bombs, and we all enjoyed it. They even gave us complimentary drinks and snacks. I think i’ll stay here again the next time I come to Phuket. Great experience.
