This is a quirky gem of a place cozy and homely with lots of attention to detail The staff are lovely We had a very nice spotless room with 2 balconies with views across the town to the mountain. Great location in the old town 2 mins to a choice of restaurants We would definitely come again

Very poor breakfast (yesterday's bread, cheap ham&cheese slices, runny yogurt, jam, bad coffee, juice, cheap cereal), air-conditioning for heating didn't work and in general not cozy. Room approximately 10m2 - deceiving from photos. In general nothing to do or see in Covilha, except to go up to Serra de Estrela, which will come at a heavy price of at least 50 EUR to go and come back with a local taxi, unless you have a car of your own

A place to avoid. Very old building with ugly rooms. The bathroom had smelly pipes. Breakfast was so poor. The owner is an apathetic and racist old man.
