Renaissancehotel Raffelsberger HOF

We felt so fortunate to have found the Raffelsberger Hof for our last handful of days in Austria! We did alot of reseach of the various towns in the Wachau and landed at the Raffelsberger Hof for it's location, charm, breakfast buffet reviews :), the quieter vibe of Weissenkirchen; it was absolutely the best place! We were warmly welcomed, loved our room facing the chuch, Katie went above and beyond with the ebikes and recommendations, that stellar breakfast buffet. And this before we "discovered" the sauna and pool! Wonderful staff and place.

Great place, nice breakfast. It can be challenging to find dinner if you get in late, have a plan for that

We had an idyllic retreat here. The hotel and grounds are peaceful and charming. The breakfast cover looking the courtyard was delicious and picturesque. I wish we could have stayed longer. The pool area is lovely, silent, and completely relaxing.

The hotel itself was really lovely with a great buffe breakfast, spa, and s great sauna.|Unfortunately, the female owner was so rude & aggressive that it made our stay uncomfortable and unpleasant. The male owner was so nice and so was the rest of the staff. If you are staying here be prepared.

What a lovely, quiet spot! Beautiful rooms with full amenities and an incredibly delicious and varied breakfast menu. Claudia was a friendly and accommodating host and made sure everyone was well looked after. I would highly recommend staying here!

Enjoyed our stay in this idyllic locale. The town is charming and picturesque - close to Vienna and several interesting castle sites bordering the Danube. Also, it was apricot season!

This was our second stay in two consecutive years. Last year i was more impressed, our room was bigger and in main building. This year we had a room outside and room was smaller (no 20). The room view was very nice, looking at owner’s private garden. However the bed was old and very soft. Pillows were also very bad. i could not sleep for two nights. Room was also not particularly clean, you could see dust on air fan, spiders etc. Breakfast, location, building are stunning but some rooms need little more attention to keep the quality high. Last year staff seemed to me more welcoming, this year they seem to count the hours to close the season. I think we will try another hotel next year. It is a pity!
