The location of the hotel is excellent with a small park in front of it. The rooftop bar has amazing views. The rooms were clean, large, and all have a kitchen, living room, and a separate bedroom. Most of all, the staff was so helpful and friendly. Karen, at the front desk, was able to accommodate me with an extra night during a very busy time when other plans fell through for me. She was so helpful and genuinely concerned for me. David, at the valet was also very helpful and kind in helping me figure out my car situation, directions, etc. There was also a younger man at the valet, whose name I think was also David, and he too was very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I've been in a lot of hotels over the years and i would say this in in my top 3 of all I've ever stayed in. i was not expecting such nice accommodations, i stepped into my room and was blown away with the room. i felt like i needed to stay longer to truly enjoy what this room had to offer. Breakfast was also top notch, plenty of options. Staff was great as well, i arrived very late at night having not eaten that day and was greeted with smiles and offered tons of options for me to get a bite. I took the suggestion to a local restaurant "Hooligans-Pub" and did not disappoint! Try the Hooligans Banana Peppers!!! Location was perfect as well, and the view from my room was so cool! if you say you must go to the roof top and enjoy the view and have something to eat at their roof top bar and kitchen!!! I don't know if i will ever have an opportunity to be in that area again but if i do, i will be staying here and be bringing my family for a top-notch experience.

I originally made a reservation with family for a couple nights for a Reds game. They had me at the beautiful view from the rooftop bar. Due to an impending death in the family, I had to add separate additional reservations, since we didn’t know exactly when the death would occur. The front desk staff was very understanding and helpful through the complicated reservations, and they kindly figured out a way to keep us in the same room for 5 days. This included Karen, Shower, Seth, and others. Bradd and Peyton could not have been more helpful with luggage, valet parking, and general kindness in many ways. I didn’t go down for breakfast much over the course of our stay, but my husband said the food was great, and he was impressed with Johanna, Latasha, and he loved Angie, the chef. Sammie at the rooftop bar was another example of the excellent service we received in every aspect of this hotel. Not only the rooftop view, but the view of the two P&G towers from the courtyard outside the dining room was also quite nice. I told my husband that — if I ever had to live in a hotel, this is the one I would want to live in.

Google
Great location, clean and spacious suite and the people were very nice, especially the women working the breakfast. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise being more than we expected. High quality for a free breakfast. It was nice to have valet parking that allowed you to take out your car when you wanted it but call ahead if you are in a rush. The rooftop bar was a nice bonus!

Over the top staff-doesn't get any better. My first interaction was with Peyton, he was very efficient and courteous, making the process of parking and retrieving my car smooth and pleasant, very helpful in assisting with my luggage. Gabe at the front desk was informative about the hotel, dining options and answered all my questions without question or hesitation.|I visited the Rooftop bar, this is such a great bar! I love the ambiance. Jonah, Cali and Kelly make a great team-they are fun, energetic. I did enjoy some light bites, I love that the menu is so creative and offers something for everyone. Hats off to the chef!|Honestly, I'll definitely be back again, this is my new favorite spot!

We booked a two room suite but were told it was not available when we arrived. They provided a solution but we were frustrated with the last minute adjustment. The rooms were not clean. There were crumbs on the floor, what we think was chocolate smashed into the carpet, and missing trim work on cabinets. The upstairs bar was crowded and as people were waiting for the valet, who was awesome, they waited in front of the on the porch. The group was loud, talking about totally inappropriate topics in front of families and ultimately forced people back inside because of the discomfort of language and topic. The service at the restaurant was friendly and fast. The location is hard to beat.

We could not be happier with our stay. When we first arrived, I'll admit there was a little disappointment about the rooftop bar being closed, just because it seemed like such a neat feature. The employees here completely made up for it. Whatever manager is responsible for training these guys deserves a pat on the back, and they deserve it themselves even more. Especially "Jo" at the breakfast buffet. Jo was so curteous and polite, but so were the front desk attendants. I met three of them this weekend and they were great, especially the guy who helped us check in. What a beautiful room with an astounding view he set us up with. Anyone who loves beautiful views should check this out. Our room was also spacious, and easily the best value for service we could have found in the city. I also want to give one last shout out to the valet, who were very professional and helpful.

I am not sure if the hotel is partially renovated but our room was very run down, dirty and wasn't maintained well. I suspect some of this is due to lack of staffing and resources. It was a busy weekend so we asked for a roll away bed to make the room they had left work. After a few hours, no bed was delivered. We eventually got a sketchy looking bed to use. The windows did nothing to block out the noise of the highway. Some of the " improvements" that may have been made to the room did not take into account the ease of cleaning the spaces. Most surfaces in our room needed dusted or repainted. The outlets were not secure and sparked when trying to plug things into them. I wish I had taken more pictures not the chipped paint everywhere and unclean surfaces, bathrooms. The air intake had mold on them and the air conditioning made a horrible rattling noise. The staff was all very friendly but they all seemed completely zapped and overworked. Many areas had only one individual doing the job of several. Staff seemed completely informed of local events that would cause a rush of people in the evening for the restaurant/bar located on the first floor. Again, they seemed extremely overworked and drained. I would not stay here again.

Yelp
It felt like a dark and stormy night, but it was the middle of the afternoon and my ceiling was pouring. Some yahhoo upstairs thought he would fix his own toilet instead of reporting it. Do you have any idea how much a busted water a toilet tank can release...it poured for hours. With the fire alarm going off. Many hours later, holes drilled in ceiling, tubing running into drains, and enough fans that it sounded like I was on an airfield full of fighter jets, I threw up my hands, shoved the cats fat @ss into a carrier and fled. I put animal friendly hotel in the search engine, and this was the first to pop up. "Only a few rooms remaining" it said, and I reserved without going any further. And I'm glad I did. I pulled the dinner I had prepped earlier knowing there is a fully stocked kitchen, and we headed out. Dinner in the room was a definite plus. There was a wedding going on, and I heard them turning other people away. Am I lucky or not to get in here? Lucky is the word. But later when I tried to hit up the rooftop bar, it was taken over by the wedding. Not so lucky now. Oh well, glad I had the presence of mind to bring a bottle of wine with me. Breakfast the next morning was very good, and a definite bonus. I love it here. The only downside is $40 valet parking, but it is in a downtown area. I need a cheaper place to stay, so I moved on. But was happy they were here when I need then the most.

Yelp
We stayed for a few nights during a recent, and both of our first, trip to Cincinnati. It is a very nice building with a nicely decorated albeit small lobby and bar area. We arrived in the evening after a bit of a journey. Unfortunately, the first person we interacted with had an attitude. I walked up to the desk to check in and stated my name. The person working seemed to find this repulsive, as if I had just killed a baby or something. The tone of her response was filled with vitriol, "I still need to see an ID.....". I apologize for egregiously stating my name instead of silently handing you my ID. We were checked in and directed to the elevators. Unfortunately again, one of the elevators wasn't working so there was just one elevator. The good news is that either it wasn't very crowded or we just got lucky but we didn't have to wait unreasonably long at any point. The room was larger than you would expect for a downtown city hotel room. As is standard for a Residence Inn, we had a kitchenette and a few seating areas in the room. The view was ok. The bed was extremely comfortable. The climate control worked very well. The shower was great, very spacious. The location is pretty good, certainly downtown and close to where the Reds play but there are closer hotels to like the OTR area if that is what you are interested in. Every other staff member we interacted with was very nice, welcoming, and a pleasure to deal with. Whoever was working on November 2nd evening needs an attitude adjustment desperately. I would stay here again.

Yelp
Admittedly, the cost of a place is a part of of one's enjoyment and, as such, a yelp rating. Getting something for free, or being overcharged, will always have a bearing on one's feelings about a place. My visit to this hotel was all paid for by my employer as part of our national meeting so I have no idea about the prices paid but I enjoyed every part of my stay. The staff was kind and efficient. My room had a full kitchen and bedroom suite. The Wi-Fi, bathroom, mattress, pillow selection, air conditioner, cleanliness, modern feel, breakfast buffet, water pressure, etc. were all to my satisfaction. Very good for a family or business traveler.

Yelp
HIDE YOUR JEWELRY! Stayed at this hotel for a family wedding because it was the preferred hotel for the function. Looked for a safe in our 2 bedroom suite but could not locate one. Went out exploring the day of the wedding and when we got back my daughter was missing a small jewelry bag containing 2 pairs of earrings. One pair was diamond studs given to her by me & my husband for her 18th birthday. The hotel has done little to help us find out what happened. Housekeeping doesn't come in to clean during your stay so only person to come into our room was someone dropping off more coffee while we were out. Sad. We couldn't even get a call back from a manager until my husband called and yelled at them. Disappointing ending to an otherwise beautiful, celebratory weekend.

Yelp
We were in room 513 for two nights. It was a comfortable clean apartment facing west, with a kitchen, living room, & two large screen televisions. The air conditioning worked well as did the water pressure & everything else in the room. Our room faced a construction site. The loud machinery threw a lot of dust from 7:30 am until 5pm. We brought pasta that I prepared in the kitchen. The kitchen cabinets, pots & pans & the lamps & furniture in our room were pretty beaten up. The room felt more like a dorm than a hotel. The staff here really made our state special; everyone was so friendly and helpful. Appreciated the breakfast it was nice to have a different hot meal each morning. The real eggs, real bacon, delicious coffee were a hit. There were fresh fruits, pastries, hot cereals, cold cereals and juices. They were also at least two people working for breakfast shift and food was always replenished, tables were clean. The valet was very helpful as well. I used the laundry facility on our floor. The hotel has a small fitness room. There is a patio and a rooftop bar that's open from 5 until 10 PM. The lobby was very comfortable with seating, a bar and work spaces.

Mike U.

Yelp
My wife and I stayed in Room 513 for 2 nights. It was a 2 room suite with a view of the Ohio River and neighboring Kentucky. Through no fault of the hotel, a construction site was close by.  The loud machinery threw a lot of dust from 7:30 am until 5pm.  Given the dated furniture in our room, it felt a little dorm like (this is why I am giving it 4 instead of 5 stars) .The staff was helpful, warm and welcoming. There is also a rooftop bar that's open from 5 until 10 PM with nice city views.   We definitely would stay here again. Also it is convenient to many of the places to see in Cincinnati. Some walkable and some because the city offers a free trolly.

Brian A.

Yelp
Excellent downtown location within walking distance of stadiums and Fountain Square. Spacious suites with full kitchen and dining area. Staff is all very friendly and helpful. Lobby has lots of place to sit fireside and enjoy multiple TVs.

Yelp
The first time I stayed at this hotel, about 6 years ago it was stupendous. Great service, clean and comfortable rooms and an atmosphere of elegance. My...how it has changed! I just arrived for a 4 night stay and I wish I had the time to live to a different hotel! The service can be described as blaze' and the room is a complete disappointment. Both of the televisions in my room are not working, the mattress in the sofa bed should not even be called a mattress. When I called down for a bedding set for the sofa bed, they brought up, among the linens, two of the flattest pillows I have ever seen. I had to give my daughter pillows from our bed to use. This morning when I went to the front desk to ask for more adequate pillows I was told that there was nothing else available! What?? Very disappointing! My husband comes to Cincinnati about once a month and stays here and is also very disappointed with how the level of service and the quality of the hotel has drastically gone down each time he comes in. He will be moving to another hotel for his business trips.

Jason R.

Yelp
Great view from rooftop bar, good location, but the room was simply awful! Hair on the walls and floor of the shower. The bathroom completely flooded anytime I took a shower (apparently I was placed in a handicap room, why? I don't know, it wasn't requested). TV didn't work so I had to watch programming on my computer. Constant construction in the front and I had a loud, front row seat! Most disappointing is that I arranged the trip for a meeting, for 7 other people and was rewarded with a terrible room, and staff that didn't care.

Yelp
Well, where to begin. First of all, we had a free stay with Mariott; we were told that we could use this for one of the two nights that we were staying in Cincinnati. In fact, corporate told us just today that the hotel should have rung up our stay as two separate nights in order to make use of our free night that we had earned through their rewards program. When my wife got the bill on Sunday morning, we were not credited with a free night, instead charged for both nights. One of the ladies at the desk said they would get back to her later in the day, but I told my wife there was no way she was going to hear from them. Just from hearing about the interaction, it was obvious that they just wanted my wife to leave, head home, and they would never reach out to her again. Bingo! I was correct. Eventually we got back in touch with the hotel after we filled out the "how was your stay" questionnaire. They said they would address some of our concerns, but continued to insist that we could not use our free stay. Fine, so be it. If that was the only issue, whatever. We will use it another night.... However, I am most upset that we never got the return phone call we were promised. The phone call I knew would never come. What kind of service is that? Especially for a family that often stays with Mariott. In addition, my wife was late to one of our daughter's soccer games because after being told the car would be ready from the valet at a certain time, the car was in fact not ready at that time. Worse, she received attitude from the front desk for reminding them that they had promised the car to be ready at a certain time. And yes, you have to valet, there is no standard parking lot. She even called down 20 minutes beforehand to remind them and they acted like they would have never told her that the car would be ready. What a joke. Other than being told by corporate that they would address the treatment by the front desk crew, there's nothing they can do for us regarding the free night. We will continue to stay with Mariott because overall our experiences have been very positive, but hell will freeze over before we return to this location. My advice would be to look elsewhere when staying in the Cincinnati area.

Yelp
Stayed here for blink. Disappointed that there were 2 weddings that kept us from enjoying the rooftop bar or firepit. Normally the heated rooftop bar has beautiful views. They did late at night let us go to the small upper deck viewing area but you had to get drink in lobby. The small wedding party stayed on the large deck. Rooms were large with full kitchen. We were upgraded to 2 room suite. Nice bedroom and bathroom as remodeled from old apartmenthouse. Outlets by bed wouldnt hold a plug. Breakfast buffet was decent but serving staff couldn't handle the large crowd. Food was out and coffee/tea area was too small. Also ran out of silverware. Closed at 10am on weekend which is early in my opinion. Parking is 35 dollars and valet only.

Gina B.

Yelp
Beds were comfy and the service was good. Didnt like the noise or loud music all night it seemed. Paper thin walls but then again I am a light sleeper. Good location and price isn't bad.

Pattie P.

Yelp
Check-in front desk person was very rude and not helpful. Checking in required a lot more effort than usual even though I had a prepaid room and requested check in through their app. Shower curtain had mold. The conditioner and body wash dispensers in the shower were empty. Towels and wash cloths were wimpy. Although the valet parking staff was very nice, they were unable to drive my car (manual transmission) so even though I paid the required $40 valet parking fee, I had to retrieve my car from the parking lot. I was on the 10th floor and the room was warm and stuffy when I arrived. Although I turned on the A/C the room never cooled down a degree. This in an overpriced hotel and definitely not worth it! Very disappointed!

Yelp
It was not a good feeling staying here. I was here for a work trip and when I checked in at 1 pm the front desk manager said there were no 1 bedroom suites left that my work group were booked in (they probably gave away my room) so she needed to downgrade me to a studio. I had to get ready and be at work by 2 pm so I suggested that I can check into my room and have housekeeping clean it while I was at work. The front desk manager refused and said it was against their policy. I asked to speak to a higher up and he suggested I change and get makeup and hair ready in the bathroom. After traveling since 3 am from Chicago, IL with a layover I was exhausted. I will not change in a hotel bathroom. I just wanted my room. I was then told to sit for 10 min 30 minutes passed and spoke to another front desk lady and she said you're just gonna have to wait "you are not that special". This is no way to speak to a guest at their hotel. On top of that they called my company and said I was rude and disruptive. I didn't raise my voice one bit. I was firm but stayed calm and collected. What probably set the front desk manager off was I asked for her name, Tara. I couldn't help but felt discriminated here as I am an asian female in Ohio. This validated the fact that my blond coworker who complained and was moved 2 times for received a drink voucher for the inconvenience. I got nothing. I did get my room but not without the hassle and the worst customer service treatment I've ever felt in a Marriott. Although I'm Gold status with them this really puts a bad taste in my mouth and I'm reluctant to stay at Marriott hotels ever again.

Fifi L.

Yelp
Great rates and space. It could have been a little cleaner but I'd stay here again! It's close to everything and the breakfast has a lot of great options!

Michael M.

Yelp
Location couldn't be better, 15 minute walk to the stadium or downtown restaurants, we did both in one night with a 3 year old in tow! Good size rooms which were clean and very friendly staff. The park across the street was also very pretty.

Tara S.

Yelp
Hands down one of the best hotels me and my fiancé has stayed in! Starting from us entering the hotel and being greeted by the friendly staff. Check in process was quick and smooth. Since it was our first time at this location, the front desk provided us the details about the restaurant and pointed out where the bar and complimentary breakfast will be held. Our room was very clean and the king bed was so comfortable! We didn't want to leave. We definitely decided this hotel will be our go to hotel when we are in Cincinnati. The location is close to everything. We didn't have problem finding a parking spot on the street. However, we were unable to locate a parking garage or lot nearby. Now, let's move on to the complimentary breakfast. I was worried that it would just be a couple items, but it was a full spread and it was really delicious. They had eggs, bacon, even turkey bacon, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, waffles, bagels, muffins, and coffee.

Yelp
Great hotel for Cincinnati visit! I checked into the Residence Inn for the first time during my business trip to Cincinnati recently. Overall, I would rate the hotel a solid 4 star. This hotel is about 20 minutes from CVG airport and is within walking distance to many major business buildings within downtown Cincinnati and the baseball stadium. The hotel is directly across a park and the immediate area feels relatively calm and safe. From talking to the staff there, I was informed that all hotel rooms are suites (with kitchen) as the building was formally an apartment building. My room was a nice one bedroom suite, with full kitchen, a nice living room and a separate bedroom. For amenities, there was a small gym in lobby with basic cardio equipment and some weight machines. There was also bars on the first floor and on roof top. Complementary breakfast is served every morning from 6:30 am, with good selection of eggs, yogurt, fruits, sausages and cereal. The only drawback is how slow the hot water comes on through faucets. Typically, I would need to turn on the shower for a full 2-3 minutes before the water gets warm enough to jump in. My hotel cost was $199 per night with additional $45-50 for taxes and fees. The staff was also very helpful with directions and luggage during my stay. Will return to this hotel if I need to go to Cincinnati again for future business trips!

Sean K.

Yelp
I have stayed here now several times over the last several years, all for family events. Over that time, I've gotten a consistent read on some things I really like here, and a couple I don't. The staff is mostly great! The crew out front, running the valet is on it. They recognize you immediately and ask if you need help parking, getting to your room, or finding somewhere locally to visit. Although I never park with them, they've been very helpful every time, even offering to call if the meter maid arrives so that I know if I still have time left on the street. Pro tip: there are a couple free spots at the corner of the park. Watch for those and you can save some money. The front desk, as well as house keeping and maintenance keep things rolling also. When we noticed that the pans in our room were in rough condition, I made a call and got them to bring a brand new set. The rooms are in great condition, and are wonderfully set up and furnished. Ours was not a suite, and it had a nice little dining area, sitting area, large TV, and very comfy bed. The window overlooked a courtyard with an outdoor fireplace. Besides the scratched pans, my only complaint is regarding the breakfast, particularly the eggs. They are consistently gooey and wet, not cooked even close to all the way. I don't know anyone who prefers them this way, so it's rather confusing. That aside, the breakfast ius reasonably good, and the coffee is decent. If they fix the eggs, I will update this to 5 stars.

Bill S.

Yelp
Great hotel to stay in downtown Cincinnati. Close to sporting venues, Reds games and everything else you stay in a city for. Valet parking only.

Patrick H.

Yelp
Always a fan of residence inns. Rooms are clean and nice. The staff is fun and courteous. I only took away one star because I was hoping for a pool. If they have one I could not find it. I have to make a special note about the gentleman working the valet. He was so nice and friendly. What a great way to greet someone to the hotel. Really nice person. Thank you for holding the umbrella over my head all the way to the door. You did not have to do that

Daniel P.

Yelp
I had to sleep in a warm room for four out of five nights of the duration of my stay. Apparently they installed a new HVAC system and forgot to read the owner's manual. I don't think I am requesting much when I ask that the temperature control in a hotel room work. I have stayed at Marriotts for decades and have never had such a poor experience. In addition to the HVAC issue several others came up. First, the sheets were stained with what appeared to be blood (I'll spare you the picture). That in and of itself is absolutely unacceptable. I should have reported this on the first day but, frankly, my work days in Cincinnati were so long, and the hotel was so unresponsive, that I did not want an additional aggravation and just chose to sleep on the other side of the bed. Second, the chair in the room was ripped. Perhaps not the biggest issue but this is more reminiscent of a $30-road side motel than a Marriott. Finally, the front desk staff was generally uncaring and uninterested in guest satisfaction (or at least that is how it appeared to me). I would however be remiss if I did not commend some folks who actually seemed to care. The only person with any initiative was a bearded gentleman who came up to my room and offered a box fan and an open window to alleviate the temperature issue somewhat. The breakfast staff was also lovely.

Yelp
So my anniversary was Monday, I had an Airbnb and it was cancelled that morning! I was devastated. I needed a hotel that had a kitchen because we had a romantic dinner planned. I called the front desk and got Kyle on the phone. I was pretty frantic and when I say he was the right person to calm me down. He was SIMPLY AMAZING! He not only got me a room with a beautiful view of the river and a huge kitchen but by the end of the call I was laughing and calm. He even let us check in early. We LOVED the room but not only the room, the rooftop bar was a show stopper. We meet some great people. There is a really nice courtyard that hubby and I sat to have coffee. There is also free breakfast served and really delicious. Everything packaged individually due to COVID. This hotel is within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and fun activities. Lastly, one of my favorite parts, we checked in and walked right into a chilled bottle of nice champagne and chocolate covered fresh fruit and a hand written card! This was a fantastic over the top anniversary all because of Kyle and the fabulous team at this hotel! We WILL be back soon!

Yelp
This is a nice property with all the things a business traveler needs. I'm staying here on my first trip to Cincinnati for work, and I'm please with everything. The rooms are very large and have all the amenities I need. There's a free breakfast, workout room, and best of all, the wifi actually works! This is how all business oriented hotels at this price point should be!

David H.

Yelp
If you're in downtown Cincy this is THE place to stay. Location is perfect with a short walk to the Reds ballpark, Fountain Square, and pretty much all of downtown. There's a Skyline Chili a 5 minute walk away too. Rooms are very large and modern with a full kitchen minus oven and all the cooking supplies/dishes you'd need. I limited myself to making free microwave popcorn but the bowl came in handy. Beds are really comfortable too. Be warned though if you stay on the second floor the Phelps Bar plays outdoor music that can get a little annoying. The have a free breakfast and it's nothing special but it does the job. They have the usual coffee, muffins, eggs, potatoes, sausage etc. and one of those self serve waffle makers. No free dinner or happy hour here like at some locations. Staff is very friendly and will go above and beyond to help out. They jokingly made me promise to come back and stay here next time I'm in town. Check out the rooftop bar of the weather is good since you get an awesome view of downtown and the river. I could even see thousands of empty seats at the Reds game. Oh and they have a little patio with a fountain in the back, perfect place to read or just relax for a few minutes.

Jessica C.

Yelp
Service was above and beyond! From all of the valet attendants to the employees at the front desk, everyone seemed to genuinely care about me. The rooftop bar is a must see. What a view! Breakfast was good. The hotel room resembled an apartment, making it very home-like with a kitchen. Wouldn't stay anywhere else for my next visit to Cincinnati!

Bil M.

Yelp
This property is gorgeous. It's in an old area of town with easy access to downtown restaurants. What really sets this property apart from others is the people. The valet remembered me by name everyday, the front desk people loaned my coworker a phone charger, and Theresa in the restaurant talked to us about our business, asking insightful questions. The food in the restaurant was very good, but the breakfast buffet was just slightly better than other Residence Inns. The rooms are spacious, up-to-date, and quiet. I've stayed here twice in the past few months and will stay here on my next trips. And I haven't even been to the rooftop yet!

Brian J.

Yelp
The rooms are spacious. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is delicious! Why not 5 stars you ask...Well the housekeeping staff needs a overhaul. I have stayed here numerous times for work and every time it's the same issue! The housekeepers dont like to clean so do ask for your room to be refreshed because it won't happen. The young lady with dreads is the same one who neglects to honor any requests. Will I stay here again... yes! Don't get me wrong the housekeepers suck but everything else is 5 stars!

Yelp
I recently stayed nearly a week at this Courtyard Marriott and couldn't believe the incompetence of the staff and management. For starters, our room had NO heat, we only received one day of housekeeping service for the week and received one new towel; each day we returned our car to the valet only to discover that they had checked us out so we had to remind the staff of our actual departure day; upon our departure, we texted valet with no response, only to discover that valet was not available at 5:00 AM. I explained that we had to get to the airport and could the staff either retrieve our vehicle or direct us to its location. The response from the staff member who seemed to be in charge was, "I just got here at 3:00 AM, and I don't have a clue" where valet parks cars. I was told they would have to call someone to get direction. I asked if they could find our keys which they located in the valet booth. Luckily the access card was on our key ring so we walked to the closest parking garage and found our car by clicking the horn as we walked up the ramps from the key fob. I would suggest staying at any other hotel when visiting downtown Cincinnati...many other plausible options nearby.

Yelp
I have zero complaints about the Residence Inn! As a woman traveling by myself, my three nights' stay at the Residence Inn was wonderful. I used the valet, who assured me my car was in covered parking (since it was my personal car, this was reassuring and worth the cost). The valet was great, even had recommendations for things to do and stay. Check-in was easy, and there's a tiny market if you need ice cream or a bottle of water. Things like that. There's a gym. Breakfast is included, and the variety varies by day for the hot items. If you want to dine in your room, you can call down to the Phelps Bar and order for pickup down there. My room had one living area with kitchen, desk, and TV/sofa, and then another room as the Master and bathroom. I had so much space to work and live, I felt very much at home! (And I've known friends who had smaller apartments... this was huge.) Clean too. Zero complaints, super comfortable! And the rooftop bar? Wonderful! I felt privileged to stay there. I even walked to dinner at Sotto one night. Oh, and when I left dishes in the sink one night? Housekeeping washed them up for me. Now, I do make it a practice of tipping housekeeping, and maybe my little solo wine glass looked sad in the sink by itself. So they took care of me and left the sweetest note after I left the tip at the beginning of my stay. They also noticed that I used the daily makeup removal wipe and started leaving me two.

Yelp
First time here. I usually stay at the River Center Marriott when I'm in town but the rest of my coworkers were staying here and I might have to always come here. My studio was HUGE. I just wish I was staying a little longer in my spacious room. :). I would recommend this location for its location, it's rooftop bar, its pretty courtyard area, service and room quality. Really nice but short stay here. I would absolutely recommend.

Yelp
I little birdie told me that this was the top rated Residence Inn in America. If this little worm of information is true, then I can totally understand why. Don't judge. This is not the "norm" Residence Inn you're used to.This Residence Inn is modern, chic, clean, relaxing and dare I say, approachably swanky. And although it's downtown (just a few blocks away from the Freedom Center and the ballpark) it's nestled away in a little nook, where you you are unaffected by congestion, highways or foot traffic. As soon as I pulled up in my cab, I knew this place was special. Outdoor patio seating with trendy furniture and cocktail menus frame the entrance and from the moment you walk in, you're treated to warm and attentive service. Adjacent to the lobby is the Phelps bar, which to my surprise had a great selection of wines, bites and a knowledgeable and friendly bartender who not only went out of her way to pour me numerous samples, but also took it upon herself to show me around to the back patio to see the fire pit. Not bad for my first 3 hours here! As for the suites...they are serious. Or rather I should say, "surrrrrrious" so that you understand the emphasis. The kitchen is spacious (larger than the one in my own apartment) with new appliances and stainless steal features. There is full living room and work area with a flat screen, couch and desk for you to perch and the bedroom provided for additional breathing room. And the bed was incredibly comfortable. In fact, the only hotel bed that I can think of to rival this bed is at The Westin. Oh and there is complimentary breakfast that is not all jenky and stuff. Although it's continental, it's well staffed with fresh juices, breakfast sandwiches, waffle maker, pastries, oatmeal, fresh fruit and more. Would I stay here again? Umm...duh, no doubt about it. I'd recommend it to anyone!

Got the help I needed in a pinch From Regina T at the front desk!! She helped me when I needed and was very pleasant. Place was clean and good service. The woman at breakfast keeps the place spotless and the food bins full!!! We'll be back.

Yelp
Great service from Cassie at the Top of the Park rooftop bar! Amazing customer service and mixology knowledge. Anyone would be lucky to have her as their bartender. 10/10

Yelp
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Residence Inn. Upon arrival, I was pleased to see this hotel felt somewhat hidden from the downtown hustle & bustle, while still remaining in a super convenient downtown location. Our valet was friendly and even had alternative parking suggestions if we were uncomfortable using the hotel valet service ($24). The front desk attendant was extremely nice, professional and made the checking in process super smooth. Walking into our room we all had one of those "ahhhhh" feelings. It was spacious for a studio, had a full kitchen (with new stainless steel appliances), dining area and the living area felt separated from the sleeping area, which was nice since we were staying with another couple who were using the sofa bed. The rooftop bar was a huge bonus and was the perfect way to kick off our evening as Cincinnati visitors. Our room had a great view of the courtyard, which had a fire pit and lots of comfy chairs. Unfortunately we were only staying one night and didn't get to hang out there. It looked super relaxing! While the room wasn't inexpensive at $210 (after taxes and fees), It was definitely worth it and I would love to stay again!

Yelp
Great location. Really nice hotel. Awesome rooftop. Yelp is demanding that I Write more just to post a review. Stop making me write more word just to post a review that is stupid. And really kinda like cyber bullying. Take what you get and stop asking for more.

Yelp
This was perhaps one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Friendly staff. Great room with a great view over the city. The food was great as well. I loved the breakfast. The hotel was walking distance from anywhere I needed to go. The ball parks, shopping, and restaurants.

Yelp
I live in Cincinnati but needed a place to stay downtown for a weekend "staycation" with the boyfriend. I definitely chose a great hotel! Seriously THE BEST Marriott I've ever stayed it -- even better than most of the timeshares I've been to! First of all, this place is beyond gorgeous -- the decor is better than most homes I've been to: stainless appliances in the kitchen (including a dishwasher) marble counter-tops, chrome bar stools, dimming lights... it's just all so amazing that I don't even think I can articulate it. Secondly, the price isn't obscene. For this caliber of a hotel, I was so happy about the price-tag. In addition, the bar. Wow... the bar. Gorgeous, dark, glistening hardwood, a huge array of wines, TVs, and top-shelf drinks. On top of it all, the staff has some of the friendliest hotel employees I've ever encountered. The elevator is only 20 feet from the front desk, but they still escorted me to it and pushed the button for me. A bit over-the-top but so flattering I couldn't object. And, I can't forget the location. Lytle Park is a quaint little spot and just a beauty to look at from my room. Our view also showed us the Ohio River clearly, along with its bridges. It was just so perfect. You can't find a better hotel in the Cincinnati area... or anywhere!... for such an affordable rate. (On a side-note, this building used to be an apartment building that a friend of mine stayed in. The before-and-after comparison is just jaw-dropping!)

Yelp
When traveling to Cincinnati this is a convenient location for a nice stay. Check in experience: mobile check in meant all was (almost) ready when we arrived. (Our key didn't work so I had to get it reset. Not a big problem.) Even a 12:30 AM check in was pleasant with a friendly and professional representative. Sleeping room was spacious, clean, comfortable sitting room and bed. 2 sizable TVs. We had a corner room--lots of windows! Room was in the 2nd floor. While we could see the roof immediately outside, we did have a great view of P&G headquarters. (Photo posted). Breakfast: hot. Standard selection for Residence Inn. Lots of seating--nice because it was a busy Saturday morning. Food was replenished quickly so there was no standing looking at empty serving dishes. Of note: the staff! In our experience here everyone had a smile and friendly greeting -- from desk, to housekeeping, to breakfast room personnel. 2 individuals other than servers asked about our breakfast: "Was it pleasing?" "Did we need anything?" Dishes were bussed while we sat there. My "Thank you" received a hearty "My pleasure." Standard of service is HIGH. My daughter, who lives in Cincinnati, says this is a favorite place to stay when they come downtown for a night on the town. Survey says: recommended! Two thumbs up!

Yelp
Residence Inn by Marriott on E 4th Street was quite the surprise upon walking through the door. The staff welcomed us with open arms to help with luggage and get us checked in in a timely fashion. Christina was very quick and informative about what we had available and we had our key and were in the elevator in 5 minutes flat. The valet was also very accommodating and friendly, which made the welcome even better. Our room is quite nice, with a full kitchen, fold out couch, large main bedroom and nice bathroom. We don't have the view of views, but everything else the hotel has to offer is wonderful. We have free wireless throughout the hotel and the downstairs area has instant free wifi. The hotel offers a free breakfast buffet every morning with a great spread of eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, coffee, juice, bagels and more. It's quite the operation as well because everything is constantly fresh and full! They have a full bar downstairs that is open around 4pm and provides you with comfort, food, drinks, tvs, a friendly staff and an overall good time. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in the greater Cincinnati area, as well as any locals who are looking for a fun staycation.

Yelp
This hotel was phenomenal. It was clean and the room was so spacious. The hot breakfast was great and even included an iced coffee station, which I have never had in a hotel before. The staff was friendly. It was perfectly located for our needs and you were able to walk where you needed to go, which was appreciated in less than perfect weather. It was raining our second day and they even lent us an umbrella as we were leaving. That kind of little thing makes for a great experience! The only complaint I have is that one of the elevators wasn't working so it could take quite long to get up and down which was frustrating when things were busy.

Yelp
This is my second time staying here (for a week each time) and as someone who travels for work a lot I'm loyal to the Marriott brand and stay at many hotels. This hotel is clean, comfortable, and has great service. The staff are super friendly and the hotel is easy to find. Parking is valet only. It's in walking distance of a decent amount of things downtown! I highly recommend staying here if you're in the Cinci area.

Yelp
Staff was extremely friendly. From the overworked valet guy to the night security guy who helped me get to my car at 5:30 in the morning to get a charging cord. Bar on the top of the roof is really cool. Would definitely go back.

Yelp
First time ever to Cincinnati. The staff was helpful and the room was amazing, very high end but not too expensive. Great experience and comfortable beds. The entrance on the street needs some updating but the overall visit made up for any shortcomings. The breakfast offered more than the average continental items and we enjoyed our stay.

Yelp
Love the hotel- comfortable, clean and the breakfast buffet is great. I removed a star because the smell in the lobby is terrible. It's a mix of cleaning supplies and feminine products- truly don't know if it's a smell they voluntarily pump into the place but if so, they should save the money and stop immediately.

Yelp
Maggie, Theresa, Rachel...everyone is amazing. From the folks helping with breakfast the the folks helping with valet, this is an amazing place to stay. Customer service is paramount and perfect. The property is an old apartment building remolded for a hotel so all of the rooms are spacious suites.

Yelp
I chose this hotel in collaboration with my fiancée (she found it online), with the purpose to house our friends for my older brothers bachelor party weekend. We had 3 rooms, and the rooms were amazing. Spacious; it had a kitchen (refrigerator, stove top, enough counter space), desk area, living area. There is plenty of room for activities. The location could not have been better. We were within a walk to everything. Anywhere we wanted to go in downtown or OTR, it was only a leisure walk away. Aside from the layout of the room and location, what really makes this place special is the people. The are all friendly, inviting, accommodating, positive, and helpful. During my stay, the communication was always top notch. All the staff I encountered were wonderful, but a name in particular stands out to me because of her attentiveness and professionalism. Kaitlyn (not sure about spelling) is the front desk operator. She provided me with answers and was very accommodating, helpful and honest with her feedback. And I'll be the first to admit, I had a lot of questions. This weekend will always be remembered by those involved. A once in a lifetime event was had here and the hotel was the cherry on top. I recommend this place from the highest level of my perspective.

Yelp
Huge open rooms in a beautiful building. My room seemed the size of two suites nearly. Great prices. Huge kitchen, spacious bathroom, gorgeous views! Convenient little kiosk of drinks & snacks directly behind the check-in desk is fairly priced. Tremendously friendly staff in every single position. Lindsay and Kaitlyn at front desk were super sweet. Valets were all cool guys. Barely a 4-9 min walk to Yardhouse & scenic locations like the bridge & Ohio River. I distinctly, 1000% left the "do not disturb" tag on my door but still returned to find all trash cans emptied & bunch of other housekeeping obviousness, so if you're someone who doesnt want anyone entering while your things are unguarded, you might wanna put your stuff in a safe. They keep the whole place super clean.
