Residential Hotel Hare Shin-Osaka

This place is comfortable. Checking in is a little weird as it is done over an iPad. Place is clean and spacious. Do not be put off by the layout when you walk in. It is about 5 mins walk to shin Osaka station so is super convenient to get to where ever you want to go.

Our family easily walked from the JR Shin-Osaka train station to this small gem. It is like a small rectangle apartment with kitchenette, Japanese bath, washing machine, movie projector, and four bunk beds (room accommodates up to six with two rollaways). ||The staff were accommodating and kind. Check-In/Out is by phone; codes to enter and leave.||Early check-in and luggage storage is not available - but there are luggage storage lockers throughout the train station.||This is a wonderful economical hotel option for families looking for a modern Japanese experience.

A modern hotel just a couple of minutes walk from the East exit of Shin Osaka station. Rooms are bog, we had one with 2 big beds - super comfy. |Rooms have a fridge and couple of rings if you want to eat in. Also a useful washer/drier (liquid soap kindly provided). The WC is superstar from the bath/shower room. Not particularly fancy but great value, very clean, convenient and reasonably priced. No breakfast but a coffee machine in the common room on the ground floor and plenty of food outlets plus a 7/11 and Family Mart convenience stores nearby. Bars and restaurants within an easy walk. We booked a room for our first night in Japan and then came back for a second night later on in our holiday as it was such a good place to stay. |If you have a Japan rail pass you can easily use Shin Osaka as a base to explore not only Osaka, but Kyoto, Kobe etc.

A new, modern and well appointed hotel with friendly staff and service. Our room was more apartment-like than what you'd expect from a hotel which included a stove, microwave and washing machine. It was also relatively large especially for Osaka. We found the bed particularly comfortable. The close proximity to Shin-Osaka Station was convenient. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Hotel is well located only 3-4 min walk from shinosaka station. Room was small but sufficient for our family of 5. Hotel doesn’t really offer anything else asides from the room but still would recommend for large families looking for a single room

Very clean and comfortable place to stay in. The room is very spacious. There's a lounge on the ground floor that you can use to have a cup of coffee or to eat something if you don't wish to do that in your room. The reception does not operate 24 hours, but only from 9am-9pm. However if you are arriving outside that window, the staff will give you instructions on how to get to your room. Located just a short walk away from Shin-Osaka. There's a 24hours convenience store, Family Mart, nearby too

This small hotel was so charming and the rooms was great for our family of four. The kitchen and washer was such a plus. There’s no drier but that shower area acts as a drying area with the heat on. The location is perfect to the station and the Family Mart at the corner was our go to place for drinks and breakfast everyday. The common area with complimentary coffee and tea was great too. We had a few small problems with the washer and air conditioner but was immediately addressed and fixed. Will definitely recommend to friends and family.

It was amazing! It’s a small, cute, clean Japanese Hotel with EVERYTHING in a room. Literally you can live in here. Small kitchen, a small washing machine, and a nice bathroom! The room looks exactly same as the photos. I loved their coffee at the lounge. The hotel staffs speaks English and they were friendly and nice. I enjoyed staying at this hotel. If you get off at the Shin-osaka station, go straight to the east gate. I almost got lost when I got there for the first time. And there are two convenience stores on the way to the hotel which is a plus point to choose this hotel lol.
