Is there any açaí lover around❓ Cause if there is, I wanna say that I went to République of Coffee and I ordered an açaí bowl and what I got was... not an açaí bowl. 😓 That thing was (almost) a soup and the açaí flavor was very weak. Açaí is supposed to be mixed with something like guaraná juice (some also mix it with apple juice when guaraná isn't available). I don't know what was in that mixture, but it wasn't very sweet and I didn't like it. 👎 Also, and that's not specific to this venue, in an açaí bowl there should be granola and banana 🍌, and the rest of toppings, even if they look nice, don't match as well. Especially, I dislike any fruit that's acid. In my bowl that day, there was, at most, 1/2 a banana and it's not like there was a huge quantity of the rest of the toppings either: 2 grapes, 2 raspberries, 5 blueberries, a 1/4 of kiwi, very few grams of granola. 👎👎 About the rest of the food, the eggs benedicts were nice and well plated, but the pancakes 🥞 and eggs were just pancakes with 2 sunny-side-up eggs on the top, and one of them came broken. 🫤 The service was kind of slow, but the place was cozy, as the weather was chilly but sunny and we were sitting by the window. Prices were moderate. Count €15 per person for 1 drink and 1 dish. Just make sure this last one is not an açaí bowl. 😅 . . . Quality & taste: 3/10 Quantities: 7/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Originality: 5/10 Ratio price / quality: 7/10 Service: 7/10 How I felt afterwards: 4/10

Super cute spot! The iced coffee was on point and definitely made my morning better 🤣 The pancakes were delicious, fluffy and full of flavor. My only (small) complaint was the bacon, it wasn’t as crispy as I like, but that’s on me for not mentioning it. All in all, a great breakfast spot I’d come back to!

Google
Cute, delicious, friendly staff. What more could you ask for? It’s a small spot but both times I went I was able to get a table right away. Delicious food and drinks.

Google
Great location, cute cafe from inside. I’m allergic to onions, the waiter brought me salad with red onion and there were chives on the eggs.. Then I asked her about guacamole and she told me that it does contains onions but you don’t feel them.. Feeling something and being allergic are totally different things. There was no sugar served with coffee. The eggs didn’t have any taste, no salt/pepper on the table. I left almost everything on my plate, when the waiter picked it up, he even didn’t asked whether I liked it. Don’t come to this place, as there are so many other places where they treat you with smile, respect and attention. We had breakfast today at Kozy, totally different experience.

Google
We had the French toast and eggs benedict. The flavours on both were flawless. And plated so well! The staff were super friendly and accommodating.

Google
Stunning cafe with amazing menu. Fairly priced for Paris. Highly recommend the French toast. Probably the best breakfast spot within the area with a vibrant feel both inside and out.

The café boasts a bright, airy interior with high ceilings, exposed brick walls, and a signature pink neon sign that adds a touch of contemporary flair. Its cozy corners and ample natural light make it an ideal place for both social gatherings and solo work sessions. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, offering a welcoming environment for all visitors. Menu Highlights République of Coffee offers a diverse menu that caters to various dietary preferences, including vegetarian and vegan options. Some standout dishes include: Huevos Rancheros: A hearty dish featuring fried eggs, tomato sauce, roasted kale, refried black beans, and sweet potatoes on a bed of rice. California Bowl: A nutritious mix of rice, quinoa, avocado, red cabbage, sweet potatoes, cheese, black beans, and kale chips. Vegan Pancakes: Fluffy pancakes served with tofu, mushrooms, guacamole, and a side of fresh salad leaves. The café also serves a variety of specialty coffees and fresh juices, with options like the "Red Hot" juice, which combines various berries for a refreshing taste. Friendly and attentive staff, make every visitor feel welcomed. The café is also laptop-friendly, offering free Wi-Fi and a comfortable setting for those looking to work or study. Final Thoughts Whether you're in the mood for a leisurely brunch, a quality cup of coffee, or a productive work session, République of Coffee provides a delightful experience that captures the essence of modern Parisian café culture.

Google
We had the best experience at Republique of Coffee in Paris! Mateo was literally the BEST. super friendly, attentive, and gave amazing recommendations. His customer service was outstanding. The food was an absolute 10/10. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Have been here often. Super friendly and quick service. Great coffee and food. Love the fresh juices especially the Red Hot which has various berries in the mix. One of my go-to places when in Paris!

Yelp
It's a great little spot with delicious food and wonderful service! I had the avocado toast with poached eggs and salmon. It's delicious and very filling. I also recommend their vanilla charcoal latte, it's a little on the sweet side but it's w wonderful drink for those cold mornings/afternoons. The establishment is small but they make excellent use of the space. Bathrooms are downstairs. When you pay, walk up to the counter, you can pay for everything at once or split the check.

Yelp
Such a lovely spot! It was located right next to my hotel which was super convenient. I had the avocado toast with egg and fresh orange juice and it was fantastic! There's something about fresh OJ in Europe that's so different in.a good way. The avocado toast was very filling, I had it for breakfast and felt full until early afternoon even with all the walking the city. I highly regret not grabbing a drink more often because it was near my hotel. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area!

Yelp
Our hotel was just down the road so this place was a very convenient spot to drop in for a quick coffee before heading out to explore the city. We ordered takeaway both times but the space, with very large windows, seemed like a cool place to hang out if that's what you're looking for. The first time I ordered a matcha, which was standard. The second time, I ordered a latte which was smooth and enjoyable. They were reasonably priced and prepared very quickly.

M K.

Yelp
Excellent coffee, but food was mediocre - avocado toast was very cold, probably taken from a fridge and so were the poached eggs.
google avatar

Mark B.

Yelp
Went here after we couldn't get in a popular brunch spot. The specialty is eggs Benedict and that's what we ordered. I ordered salmon with spinach. Also had some cappuccino. Not bad. It probably needed some seasoning but it was not a detractor in this case. It's other specialty is French toast using brioche.

Kristin M.

Yelp
The food was amazing, the service was great, and the servers were very nice (despite us being obvious tourists). We went back the next day to try more. Our favs were the granola bowl and the pancakes and eggs dish. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Jamie C.

Yelp
Delightful little spot! We enjoyed croissants, coffee, huevos rancheros, cinnamon bowl, and the Cali bowl here during our stay in Paris =P I would've loved to try more pastries- they had a banana bread that looked tasty! Service is friendly and the space is very cute and warm. Nice variety of people- a few doing work on laptops. Fantastic people watching on a busy street!

Yelp
Cute brunch spot with an Aussie feel. Seemed to be full of locals stopping in for espresso and a few for meals. MY bf chose this place with my vegan reqs in mind and it was a great pick. I ordered the vegan rancheros, which was a thoughtful and innovative dish. It was full of textures and layers and each turn of the fork unfolded a new vegetable. The main attractions are the firm blocks of tofu nestled on a bed of saffron rice next to a steamed sweet potato. This is all topped with a tomato and onion-y tasting sauce. All other components of the dish are neatly tucked away and I was pleased as they slowly appeared. Can barely remember at this point, but there were black beans, purple cabbage, maybe even an aubergine tucked in there somewhere and other delightful vegetable surprises packed in. I only wished the dish was hotter. It arrived luke warm. Stop in for the interior design and aesthetics, stay for the creative dishes.

Yelp
My hangout in Paris! My husband and I found this place per the Yelp reviews and ended up going there almost every morning we were in Paris. It's a small cafe, with lovely staff who speak enough English to help you get by, and the food! The coffee! let me describe what I ate: A vegetarian sandwich that had been grilled in butter, with cheese and peppers and eggplant (I don't even like eggplant) and other veggies and the best seasoned potatoes on the side. Delicious. The huevo rancheros with the most delicious beans, the eggs swimming in a tomato sauce, cheese, crispy kale, rice, it went on! What a mixture of delicious flavors. Delicious charcoal vanilla lattes, fresh squeezed orange juice or other power juice options, tasty croissants, chocolate or plain. I mean, you can not go wrong at this coffee shop. Make it your home away from home in Paris such as we did.

Yelp
Tasty tasty coffee. Plus there's an SNES so you can challenge the barista to a game of Street Fighter! Republique is one of my go-to's for coffee in Paris. It ticks my main requirements for a solid cafe, and then some. Their vibe is chill, perfect for catching up with friends (the music is at a reasonable volume) or meeting a date. Friendly service. Flying solo? People watch or bring a laptop. There's plenty of seating. Get their Ethiopian espresso for a kickstart, or relax with a noisette or cappuccino. Find Republique of Coffee right by the Republique metro.

Liam C.

Yelp
Probably the best breakfast we ate during our trip to Paris! We were really pleasantly surprised by the salmon tataki in particular, wonderful Asian flavors in a very non-traditional breakfast dish. Avocado toast was presented beautifully but the salmon tataki was the star! I wish we had time to go back again, the Cali bowl looked really good too!

Yelp
Despite the overbearing and mildly depressing thought that this would be my last petit déjeuner à Paris for awhile, I was thoroughly pleased with this cafe/restaurant. I don't know if it was just a beautiful day out that amplified the vibe here but I enjoyed sitting in their window ever so slightly overlooking the street out front with a direct line of sight to the Place de la République making this a perfect people watching place. The staff was friendly-ish and spoke English, seemingly preferably. The place was clean and inviting with a retro vibe to it. I ordered pancakes and loved every piece and adornment that came with them. They were so good that I forgot that I didn't have syrup to go on them. There was a natural (probably the wrong word) sweetness cooked into them. They included strawberries, bananas, fennel seeds, blueberries, pomegranate seeds, and a Greek yogurt topping as well. The mango something juice that I was hyped for tasted very much like oranges juice and for the price I was highly unimpressed with it; not that it was bad, just not worth €6, maybe €2-3. Nevertheless, this is a delightful place to linger and have a great breakfast to go with your espresso.

Yelp
Went to Holybelly at 9:40am, and the line was already put the door. Wayyy too long to wait for breakfast, so we decided to come here. There's plenty of seating inside, half of the room has glass ceiling, so if you'd like, you can bathe in the sunlight while enjoying your morning coffee. I had the americano and French toast. Omg the French toast was sooo good!!!! The coffee was strong, so just be aware. Overall, a good breakfast. Really hoped they would offer some meats options for breakfast, cuz that'll make it a 5 star experience.

Yelp
This is a great place to meet with friends to grab a quick bite and good cup of coffee. I have been several times over the past few years and the service has proven to be quite friendly. The food is fresh and while menu items may seem unusual - I.e. Salmon Tataki with grilled potatoes, couscous and peanuts etc. - it turns out being just right and totally delicious. Coffee and smoothies and juices are a staple there and are delicious. Location is super convenient - right at Metro stop republique off of rue Rene Boulanger.

Yelp
This coffee shop is right outside of our hotel, so we went there nearly every day of the week that we stayed on this side of Paris. Everything we've had was delicious - the Golden Latte, the Charcoal Latte, the Red Hot (a fresh fruit juice blend with strawberries and more!), the pastries are yummy! We had the croissant (when we could get them - they run out and since we are here from California, USA, we sleep late), the chocolate croissant, the banana and carrot bread. I had the "Republique avocado toast" which is so much more than what we get in the states! It has tomatoes, baby lettuce, pomegranate seeds, and even sweet potato on the side. The bread is a multi-grain sourdough and it's so delicious! See photo! This is a veggie/vegan place - and so fresh - what a find! And not to forget - the staff is amazing! Very friendly and helpful! Emilie was especially sweet to us and gave us some great places to explore "local" style. Go to this place! Hope you can get a table! (But they also have "take away"!) Note: No decaf - I drank the caffeinated espresso anyway... Hey, it's vacation!
google avatar

Amy N.

Yelp
Must try their Vanilla Charcoal Latte! Very different flavor and it's delicious! Republique of Coffee has many dishes in a bowl form. Even the most simple Avocado Toast was very flavorful and color with many ingredients. The Pomegranate topping have it a little extra! Though it's only one slice of toast and probably will not really fill you up, I recommend to try. My boyfriend got the Huevos Rancheros. They use goat cheese which has a distinct acquired taste, so if you've never had it before you may want to reconsider. My boyfriend made that mistake and couldn't enjoy it as much as he'd like. PS: There is a restroom in the basement!
google avatar

Elizabeth C.

Yelp
Couldn't get enough of this spot when we were in Paris! It's the perfect balance to all of the really rich (and delicious!) French food we were eating the rest of the day! To pop into this spot for something lighter was really delightful. I recommend it to everyone I know who is going to Paris!
google avatar

Sam B.

Yelp
Great little cafe to grab some breakfast and a coffee. I loved the atmosphere the most when I went. It felt very trendy and modern. I had French toast and it was DIVINE. I had a charcoal iced coffee which sounded weird but it ended up being pretty good. It wasn't my favorite thing during my trip but it definitely made a great breakfast Overall, I'd say that the atmosphere was my favorite part. Great music, friendly staff, decent food. 4/5
google avatar

Laura A.

Yelp
This place is strange in a good way! Their dishes are fresh, with Asian hints, combined with what you regularly anticipate at a cafe. My friend got the yogurt/ granola, and I got the huevos rancheros. It was a strange selection for a first meal in Paris, I agree, but it was highly recommended here. It lived up to it's reviews. Everything tasted fresh and I felt healthier for having it. It was perfectly yummy and nourishing. The coffee was also great!
google avatar

Cecilia C.

Yelp
Great coffee and delicious croissants! Honestly, I think I had one of my favorite croissants here. Staff is very friendly and atmosphere is chill. A really nice cafe if you're looking for something not over the top and with quality food and coffee. Would definitely come back again soon!

Joanna J.

Yelp
There have the best choices in Lattes and their breakfast options. Oh lala. I will definitely go back.
google avatar

John-Nick B.

Yelp
I went to this place based on a very good recommendation. Perhaps it was an off day. I order the Super Green which was very good. For my main course I ordered an Açaí Bowl. Based on what I received I'm going to assume a French Açaí bowl is nothing like the Açaí bowls we have in Hawaii. I got a brown mush that had no remnants of berries or even fruit and soft granola. I do in fact have healthy teeth and do not need my food to be pre chewed or softened like this Açaí bowl. They were out of the acclaimed salmon today. I'd say they were out of Açaí as well.
google avatar

Yelp
This cafe has been my family and i's go to breakfast spot every morning while visiting Paris. The Brioche French Toast is amazing. They also do a great twist on traditional huevos rancheros. Also great coffee but the service is what seperates this place. It reminds me of local coffee house but a great breakfast.
google avatar

Sam R.

Yelp
This review is for the coffee only, don't know what the food taste like but it does look pretty. We just come here for the coffee. This is our third time coming here and the reason we coming back is honestly for one drink: if you haven't tried it, you need to try it now! It's the CHARCOAL LATTE. It is our favorite drink and the reason we come back here every year. The presentation is like any other latte with the leaf? Is it a leaf or whatever it is it's the regular latte look, BUT the coffee itself is grey in color so that's pretty awesome. The taste is like a coffee but with a sweeter flavor profile to it which makes it a nice treat, I usually drink my coffee black but I'm totally fine with this latte. So this time we went I wanted to try something new since my wife got the charcoal latte; I ended up getting the golden latte; which sounds like an awesome drink. TRUST ME do not get it, the coffee was a bitter taste which I don't mind but this was a different bitter like it was rotten bitter. I don't know but I def wouldn't get it again, sticking with the charcoal latte. This place is def underrated for the coffee, more people need to know about this spot! Side note: there are seats outside and seats inside, loved the look of the place inside. Always love when the cafes are aesthetically pleasing right?! This place has a awesome vibe and awesome decor!
google avatar

Marc A.

Yelp
Easily our favorite cafe in Paris. Very good coffee, fresh and delicious food and friendly service combine for a wonderful experience when in the Republique area.
google avatar

Orkan K.

Yelp
Don't go there. We went there with our kids. It was not full. But the baby car from us they don't want it in the Restaurant because they would loose space ! Very unfirendly !
google avatar

Coco K.

Yelp
Super cute place! Highly recommend having a tea or carrot cake! The tea was a bit pricey but tasted great! The coffee looked good as well!
google avatar

Michelle M.

Yelp
This place is at the top of my coffee list in Paris. We had to try the charcoal latte and it did not disappoint. It has a very mild taste and is soothing. I ordered the California bowl which was very fresh and delicious. Everyone else went with breakfast options and had the same feedback. The staff speaks English well and was very accommodating. We enjoyed our time on the patio and would have stopped by multiple times if it was closer to where we were staying.
google avatar

Jun C.

Yelp
Cozy and cute. Plus they have Street Fighter in the corner! I came here for coffee and brunch and it's as close to being in a Brooklyn coffeeshop as you can get in Paris!
google avatar

Allison A.

Yelp
The only place we could find with a chai latte, and what a latte it was. All our drinks were delicious. Try the Golden latte, it's the most yummy healthy beverage you'll have. Their special avocado toast is also delicious. I had It both with the bread and on a second trip I tried the gluten free option atop sweet potatoes. Both amazing. The vibe is awesome and everyone speaks perfect English. I would definitely return here.
google avatar

M M.

Yelp
Very delicious + healthy options. I got the California Bowl while my friend got the Huevos Rancheros Bowl. The place is cute, nice area. Open deck on warm days. Super nice for brunch. Our only issue was that the waitress seemed to have woke up one the wrong side of the bed today, was very unpleasant. Besides that, all around good.
google avatar

Jordan I.

Yelp
3rd wave coffee. Great espresso. I didn't try the rest of the menu but maybe an update later on. Cool vibe.
google avatar

Francesca G.

Yelp
I came here for brunch with a friend, and was blown away by the quality, quantity and presentation of the food. I ordered the brunch menu, which includes an order of huevos rancheros (or I think you can get the tacos), juice, coffee and granola. I chose the green huevos rancheros, which was supposed to be the "spicy" one, but it was a bit on the French spicy side (i.e. not spicy at all). However, it was delicious. The portion was really generous, and it was served with roasted sweet potatoes, quinoa, and fried kale (which is one of my new fave things). The eggs were cooked perfectly, the beans and guacamole were amazing, and the tortilla underneath was really good. Edible flowers were a nice touch too! Juice was good (fresh), coffee was decent (only filter coffee with the brunch), and the granola with yogurt and fruit was great. I would definitely come back here, and would recommend to anyone who wants something different from the usual brunch scene (unless you're dead set on having bacon for brunch of course). My friend had the ceviche, which she thought was great, however is not included in the brunch menu. Overall, a really great brunch and I'm excited to come back!
google avatar

Kevin L.

Yelp
Got their salmon toast, fruit pancake and vanilla charcoal coffee. Everything tastes amazing here. Would definitely come here for breakfast lunch and dinner. The staffs was nice and speaks English. Also make sure to get their vanilla charcoal latte.
google avatar

J D.

Yelp
The charcoal iced latte is so good! It's creamy and vanilla flavored amazingness. The eggs I had were scrambled with paprika and had excellent flavor. It came with pancakes. The service was friendly and our waitress was so nice!
google avatar

Ariel F.

Yelp
Cute vibe. Full of hipsters taking pics of their food. I got the vanilla charcoal latte (pricey at 5.50, right?) which was so sweet I could only handle a few sips. Came here with the intention of working on my computer, but it's not that kinda of spot. It was more a lunch spot than a coffee spot. I left quicker than I'd intended too, as I didn't feel like one person could sit there for too long, taking up valuable table space. The brownie I had was delish:)
google avatar

Rick G.

Yelp
Incredible coffee and wonderful food! I love world-class espresso. And Republique of Coffee has some of the best espresso in Paris. In addition to incredible coffee, their breakfast and lunches are healthy and creative. If you are into great coffee, and would like to have a special and healthy meal, (French/Mex/Veg) check them out. Oh and one more thing, their staff and the owner speak English and are incredibly friendly.
google avatar

Marina Y.

Yelp
It was a solid place for breakfast! The barista spoke English, the service was pleasant and the food was delicious. The juice was fresh and my daughters really enjoyed their pancakes with eggs. I would recommend a visit.
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
The food here is delicious! There are several vegetarian and vegan options available. I recommend the non-vegan options myself... but over a great atmosphere and delicious food/coffee.
google avatar

Ronda W.

Yelp
Amazing!!!! A place for locals and tourists. Doesn't matter what language you speak these guys got you covered! Brilliant!
google avatar

Kim C.

Yelp
French toast and the Pancakes Republique were both delicious! The service was subpar. We had three different server and they failed to communicate with one another. One server from behind the coffee bar was extremely rude and condescending towards us. Poor communication amongst them caused so much confusion. While we were eating a large party (of 7 at a table for 4)SQUEEZED in at a much smaller table, then asked us to shift to another table because they didn't have room. Unfortunately this was enough to deter me from coming back.
google avatar

Beny L.

Yelp
Chai latte and fresh orange juice were absolutely great. The service was real slow though, the music a tad too loud, and 5.5€ for a 30cl drink is too much. Stylish interior and clean bathroom. All in all, if you are around the block and looking for a coffee shop, this is a fine place
google avatar

J L.

Yelp
Seriously amazing! Friendly staff, great interior, excellent food. I had the avocado toast and it was literally the best Ive ever had. Highly recommended!

Emma S.

Yelp
A really cute place! My friends and I had tea and croissants here, both of which were very good. Also, the waitstaff was kind and accommodating to my friend that is vegan. I would definitely recommend coming here!
google avatar

Bonnie C.

Yelp
Dare I say that I like the croissants here better than at Bo & Mie! Service is friendly and can speak English. Both the plain croissant and chocolate croissant had a crisp, layered texture yet buttery flavor.
google avatar

Melanie A.

Yelp
One of the best meals + cappuccinos I had in Paris for breakfast! Excellent chocolate croissants and great service! Note that they don't service breakfast until later and not right when they open. We were a little early but they accommodated my husband & I. I recommend the avocado toast (so surprisingly delicious with pomegranate!) and my husband got the pancakes and eggs which was also great. Great place for a quick meal before your day in the city!
google avatar

Vadim I.

Yelp
Great coffee, good breakfast fried eggs with pancakes.Interesting interior. We go second time here!
google avatar

David P.

Yelp
One of my favorite coffee spots in the city, great coffee, great croissants, and great wifi.
