Residence la Gancia

A luxurious stay! The location is very central in Trapani, close to the historic center where you can shop and enjoy the cuisine of the wonderful Sicilian restaurants around. The sea view from the room was simply breathtaking! The room was very comfortable, beautifully equipped with kitchen items as well. The bed was also comfortable, the shower delightful! Breakfast was simply unmissable and the best we had during our entire trip in Sicily, after more than 20 days of traveling. The service from all the reception staff was very kind and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

We recommend this hotel without hesitation. It is perfectly located with wonderful views from the upper rooms, clean well appointed bedrooms and absolutely delightful and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet is excellent with superb service. We have stayed here many times over the past 12 years and always look forward to returning.

Great little hotel, you couldn't be more centrally located if you tried. It is right next to the main couple of streets with all the al fresco dining etc.||Parking is easy and nearby, just use the easy park app to pay. ||Definitely recommend. A couple of nights is probably enough to explore Trapani, three at the most, and then move on if you are exploring Sicily.

We stayed two nights in Trapani at Residence La Gancia. It is located right at Piazza Merato del Pesce and our GPS had a little bit of trouble finding the place, but once we got there, we were able to pull up into the Piazza and unload our car to check in. There is street parking all along the one way road Lungomare Dante Alighieri (leading away from the hotel) and we were always able to find parking close by. The hotel is beautiful and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room and bathroom were large and very comfortable. There is a big rooftop deck where the great breakfast is served. By late afternoon there is staff on the deck so you can order a beverage if you would like, while enjoying the beautiful view of the ocean. Outside the front doors, it is just steps to the left to walk along the city ramparts, or a few steps to the right are the steps down to the beach. And in behind the hotel is the old town of Trapani, with lots of restaurants. I would definitely recommend Residence La Gancia.

Very nice hotel, perfect location in the older part of town. The staff was so helpful and kind and the rooftop breakfast/bar (in the evening) has a stunning view! The only minus was that it said "free parking" on booking.com and there was no free parking but they helped us find one that cost 8 euro/day which was fine. So just something i be aware off!

Loved it here from the moment we were greeted by Andrea—very helpful with many recommendations. The breakfast chefs worked hard to provide a beautiful spread, and the room was huge large balconies overlooking the sea with sunset views.

Beautiful hotel, perfectly located in the center of Trapani with parking lots nearby. The sea view from room and rooftop is amazing. The rooms are spacious, clean and super quiet. Also nice and big bathrooms. The hotel offers a delicious breakfast.

Very well appointed hotel with the most exceptional view of the sea the check in and office were very nice and helpful great location and free street parking from 8 pm to 8am you will need the parking app so you can add time it is 1 euro per hour

Great location with beautiful views from the breakfast room/cocktail bar. Room was beautiful with ocean view. Staff couldn't have been better. Not the biggest breakfast buffet of our trip but there were plenty of choices, no complaints. Parking is a bit of a walk but was inexpensive. We had a wonderful stay here.

Great hosts, always went above and beyond to help out in any way possible. I've already booked my next stay here because of the customer service alone. The rooms are great, the location is perfect. Everyone has made my trip there perfect and i couldn't ask anything better. Thank you.
