On my very first trip to Puerto Vallarta, I found myself wandering the charming cobblestone streets of Zona Romántica when I unexpectedly stumbled upon Republic. From the moment I walked up, the warmth of the staff made me feel like I was being welcomed home. I wasn’t pushed into ordering anything specific, nor did I feel rushed—just genuine care that I had a wonderful meal. Little did the team know that the friends I was visiting were already loyal customers, yet the kindness and hospitality they showed me—just a stranger off the street—was exactly the same. That speaks volumes. The food? Absolutely delicious. Beautifully presented and full of flavor. From the crispy, golden fries to the sizzling fajitas and all the scrumptious bites in between, every dish was a hit. The drinks were generous, refreshing, and a little too easy to keep ordering! A special shoutout to Fernando, Jorge, and Andrea—thank you for making my first dining experience in Puerto Vallarta so memorable. Republic is an absolute must-stop for anyone visiting Vallarta. I’ll be back again and again.

This place is incredibly chill. We grabbed seats at the bar, and Santiago instantly turned a good night into a great one. The pork shank was outstanding, served on a flaming plate that made the whole bar stop and stare. The shrimp tacos were unreal, easily, according to my wife, ‘the best tacos I’ve ever had.’ Both the ginger margarita and the passionfruit margarita were fresh, bright, and exactly what you want on a warm PV night. Put this spot on your must-visit list when you’re in Puerto Vallarta.

We chanced upon this place when roaming around town and were so pleased we did. The service was personable and entertaining, the food was beautifully presented, and the price was reasonable. Everyone in our family of 5 left impressed! Great for adults and kids alike.

Amazing fajitas that come with flames and dancing, excellent and fresh cocktails. Lovely staff and beautiful restaurant. Went multiple times and loved it. The birria tacos were delicious too!

The service and food is so on point! Everyday walking back to our place we were greeted with high fives which made us very happy! The margaritas are massive and delicious, some of the BEST in Puerto Vallarta. I highly recommend the spicy margarita. The corn kernels as an appetizer were so good! Perfect spice and chips. I had the surf and turf, which featured a mouthwatering garlic sauce and a tender juicy steak cooked to perfection. My companion had the shrimp, fish, and sausage fajitas which were perfect! To top off the experience we had the churros with ice cream! I'm not usually tempted by churros but these were fabulous! I can't recommend this place enough for food,service, and drinks!

We were created by a very friendly server who provided excellent service. Had several people check on us throughout the meal. Food was the best we've had in Mexico. I had the shrimp cheese tacos and a potato cheese chicken dish. Both were amazing if you are on a diet I don't recommend cuz we kept eating long after we were full.

Food was outstanding, flavorful, creative, just love it, service and everything makes a great experience, I will definitely will recommend this place!

🇲🇽Customer service with a five ⭐️star plus. The crew is working and hustling very hard. Excellent location and atmosphere, especially if you like to watch people walk by when sitting on the outdoor patio. The food was disappointed. For three people, we had the fajitas. One chicken and one steak and we shared. We expected an experience out of this world like we had experienced a few years ago when I was undercover with my children. It was quite a show from the staff in 2023. This year they seemed 🥱 bored! The skillet was not hot. I believe the food was all pre-cooked and when they brought it 20 feet away from the table, they poured some tequila and heated the skillet! The food was still cold and dry, and the toppings were very minimum. Ok fajitas but not hot.🔥. After we expressed our experience with a different waiter named Fernando, we noticed the change for the other guests sitting in the restaurant and it seems they made changes on the go for a better experience for everybody else. Skillets came out steaming as you could see the smoke from the hot dish. But why do they rush and why did we not get the same experience. So many place here in PV that serve fajita’s that we probably will not return as they are only looking to flip tables. Expensive, 2 fajitas and 2 drinks at $1050 pesos, over priced for the quality.
