The window suggests you can pay wirelessly — but you can't. Of course they only tell you after you've received your order. If you don’t have Czech cash, they’ll charge you in euros with an 8% markup over the Google exchange rate. And just when you think you’re done, they inform you they don’t accept euro coins, only banknotes. How outrageous can it get. This was my only bad experience in the Czech Republic, and I felt compelled to warn others. Shame on you. By the way, the coffee was not even hot, at best mediocre. Reply: the picture was taken on the date of the incident 18 October 2025. If my review, led to taking of the misleading sign, it already was a success in protecting future customers. It is a pity however, that you not simply admit your fault and say you rectified it in the aftermath, instead of insinuating I drive 500 kilometres (as a German tourist) to take a fake picture, driving back into the past? Very plausible explanation, which tells me a lot about your integrity and intentions.

Stopped by this place with my boyfriend while on vacation and ordered a coffee and breakfast — being perfectly normal customers, nothing outrageous. I also politely asked for a cup of hot water so I could prepare my medical tea, which I have to drink three times a day according to my urologist. (Unfortunately, I did not pack my kettle in my carry-on. Tragic oversight.) The waiter, bless his heart, managed to call me “weird” twice (in case I missed it the first time!) even after I calmly explained the situation. Apparently, ordering hot water is now the equivalent of showing up to a restaurant with your own three-course meal? A truly inspiring leap in customer service logic. If you enjoy being judged for existing, or if you’ve been craving the unique thrill of being compared to someone bringing their own food to a restaurant simply for asking for hot water, this is the place for you. Otherwise… plenty of coffee shops around that don’t treat basic human interaction like a personal challenge. 😘

an absolute gem of a cafe; coffee made to a high standard, a lovely ambience and delicious food (if the shakshuka is a good guide). Usefully located too, and with quick service also If there's a better cafe in Karlovy Vary I'd be surprised

Best place to get coffee and something to eat in Karlovy Vary! Small menu but everything is delicious, which makes it hard to choose from! Great service and a lovely seating area outside.

Amazing Coffee, friendly place , nice place to chill. Some notes on the area of coffee preparation, its exposed to the customers, hygiene can be improved.

Young and very friendly staff, very nice service. Pop-culture dream, with very nice atmosphere. Only thing that struck me at first was that the Coffe is self served. Otherwise decent coffe. My personal recommendation is "Mrkváč" witch is carrot and cream cake.

In this area no where else do you go and get the treatment you do here. Staff is overwhelming welcome and friendly, everything Is homemade, even the yogurt! They do their own roasting which you can watch, and during the holidays they will do Santa leaf art on your latte or cappuccino. I got a latte, excellent quality for 60 crowns and a homemade croissant for 30. A bit steep maybe but for the area I don't think it is unusual. The location in right on one of the main colonnades so it's well connected. The space is a good size, has an upstairs and counter spots, plenty of outlets to keep connected as well as free wifi. If wifi is your only reason to go here though beware- it isn't very strong you may have to ask for it to be reset. Otherwise a nice, clean, comfy spot in the direct center to experience some awesome coffee grinds and homemade treats.

Place was awesome, came here after a long journey, awesome coffee and tasty cake! Was exactly what I needed :)

My boyfriend and I ended up here accidentally. We loved it! I ordered a cappuccino, and my boyfriend had a latte. The coffee was so delicious and milky just how I like it. It was cozy and the staff super friendly! We will for sure come back if we are ever in Karlovy Vary again.
