This is truly one of my favorite coffee shops in Hanoi. The coffee here is consistently delicious, with a rich, balanced flavor that keeps me coming back. There’s something incredibly comforting about enjoying a cup here — especially right after the rain, when the air is fresh, the streets are quiet, and the atmosphere becomes almost poetic. It’s one of those little rituals that feels both peaceful and indulgent. One thing I really appreciate is their thoughtful approach to sustainability. They offer a discount if you bring your own cup, which not only encourages eco-friendly habits but also adds a sense of connection and care to the whole experience. It’s a small but meaningful gesture — a kind of exclusive touch for loyal customers who share the same values. If you’re in Hanoi and looking for a spot with great coffee, a calm vibe, and a sense of purpose, this café is absolutely worth a visit. I always leave feeling just a little better than when I arrived.

Reng Reng is still something truly special to me. The coffee is unique, high-quality, and full of character. Every cup feels just right — satisfying in the moment, but somehow leaves you craving more once you're home. The space is quiet and calming. No loud talking, no photo-taking — just a place to slow down and enjoy. Their opening hours are limited, so every time I return to Hanoi, I make sure to plan my visit carefully I have Bà Nà ( my fav) like everytime came here. 45k VND/cup

One of the best coffee I have ever had in Vietnam. You can only expect for good coffee, but nothing else. No wifi, no bathroom, no taking pictures, no good chairs or tables… literally nothing. I still feel it’s worth coming if you are looking for a serious coffee place.

Best coffee (bac xiu) in Hanoi. I’ve tried all the best coffee shops in Hanoi, and still this stands out for bac xiu as my favourite.

The best coffee in Hanoi! Well for me, it's the best coffee in the world! A few people have tried to copy the style but they don't come anywhere close to the kind of coffee that is made here. I highly recommend it to anybody who loves coffee! Important tip: If you bring your own cup you get a discount!

the worst coffee shop that I have ever came across, bad service, the employee wandering around looking at guests like a police. the coffee were mid but no toilet, no wifi, doesnt allow guest to talk loud even we talk quietly. WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS HIDEOUS PLACE

An adorable hideaway cafe tucked in a small alley. You come here to slow down and enjoy a cup of coffee. I highly recommend their espresso-based drinks. But if you have a sweet tooth, go for the cream cafe with condensed milk. It’s like a dessert! 😁 The seatings are limited, the chairs are tiny, but kind of charming.

If you're looking for a brilliant cup of coffee, this is the place to go. It's famously known as one of the first specialty cafés in Hanoi. Seating is limited, with customers often spilling onto the nearby pavement. No photos (thank God—I’m so tired of the check-in/selfie culture here), no toilet, no loud talking. Bring your own cup for a 10-15% discount. Just good coffee, no distractions. Service can be slow, depending on the time of the day.
