This is truly one of my favorite coffee shops in Hanoi. The coffee here is consistently delicious, with a rich, balanced flavor that keeps me coming back. There’s something incredibly comforting about enjoying a cup here — especially right after the rain, when the air is fresh, the streets are quiet, and the atmosphere becomes almost poetic. It’s one of those little rituals that feels both peaceful and indulgent. One thing I really appreciate is their thoughtful approach to sustainability. They offer a discount if you bring your own cup, which not only encourages eco-friendly habits but also adds a sense of connection and care to the whole experience. It’s a small but meaningful gesture — a kind of exclusive touch for loyal customers who share the same values. If you’re in Hanoi and looking for a spot with great coffee, a calm vibe, and a sense of purpose, this café is absolutely worth a visit. I always leave feeling just a little better than when I arrived.

Charming little café with a quiet, cozy vibe — perfect for solo coffee lovers or a small catch-up with friends. I love the Bà Nà coffee here; it’s rich and smooth. The shop is closed on Mondays, so plan ahead. Not ideal for big groups or loud conversations — it’s more of a calm, slow space. You’re encouraged to bring your own mug, or you can buy a glass there (though the in-house glass adds to the price, so I wouldn’t recommend it). Also, taking photos of the barista isn’t allowed, which helps keep the place peaceful.

One of the best coffee I have ever had in Vietnam. You can only expect for good coffee, but nothing else. No wifi, no bathroom, no taking pictures, no good chairs or tables… literally nothing. I still feel it’s worth coming if you are looking for a serious coffee place.

I’ve been a coffee lover for years and have tried specialty coffee in many different countries, but Reng Reng Cafe truly amazed me. Their coffee is real specialty—unique, distinctive, and unforgettable. The flavors stand out even when compared with other specialty places I admire, like Sweet Spot Kaffee. Reng Reng has definitely earned a special place on my list of favorites!

The best coffee in Hanoi! Well for me, it's the best coffee in the world! A few people have tried to copy the style but they don't come anywhere close to the kind of coffee that is made here. I highly recommend it to anybody who loves coffee! Important tip: If you bring your own cup you get a discount!

To the random local guy who recommended this cafe completely unprompted - THANK YOU! We went back the next day with our friends because it was so good! The Ba Na coffee here is so smooth & tasty! It's a friendly, local, no nonsense cafe that seems to be loved by so many people. (To the guy who recommended this 😭 if you're reading this, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!)

An adorable hideaway cafe tucked in a small alley. You come here to slow down and enjoy a cup of coffee. I highly recommend their espresso-based drinks. But if you have a sweet tooth, go for the cream cafe with condensed milk. It’s like a dessert! 😁 The seatings are limited, the chairs are tiny, but kind of charming.

A local recommended this cafe to us as his favourite cafe and it became our favorite too! It's a quiet cafe, the coffee is great and there's a discount if you bring your own mugs!
