Breakfast is decent, plenty of great food options are nearby. Excellent value for money — highly recommended for both tourists and business travelers.

Its biggest strengths lie in its unbeatable location—just minutes from iconic landmarks like Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Gateway of India, and bustling local markets—and its exceptional staff, who consistently go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The rooms are clean, modern, and well-equipped with essentials like air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and a mini-fridge, though some standard rooms can feel a bit compact. The complimentary breakfast is a major highlight, offering a mix of Indian and continental dishes with live counters for dosas and eggs. While the hotel lacks in-house parking and some rooms may face minor noise due to nearby metro construction, the overall value, cleanliness, and hospitality make it an excellent choice for tourists and business travelers alike. For me this hotel was a perfect blend of affordability with little touches of indulgence and genuinely lovely staff. The room was cool, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was high-quality, with both European and Indian-style choices, including delicious cooked-to-order dosa and uttapam. There's a comfortable lounge with green tea, fresh lime and newspapers. Most of all, every person working there was unfailingly gracious and helpful, warm but not pushy. I would particularly like to thank concierge Rajesh for his friendly interest in my welfare and kindness in helping me with my reduced mobility without making me feel awkward. (Just so people reading this know - there is a lift to the rooms, but a single step from street to lobby, and perhaps half a dozen or so up and back down to reach the breakfast room - however I feel sure the staff would bring breakfast to you if these were unmanageable.) If you're the sort of person who usually budgets for more utilitarian places but wants to ease yourself into India gently, you can be confident any extra you spend to stay here buys you genuine comfort and congeniality, not snobbery or ostentation. A good memory.

The location and most of all the staff make this hotel. From the front desk staff to Peter who organises breakfast and more, Grise the cook, Keshar and Balu in the breakfast room, Sabir and Sahir the room boys and of course Rajesh who did so much for us always with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you. We have stayed now three times and will go back again next year. |We stayed in a heritage room 701 which is very spacious but is in need of refurbishment with the carpet and chairs and in the shower where the overhead shower rose does not work. |The bed is very good and it is nice and quiet.

The hotel is very close to the main train station and at a central location. It helps me easily explore the city by foot. There is a variety of shops, restaurants, and museums in this bustling area. |The staff is very friendly and courteous. Breakfast is served from 7-11 am with good quality of both Indian and Western options.||The room is a little small but well-equipped. It’s a pleasant stay here and thank you Peter and all the staff for their dedicated service.

Our Heritage Room was nothing short of spectacular: spacious, luxurious, and incredibly comfortable. While other rooms had minor issues (like slightly small bathrooms or towels that could’ve been fresher), our overall stay was still delightful. The neighborhood itself is a dream! Surrounded by stunning architectural gems, chic boutiques, and vibrant art hubs, it offers perfect access to Colaba and Marine Drive. We stayed in this hotel 15 years ago and this current stay did not disappoint. From the time you arrive the experience is 5:*. From the friendly helpful desk staff to the dining staff. All are incredibly professional, friendly and helpful. The reception area, dining area and rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. Beds and pillows are comfortable, Breakfast is great as is the room service food. The best dosa ever.|Location is super central, walking distance to CST, museum and historical area as well as Gate of India and waterfront.|Initially were only staying 4 nights but extended for extra nights.|Would definitely stay again. While the rooms are simple, the service was outstanding! We arrived at 5:30am and the staff accommodated us well and allowed us to check in so early and even have access to breakfast without paying extra. This really made our experience and was incredibly helpful. Location is great too as it is within walking distance of major sights and the main train station.
