I love Renew Day Spa. This play is a Manhattan gem. The masseuses are talented and thorough. I came back and brought my partner (who only gets sports massages). He was impressed with how deep/hard pressure the massages are. I can’t wait for my next massage!

First of all, this review was not written to get any special offers. I didn't know there was such an offer. After 1 year of coming here and referring friends, I have finally written a review and recommend this place. When I come to NYC, I try to make it a point to stop here to enjoy a massage by one of the masseurs whose strength does not diminish over time. In the DC area, most of massage folks say they come from NYC, but it seems like they do not massage as well. One or two do massage like those at Renew Day Spa. Also, one of the best things about Renew Day Spa is the price! Many places in DC have raised prices possibly to match other brand name massage places etc, and I don't think it is worth it based on some of the people's techniques. My friends and I like the massage technique here. Also, it is worth noting that massaging is not easy and to keep up the strength is pretty impressive for 90 min. Just because the price is cheap, one should not give a tip based on a % because I feel that is too little unless they didn't do a good job of course. For example, I get a $7 haircut on Bayard but I give $5. 20% of $7 is $1.40 which is absurd. I have not tried their other services such as foot massages since I prefer the 90 min full body massages.

This was my first massage ever - I did the 60 min massage and 15 min foot massage. My masseuse made sure to check with me on pressure (I requested soft to medium), which I greatly appreciated as a first timer!! I requested no neck massage and my masseuse did not pressure me into getting it. Overall, I had a great experience and my masseuse definitely got the knots out without applying too much pressure. I had many knots so was slightly uncomfortable from the pressure at one point but now that I’ve finished my massage, my body (and mind) feel so relaxed and at ease. I will be returning!

If you’re looking for the ultimate massage experience in the city, Renew day spa is an absolute standout. Felt relaxed the whole time and price is affordable and worth it. It was my first time here but will definitely come back here soon! :)

This place was exactly what we needed after taking 36,000 steps within just 30 hours of being here! From the moment we walked in, it was a haven of relaxation. The spa is spotless, the ambiance is tranquil, and the service is absolutely incredible. Every detail was thoughtfully attended to, and it was clear that they prioritize their clients’ comfort and care. If you’re looking for a clean, peaceful escape to recharge, this is the place to go. On of the best massages I’ve ever had! My 90min felt so good. I think I even fell asleep. Usually massages are painful for me but therapist did amazing. He got the knots out without putting me in more pain. This is now going to be apart of self care routine

Renew Day Spa was fantastic! We got exceptional service during our couples 60min massage. The masseuses listened to the requested amount of pressure, the hot stone massage was a wonderful touch to an overall excellent experience. The place is very clean. Highly recommend this place, will return!

Always a solid choice. No frills but a bargain for the price! I'm always satisfied with the service and have never had trouble getting an appointment or doing a walk in.

If I lived in New York, I'd be here all the time. I usually go for Thai massages, but this place was conveniently nearby. Annie was incredible--she worked out all the knots in my back. She was so sweet and caring, too. The prices are really reasonable. Definitely the best spot!

I came to Renew Day Spa to get a massage because I have been sore after workouts, and I think I sleep funny. I recieved a 1hr full body massage ($55 cash) with Eva due to neck, shoulder, and lower back pain. She mainly speaks Mando but was able to communicate a little English. I told her it was my first time and about my trouble areas, and she was really able to get in there! Loosening a lot of my knots while making sure I still felt comfortable. Granted, it was painful, but it was a good type of pain. She focused on the areas I told her about but still massaged my whole body. There was a short second at the end where hot stones were utilized. The shop is located on the second floor, but they also own the 3rd floor. The second floor has a long row or massage beds that are separated by a thin barrier, usually for single users. If you come with a friend or partner, they will bring you upstairs to use the shared couple room. Bathroom is located on the second floor and it was clean. Staff was friendly. I will come back again when I get a chance.

Great quality and great price for what you get. Been coming here for years. Always been happy for their service, clear communication and no hidden charges.

If you're looking for an affordable quality massage, make sure you come here. They take their time to really tend to your body. They always find my knots, and I walk out feeling like a brand person. This is a too go to place. I really wanted to keep this to myself. Treat yourself hour or more, and you won't regret it.

Read reviews and finally caved in for a massage yesterday and it was aamazing. I was on an airplane for 12hrs the day before so I felt stiff and the male massage therapist who helped me found all my problem areas and worked them out. Definitely will be back again.

Honestly one of the better massages that I've had, they hit all the right pressure points, and used enough pressure to make me feel like all my knots were getting loosened. Definitely hurt in the moment but in a good way and I feel very relaxed after. The hot stones and stretching were a nice touch too

For anyone sensitive to synthetic scents--avoid! There is an air freshener scent that triggered a migraine for me. However, for everyone else: the massage I got here was truly amazing, and the prices were great. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who is not sensitive to air fresheners.

I've been to many massage places in Manhattan Chinatown as I've lived here for 10+ years now and this is my favorite one! I've also tried many of the masseuses there - I never really request anyone specific because I tend to walk in last minute - and everyone has been really good.

Very relaxing and affordable. My go to when i need a massage. Can get busy so make a reservation.

I've been coming since 2017. I'd come at least once a month. They do a great job and it USED to be the best deal in town and the wait times for walk ins were pretty decent. Wait times increased around 2018 or 2019. They opened a second location blocks away and funneled traffic beautifully between spots to minimize wait times. But then both places got popular and it's practically ever impossible to not have to wait as a walk in. Highly recommend appointments for anyone wanting to go now. Since the pandemic started easing up, their prices have gone way up. It was $39/hr before that. They've definitely made it nicer inside and updated furnishings... BUT I never cared about how it looked, I cared about the price and the quality of the service. They aren't the best deal in town anymore and about on par pricing wise, actually even more expensive, than other spots in the area. I still go occasionally, but it's no longer a regular thing for me, as I can't afford to do so with their new pricing. Also, just the drastic increase of pricing has made my loyalty wane. It's hard to justify only going to them when there are others offering the same thing at the same price. Since I can no longer just drop in if I'm in the area, it just doesn't justify the price uptick for me.

I absolutely love this place. I've been coming for years and I keep coming back. Prices are reasonable and I've never had a bad massage. They partition the rooms, it's nothing fancy, but it does the job

Amazing deal for 60 min massage (body work). $55 in cash (bring additional cash for tip). This massage is no joke. You'll leave feeling sore but lighter in a good day. Will be back and will definitely recommend!

This place is a hidden gem! I have gotten many massages before & this place does a damn superb job at it! Prices were so affordable and very reasonable & the masseuse were strong & knew what they were doing. I like that they let you choose the gender of your masseuse. We had the pleasure of having lisa & yoyo as our masseuse. We each did a 90 minute massage (60 minute deep tissue massage + 30 minute foot massage) for $75. Such a great deal! Don't forget to tip your masseuse well because they work hard. They hit every knot on our back, even ones I didn't knew existed. Place was very clean. The place is not fancy and you can hear your next door neighbor talking. But I really highly recommend this place to get affordable strong massages!

I like how they made sure if you were ok and I did medium strength which was perfect for me. Very relaxing and almost fell asleep. Clean and sanitary.

Body work is an incredible experience. I particularly appreciate the focus on my legs. The staff is exceptionally kind and accommodating--they allowed my friend and me to walk in and enjoy a massage together in the same room. It's the perfect treat for a self-care day.

Called in advance to make a reservation. They ask you if you want a female or male masseuse. Got a massage on Saturday morning with Yoyo. She was nice and accommodating ! I did a 1 hour for full body and it was $55. In the middle of the full body there are hot stones that come out too.

Had a couples massage and enjoyed the full body medium massage. My therapist got all my knots out that I've had trouble with relieving at other places. Recommend it if you need body recovery. I will say it's not the most luxurious experience. I would book a regular individual massage instead of couples because the therapists kept speaking to each other which made it hard to relax. The rooms are just individual curtains. I would have preferred if they played the music louder and didn't speak so I could fully relax. That being said, they got out every single knot and I left feeling like jelly. For the price if you're willing to forgo ambiance definitely try it out. Just don't take someone here for a special occasion :)

Had an excellent foot reflexology session w/ Jason! Definitely got all the pressure points. Feel very relaxed and refreshed. Room was very clean and pleasantly lit. Would def come back, highly recommend!

Very professional, good price and friendly staff. rooms and ambiance are not fancy but it's clean and a good massage. I will say that the blinds in the couples massage room need to be repaired there's a slat missing and people can see straight in from the street. My only complaint, would return. Bring cash.
