Great hotel! The host was very kind! The room was extremely clean and spacious and the location was perfect! We were a close walk to everywhere we needed to be and still far enough away from all that traffic that we could walk around and not feel congested. We were in the valentine suite and we were lucky enough to have a view of 3 different sets of fire works from the terrace on new year’s eve! The view is fantastic even without fireworks and I was able to cross off staying in Venice with a canal view from my bucket list! If we ever came back to Venice we would stay here again! Thank you for a great stay!

This is the second time that I have stayed at this bed and breakfast. In 2018 my husband and I shared the 2 bedroom apartment with another couple. It was such a lovely stay that I contacted Maria Elizabetta when I planned a returned trip in October. On both occasions Maria Elizabetta responded promptly to my inquiry and ,just like the first time, everything was perfect.||I stayed once again in the same apartment but instead of operating as a B&B ,as it had in 2018, it is now an apartment rental. Communications with Maria Elizabetta was easy and she was available for any question or need that arose. The apartment was very clean , spacious and comfortable but the best part was the location which is within walking distance from all the major sights.|Within a day of my arrival at the apartment ,I began to feel like a local resident. Venice has become a very costly city and this accommodation is an economical gem. I would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and I would certainly stay here the next time in Venice.

My son & I had the pleasure of staying in the Sunshine suite apartment which was perfect for us. We only booked for 3 nights but wished we had booked for longer. The apartment is very comfortable, spacious, clean and in a great location with a beautiful view. The host is very accommodating and helpful to make sure you enjoy your stay. Great communication the whole time. Directions on the website were very clear and helped us find our way to the apartment with ease. The host also went out of her way to help me on another matter after we left which I was very grateful for. If I get the chance to return to Venice I would stay here again. 🌹🙏

Five Stars ⭐️ all around. Beautiful rooftop apartment in Venice. We stayed here for 3 nights. Location: A short walk from St Marks Square but close enough to be away from all the crowds and the noise. Maria could not have been more accommodating upon arrival lovely welcome basket with essentials for breakfast and snacking. The apartment was spacious, clean and added benefit of a roof garden to listen to the gondola’s go back and snap up some Venice afternoon sunshine. Would 100% recommend for future stays. Thank you Maria ❤️

Four of us had a delightful 4-night stay at Residenza de l'Osmarin in late April. It looks exactly as pictured on its website with a wonderful view from the terrace. We booked the Valentine Suite and Sunshine Suite. The Valentine Suite was perfect for two of us. I chose to sleep upstairs in the attic room with old beams and a skylight as well as access to the terrace. The main bedroom had plenty of room and closet space for two. There was a small kitchenette in which we made our morning coffee as well as plenty of glassware for our aperitivo. Our other two women had the Sunshine Suite with separate bedrooms and a large common room with large kitchenette where we could all gather to discuss our next day's activities. This suite also has a terrace. All beds were very, very comfortable with plenty of pillow choices. ||The terraces were not used as much as we had hoped because it was rather rainy and cold our first 2 nights. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our views in sunshine the next few evenings.||The location of the Residenza de l'Osmarin is perfect. It is in a quiet neighborhood but very close to St. Mark's and the San Zaccaria Vaporetto stop. It was a great location to escape the crowds. Once we got our bearings, it was very easy to walk back and forth to a variety of different areas. A short walk away were restaurants that felt more local rather than tourist traps. There was a grocery store and wine stores around each corner so it was easy to pick up what we needed for a quick breakfast or appetizers. One of the stores carried Bellini and we enjoyed a few on our terrace, along with limoncello in the evenings. And the bells from St. Marks were special to hear.||There are several long flights of stairs to access the rooms, which was only a problem with luggage transfer up and down. Those with a physical limitation may find it a bit daunting. However, we are all 70 years old (one person recently recovered from a dislocated foot, one with a bad knee and one with MS) and we negotiated it fine. It's the nature of Venice, with its bridges and old buildings without lifts, so be aware (but don't let it stop you).||Maria Elisabetta was just a phone call away if we had any problems. I am truly sorry we missed meeting her but our arrival and departure times prevented us from doing that. Thank you Maria Elisabetta for a delightful stay and fulfilling my dreams of a special stay in Venice!

Absolutely perfect 😊 We loved the location, just a short walk from St. Mark's Square, but away from the crowds. We loved the rooftop terrace where we chilled out watching the gondolas on the canal below. The suite was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Every need was provided. Maria Elisabetta has thought of everything, from beautiful decor and presentation, to the basket of provisions waiting for us on arrival. She let us know that she was only a text away if we needed anything. We have stayed here twice, March 2023, and April 2024, and we are looking forward to returning again. Venice is just beautiful, and our stay at Residenza L'Osmarin made it extra special.

Liked · The host of the accommodation was exceptional and ensured that our stay was perfect from beginning to end. The house, being a family home, had a charming and inviting atmosphere. We stayed in the Artists Room, which was meticulously clean, both the room itself and the attached bathroom. Although the room wasn't particularly spacious, this is quite common in Italy. However, what it lacked in size, it made up for with a stunning view from the window overlooking the canal below. Despite being located in a bustling area, the noise level was surprisingly manageable. The greatest highlight of all was undoubtedly the location, as it provided easy access to anywhere we wanted to go. With the water bus station just a 5-minute walk away and the opportunity to take a gondola ride right from downstairs, convenience was at its finest. Overall, our trip was truly amazing, and if given the chance, I would unquestionably choose to stay here again. Disliked · This is a very minor issue, but it bothered me slightly. The duvet did not have a cover; instead, there was a sheet placed under it. While this arrangement is generally acceptable, it can be problematic if you tend to move a lot during sleep. The sheet can easily come off, leaving the duvet exposed, which is not ideal.

Had a great stay in the Artist’s Room! Maria Elisabetta was very easy to communicate with about booking and arrival. We got to check in early as our plans had changed due to train strikes and she was very accommodating! There were treats left in the room upon check in and recommendations for restaurants etc. location was 10/10 and the room and view was perfect! Looking forward to coming back!
