We were treated like trash through the booking process. Originally we booked via Booking.com nearly 8 month prior to staying. 2 nights, 5 people at a rate of 484 euro. Mid March 2022 when Italy and Rome are opening up much more after Covid, we are contacted by Rent in Rome via Booking, to tell us that due to Covid they have to close and they cancel our booking. Through the entire process they continue to sell their rooms, BUT at 3 times the rate we were originally confirmed at. No offer was made from RiR nor B.com to keep room at higher rate. TOTALLY unheard of and VERY disrespectful to customers, considering they manage their rates at all times. We have now just returned from Rome after some very nice days there, OBVIOUSLY staying at a different place. BE AWARE of rate policies from Rent in Rome, is all I can say.
