Beautiful and quiet park. A lot of fwd flamingos. No tickets needed. If you are in the area I really recommend stopping for a little.

This is a beautiful space to go for a walk. The estuary has a few birds to spot just waking around. But probably best to book a boat tour at high tide to be able really explore the area. We didn't want to be there that long. We saw a few storks and silts.

Really nice walks in this area. Quiet and peaceful. Great for dog walking. You can see traditional old buildings and it's nice to walk along the river.

Free, emergency assistance/ care for injured birds of Setúbal area. We found an injured sea bird (Turn?) in PUA and delivered it to this organisation. This is part of Instituto de Conservação da Natureza. Blue and white building tucked away. Thank god they were open! It is good advice to have a towel or small box always in your car! Thank you, I hope he recovers!

There are dogs who jump on and snap at you on the way there, owner just watches and doesn’t tell them to back down Awful for actually trekking there from the main road. Get there by car, or not at all

When we stopped by, it was rather misty (mid Sep). We stopped the car on the side of the road and went up the hill to have a peak at the estuary. What a beautiful landscape. We walked a little bit making sure not to damage plants. We were hoping to see any special birds, but we didn't. We stayed quiet high up as we thought the lower part could be quite swampy. Overall, a beautiful place, peaceful but not a place to stay longer than 30 mins. The other side of the road was also beautiful but we didn't go there. That would have led us to a beach (if any) on the western coast of the peninsula.

Just a nature reserve that is used 5-6 times a year to host parties and religious events with a coffee shop in the old mill/museum thats open on limited schedule, dun for biking and walking around

If you like birdwatching you should consider visiting this place and see storks, herons, ibises, egrets, flamingos, bee-eaters and many other spieces. If you like sightseeing, you surely love to visit this place in June and see the rice fields showing beautiful green colours.
