A lovely location for an affordable stay. The staff are polite, professional and trustworthy. The apartment includes a lockable safe for valuables. Some small quirks with cleanliness (toilet was a bit smelly, a few dusty corners) and availability of cleaning supplies could be better on check in, these were resolved without needing to query the morning after checking in. The apartment had fantastic cooking facilities; perfect for a holiday on a budget. The view takes the cake as the best feature, right by a dock overlooking the bay where you can sit and enjoy a drink any time of the day. Parking availability was good, with 5 available spots, first come first serve. Beautiful garden surrounding the property and a gracious groundskeeper who greets politely with a smile and keeps the plants watered (such a lovely smell, in the Mauritian heat). Absolutely charming!

Overpriced and Unpleasant – Stay Away from This Place in Grand Baie I had a terrible experience at this property in Grand Baie, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere. Despite the high cost, the quality and service were shockingly bad. There were no toiletries provided, the AC was extremely noisy, and the shower area flooded every time due to poor design. Cleanliness was clearly not a priority, and the whole place felt shady and unwelcoming. The worst part was the owner’s attitude—not only was he rude in person, but he even made a racist slur, blaming issues on “Indian guests” instead of taking responsibility for his own property’s problems. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable. If you read other reviews, you’ll see a pattern of the owner responding rudely to any criticism, rather than trying to improve. For the price they charge, you get none of the basics and a lot of disrespect. There are many better and more welcoming options in Grand Baie—do yourself a favor and avoid this one.

The apartment complex was ok. The room was big and clean. Even the bathroom too. There was a construction on the "beach" which we had in our time (03/2025) Sitting on the balcony was a bit disturbed by the excavator. Because of the construction I suggest to asked if there still working.

Stunning location overlooking Grand Baie Mauritius . Sunrise & Sunset were spectacular .

Very good value for money. Very beautiful view, spacious and very clean rooms

Clean bed sheets and towels. Great view of the bay from the balcony. Wi-Fi router in every room but was poor, often didn't work on the balcony. Interrupted. Rooms were cleaned, even though I specifically did ask not to do it. Parking was available, but very tight. There was a smell in the room. From a spray bottle or something. It didn't go away for a long time.

Atrocious service. Rude owner. Had to cut short a two day stay here at this property to one. The air conditioning was noisy and the bathrooms were leaking. Recommend staying away from this place.

Spent a week staying at Residence Peramal and loved the experience. Clean apartments having all basic amenities one should want during the short stay. The beautiful sea view adds as cherry on the top.
