This hotel has had some terrible reviews but, for me, my room, my bedding, hot water supply & quality of service were all okay. I was there for two nights. I liked the convenience of nearby St George's Terrace. Hotel breakfast was sumptuous but over-priced at $27. I managed to lose my overnight dental splint ($500) in the bedsheets but reception/housekeeping retrieved it & mailed it back to my home. Rendezvous isn't 5 star but I think it's good value for money. By the way, I was there as an Indian Pacific rail passenger en route to Sydney. My one whine is that the hotel TV reception was constantly interrupted by loss of signal. I couldn't enjoy ABC TV "Silent Witness" & that peeved me.

Basic accommodation in a nice, quiet part of the city. Unfortunately cleanliness was an issue and the shower pressure was a mere dribble. The breakfast buffet was nice and had a few vegan labelled options.

Room was a little dated, small Bathroom. Bed was comfy though. There was no water available to purchase and nothing too close by to be able to purchase any. The bar did fill up a large bottle for me to take back to my room though.

I recently stayed at Rendezvous Perth Central Hotel and found it to be ideally located for both business and leisure travelers. Location The hotel is conveniently located less than 20 minutes from Kings Park, Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, and Perth Arena. Additionally, there's a nearby bridge crossing the highway, providing easy access to Kings Park either by walking through charming residential streets or taking a scenic route through a beautiful park with waterfalls and playgrounds, leading directly to the steps of Kings Park. Proximity to Attractions It is also close to the historic Old Swan Brewery and the iconic Matilda Bay Boatshed on the Swan River, making it a great spot for exploring Perth's rich history and scenic beauty. Shopping & Dining The hotel’s location is perfect for those looking to explore city shopping on Hay Street and Murray Street Mall. It's also near the new Elizabeth Quay and Yagan Square precincts, offering a wide variety of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Dining Experience The hotel offers a comprehensive American-style breakfast complete with delightful desserts and a variety of milk options, ensuring a great start to your day. Rendezvous Perth Central Hotel is not just a place to stay but a perfect base for exploring the heart of Perth. Whether you're here for a business conference or to enjoy the city's attractions, this hotel makes for an ideal choice.

This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are clean but so outdated with no modern facilities, like charging points etc. The iron is broken, so it needs to be held at a certain angle to not spill water everywhere I had a bag explosion and needed to get my clothes cleaned. The form in the room is old. I have no idea why it's still left here then. I was told I had to bring all my clothes down and that they wouldn't collect them despite the directions on the form. I still don't have my clothes back. It's been three days, and I check out in 30 minutes. The breakfast was nice the first two days, but it was all overcooked and burnt this morning. The key card reader doesn't work in the lift, so you have to try it over and over again. I rode the lift four times just now before it finally worked. I am not the only one who has experienced this. People gave me tips, but they didn't work, unfortunately. The worst part is that this poor lady got stuck in the staircase. She knocked frantically, and I let her out. She complained to reception and the lady just shrugged. There has been more, but I think people will get the idea. Here's hoping I get my clothes back.

This is my third time in this hotel, love the location, very quiet but close to everything. Breakfast was great too. Room is clean and well maintained.

On leaving the receptionist asked what we thought of the hotel and when I gave an honest review she said ‘this is a five star hotel’ and I nearly laughed. The hotel is very out dated and so is the furniture which was visibly damaged and doesn’t look like it’s been updated since the hotel opened (except our bed which I’ll admit was pretty comfy). The room was small and our ocean view balcony had no seating / you can’t see the view unless you’re standing and looking over the balcony so not really worth paying extra for. We assumed that the price we paid must have been for access to the lushly photographed pool area since it couldn’t have been for the room but the condition of the pool area is actually comical. The grass is a very fake turf that looks more like green carpet and the rocks around the pool are actually bright orange plaster and look nothing like the photo. Half the palm trees are dead and are just stumps. The spa wasn’t very warm and was murky with floating bits in it and there were lots of children playing in the pool. Children are not an issue, but after seeing the state of the hotel and pool area we felt that the hygiene of the pool was questionable and felt gross getting in the water so we didn’t. Thought we’d get a cocktail at the bar instead but all the cocktails are a pre-mix brand that look very tacky / sugary but still pricey so we gave those a miss as well. Not a 5 star pool / bar experience at all. Lots of added costs as well. An extra $25 to park your car in the hotel parking and $5 delivery fee on room service…… This hotel is a big no from us unless you have young children who would enjoy the pool area + the location which is right next to an outdoor park with rock climbing, skate park, beach and food that kids would enjoy without needing parents supervising. Even with kids I’d want to be getting a really good deal. 2 star hotel - 3 stars with the location.

Hotel is a little run-down but clean. Had delicious food in the Straits Cafe, and excellent buffet breakfast with many choices. All staff are well trained, friendly, and extremely helpful. Would definitely stay here again, if we're having a night in town.
