Residencial Fortunato

Best location, at the edge of the pedestrian street, close to bars and restaurants but quiet for sleeping. The ground floor is not renovated yet at this point (November 2024) but the first and the second floors are very pretty. We got a big room on the second floor from where we could see the ocean from the window. The owners are very kind and friendly. Everything is clean.

Perfectly located next to the cute little shopping street and a few minutes walk from the beach. Greeted quickly and efficiently. We booked the sea view with balcony. Very roomy roof terrace with beautiful sea views. Room was adequate with double bed, large wardrobe, desk, side tables and chair. Yes the neighbours can be a bit noisy as not great soundproofing. Armande was very friendly and attentive. |This drops a point for very basic breakfast and outdated bathroom. Breakfast was bread rolls, fruit choice of banana, apple and oranges. Three cereal (choco, cornflakes and sweet granola). Sliced cheese and ham. Sliced bread for toast with butter or two types jam. Coffee and tea available and water/juice. I say basic as if you want low carb it's a bit difficult. Maybe a simple selection of Greek yoghurts could be offered? |The bathroom is a bit outdated but functional. The shower was a bit small with simple shower head. Fresh towels and soap are provided. There is a lift if needed. Doors locked at 12am. |All in all, I would definitely recommend and return if in the area. The bus stop is a short walk away and the main bus terminal is about a 20 minute walk.

An excellent space for a family of 4. Looking onto the beach, with it's own private pool. Secure parking, and minutes walk from the main eateries. All is new and very clean. Dishwasher and washing machine included. At times the night time neighborhood can be noisy, as the walls block nothing. In general a good safe location.

The room was in bad shape, there was mold all over the bathroom and the bath was really small. The closet smelled bad and likely also had mold. The area was great, however, and was really close to both city centre and the beach.. The service was okay in my opinion, but the manager seemed a bit frustrated over something, and the new clerk was not really allowed to do her job without him hanging over her - that was kind of annoying

What an incredible value for the price! The location is unbeatable. You could see and hear the ocean from the room! The staff was so helpful and friendly and we felt very comfortable. They went above and beyond for us, helping us to iron clothes and book covid test appointments. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The Residencial Fortunato is a very very nice place to stay at! The personal is forthcoming, heartwarming welcoming and thoughtful. The room (we had one of rooms with a balcony which would have view to the sea) was perfect. Roomservice discrete and professional like everyone else in this place. Clear recommendation! I read that there is a new and an old section of this place - I got an (old?) room on the ground floor, first room after the entrance. Door was pretty much made of paper so every resident that walked by or made any sound at night quite literally woke me up - so did the sounds from the street. The breakfast was literary basic, very basic. Don’t have high hopes about this one. If you want cheap:ish accommodation and in a central location this place is a valuable trade off. But bring earplugs. If you’re looking for something nicer - and when coming to Ericeira I highly believe it is for the experience - then look elsewhere.

I found the host to be kind, responsive, a person of integrity. Felt homey and comfortable at all times. Would recommend. I was a single female traveller.
