Residence Inn Washington, DC National Mall

Our 5 day stay at Residence Inn Washington DC National Mall was a superb experience. The room was spacious, clean, good amenities, everything worked well. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The breakfast-included service with a variety of freshly prepared coffee, eggs, waffles etc allowed my family to get on the go quickly and satisfied to start each day! || When we return to DC this hotel will be our choice because it's location is ideal and the rooms are comfortable.||Surely one staff member that we will never forget is Charles ( at the concierge desk). He was so very helpful at all times, he has all the contacts and orientations one needs. His friendly and respectful personality stands out. We could tell that he does his work with passion. Charles is an asset to the Residence Inn on E Street SW!

Great location, walkable to many attractions and dining. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our family ( including 8 yo & 13 month old) enjoyed the good and plentiful breakfast where Antinette took good care of us. She doted on our kids and we looked forward to seeing her each morning. Patrica was helpful too. Management make note of the great staff you have!!

Fairly close to most Smithsonian museums, White House and Capitol building (15-25 minute walk or similar metro ride) and walkable to restaurants and Safeway grocery store, so good location if you're planning on going to those places. We had a two room suite with kitchen and living room, which was great for our family. Train comes by very close to hotel, but we were not bothered by noise. There were a couple of common hotel issues that came up (only one of our room keys worked, breakfast room is very busy, pool and hot tub very busy after dinner time, elevators slow) but overall it was a good stay. Small gift shop and keg beer access with room key in lobby.

great location in DC for waking as well as hopping on the metro|very nice staff, excellent breakfast buffet, well kept common area|our pull out couch was a bit worn with a very thin mattress that didn’t matter to a younger kid but it likely would to a teen or adult. |the pool area was clean, well stocked with towels and full all the time….quite joyful overall |||Bonus was a NASA office across the street with an short interactive exhibit in the lobby||no onsite restaurant so you need to get delivery, or go out. the restaurant next door is just okay but does not have pizza despite the signage||use the mini kitchen equipped with 2 electric burners, and a microwave along with a full size fridge and a dishwasher. dish soap to get you started included||we noticed there was a laundry room in the pool fitness center area ||we’d stay again!

It was a great stay. This hotel is closed to many museums, they are within reasonable walking distance. Our granddaughter enjoyed the pool. Room was super clean and comfortable. Mainly interacted with front desk at night and he was very helpful so was the security person. We enjoyed the breakfast. The staff manned by Ms Tania was super friendly especially Ms Felicia. For sure I will recommend this hotel to friends and family.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everyone at the front desk were always very helpful and made out stay pleasant. There is breakfast served and the hotel is conveniently located close to the Metro subway that made our travel around the city so much easier (Blue line takes you everywhere). The only cons were the very firm beds. I felt like I was sleeping on a rock that made my sore back miserable.

I had such a great experience. I arrived early and was greeted by Tanya and I'm greatful for that interaction. She was warm kind and inviting if you looked up the word hospitality in the dictionary her face would be next to it. Tanya stored our bags and offered various restaurants and tourists attractions for my daughter and I to visit while we waited on our room. Once we checked into our room it was found to be clean and spacious. Always up to par as we only stay with Marriott. The breakfast bar was impressive the best I've ever seen at a extended stay hotel with many options to choose from. During the checkout process we were greeted by Ebony another kind addition to the Marriott family. The staff were all great even the dining hosts smiled and assisted during breakfast with a great attitude. I would definitely stay at this location again!

Positive: The ladies preparing and serving breakfast were the best! They were always polite and helpful. The one thing this Southern family wished was added to the menu was biscuits and gravy. Homemade biscuits, too. Us Southerners love our biscuits. Negative: Did not like the hard as rock bed. It made my back problems worse
