The room we were given was right by the front door, even though the hotel was not to capacity and they could have placed us on an upper floor. We heard everyone coming in and out of the residence all day and night.||We were only given 2 towels, even though we were four guests. When we went to the front desk (5 feet away), where we were told that we would have to pay $50. When we said that they did not provide enough towels for everyone, she relented and begrudgingly gave us the additional towels.||At one point, my wife was stuck in the bathroom because either the lock was stuck, or the wood expanded. This clearly happened before, because there is a mark in the wood outside the door (see photo). ||There was small black mold in the shower and shower-head (see photos).||The washer/dryer provided in the unit was useless. Firstly, the detergent bin was moldy and smelled (see photo). Secondly, the drying function took hours, and even then, the clothes were still damp.||The front desk woman was not very welcoming and would only provide information when prompted, not helpful for someone who has never been to the country. ||The floors throughout the apartment were not in great shape and there were a lot of poorly repaired areas (see photo). ||There are several pipes throughout the apartment and we quickly learned that these are the waste lines for the upper level apartments. We heard flushing and water running all the time (see photo). ||The proximity to the Eiffel Tower was the only positive of the hotel.
