Residence Hotel La Pelosetta

The Hotel has the prime location ! The hotel was built in the 70’s & still has that 70’s vibe . They do not have AIR CONDITIONING not sure how a person will go in the heat of July/August !! The Pros ➕ 🔺Location, Location, location - the best you will get right across from the beach La Pelosa 🔺Hotel offers 2x Sun beds with umbrella for €15 🔺Clean rooms and good quality linen 🔺Staff welcoming and helpful including the cleaners who do a great job considering how old the building is. The Cons ➖ 🔻No air conditioning 🔻Noisy ceiling fan 🔻Smaller than average bathroom 🔻Bad lighting in the rooms 🔻Beds not comfortable 🔻Pillows flat & worn 🔻Furniture out of date I was told that the Hotel is in the process of change of ownership with the intention to revamp the Hotel - but this could be a while before it happens !!

Just perfetto! We called in to see if they were still open and lucky us! The beautiful smiley ever helpful Maria welcomed us and had us sorted in minutes. We had a very comfortable and clean apartment with its own kitchen and balcony with the best view. Breakfast was more than you could hope for, served a few metres from the beach. All the staff were very happy, friendly and helpful. We are definitely going back. Thank you.

Location Location Location! Place is simple and nice, room was ok and clean. The location is one of the most incredible I ever been !

This is the worst experience. The check in was very late, at 5 p.m. The sofa is not comfortable. There is no space in the room if you extend the sofa. They never clean your room or change the towels. You have to pay extra if you want these services. They offer you only 2 pieces of toilet paper, 2 mini soaps and a few mini packages of shampoo and shower gel. If you need more, you have to buy them yourself. In the room there is only 1 socket for your charger. You have to take out the trash by yourself and you have to clean the dishes before you check out, but they don't give you dish soap. Actually they recommended us just to rinse dishes the with some water. It's not hygienic. The toilet seat was broken, the shower cabin was very small. They don't have mosquito netting and we had a lot of flies and bugs in room. They don't have air conditioning, only a fan. They say they have their own private beach. Actually it is a space with grass and you have to pay 20 euro per person for a sunbed. They recommended us their own restaurant. The staff there was very rude with us. We chose this hotel for Pelosa Beach and we found out that you need a reservation to have access to this beach. But unfortunately it was fully booked a month in advance and the hotel didn't mention this beforehand. This is an expensive place for the view and nothing else.

A NIGHTMARE!!! SCAM, TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE The front desk staff were incredibly rude. Our room had a broken fan (over 94 degrees) and a non-functional toilet. TOILET WAS BROKEN! C'mon, these are basic needs!!! They refused to help. Instead of addressing the issue, they treated us with disdain and even demanded that we leave the hotel. The lack of basic customer service and decency from the staff was shocking. This experience was a complete disappointment and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. A shame!

Very nice although quite basic hotel. Stunning view. Easy access to a lovely private beach (Pelosetta), with comfy grass. You still have to pay 10€ for an 'ombrellone' and 2 'lettini'. Go early to the adjacent beach, La Pelosa, to enjoy it before the crowd invades. Playground for kids. Walk up the hill for an amazing restaurant / lounge bar (Chameleon). Quiet at night, you can only hear birds singing. Kind staff and clean premises. Overall, very good choice for both family vacation and romantic staying.

I 've been there with friends and girlfriend last year for about 1 week. The Residence is pretty basic but clean and quiet. The location is simply stunning. You just cross the street and you're on one of the best beaches in the world. ||Staff is friendly, rooms are clean. The restaurant on the beach open both for lunch and dinner is simply great. Some of the best fish dishes I've ever had. I would definitely go back.

great location, free parking but terrible comfort due to lack of aer conditioning. Too hot in august, unbelievable for a hotel at seaside to provide ceiling fans.
