Residenza D'Epoca 1861

I didn't stay at the hotel but ate at their sidewalk restaurant. It was wonderful. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the view was spectacular.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Quiet, private with great service. Secure parking is available a 5 min walk from the hotel. Incredible sea views and short walk to the beach and local shops. We had an amazing sea side breakfast every morning and our room was cleaned everyday. Highly recommend.

Our one week stay here was extremely pleasant. First, all the staff were all warm, welcoming and helpful. The building itself is elegant, well-appointed and well-kept. We stayed in a suite, which was more spacious than we expected with high ceilings, a sitting room and bedroom that each had a balcony, an airy large bathroom, a small foyer, and even a small bistro table with a couple of chairs. Plenty of storage space with a couple of large armoirs and a dresser. An exceptionally generous and high quality breakfast was served out in front of the building with a view of the sea - truly a wonderful way to start each day. In the evenings, it's a bar where you must have an aperitivo at least once - yummy cocktails that are served with a selection of delicious appetizers - while watching a gorgeous sunset. There is a really nice lido on the beach right next door (literally a 2 minute walk from the hotel's entrance), and plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel without hesitation. The one warning is that there is no elevator, but if you are even slightly fit, you should not have any problems. A friendly staff member will gladly help you with your luggage!

We stayed in one of the suites on the 2nd floor. What a wonderful experience! A beautiful 19th century building with lovely architectural details, the suite had high ceilings, the sitting room and bedroom have balconies facing the sea, the bathroom was spacious and airy. An exceptional breakfast is served in front of the building on the lungomare. The location is fantastic: right on the sea without car traffic in front as is usually the case, and a great lido is just next door (highly recommend Lido Santa Maria). Plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful - with recommendations for restaurants, boat tours, parking, etc. The hotel's bar serves a fantastic aperitivo, i.e. cocktails that come with an assortment of snacks, which were excellent! Perfect place to watch incredible sunsets. Highly recommend this hotel without hesitation! The only warning is that there is no elevator, but if you are able to walk, it shouldn't be a problem. The staff will gladly help you with your luggage.

A very pleasant experience. Staff super-friendly, warm and service-minded. Really liked the atmosfere. Rooms clean. Fantastic view at the sunset over the Mediterranian and on a clear day view of the Amalfi Coast. Breakfast deliceous. Would love to return.

We stayed in a very large and light room on the 3rd floor which had a nice little sunny roof balcony with an excellent sea view. The hotel is in a classy renovated building in maybe the best location in this little pretty town. Very nice and helpful staff and a nice breakfast spot on the boulevard. ||I really recommend the restaurant, which is rated the best restaurant in town on Trip Advisor, which I agree to.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights as my son was being married in the town. Right from the start Theresa responded promptly to my email queries about the area and transport options.||The hotel position is fantastic in the town with beautiful views to the sea. Theresa and her staff could not have been more helpful with any request we had. The woman who served breakfast (sorry I cannot remember her name) was delightfully helpful and pleasant. ||Room 24 was a superior room on the second floor. It was large and well appointed with a four poster bed and all the extras I would expect.||This is a truly terrific place to stay and I hope to visit again some day.||Many thanks to all the staff.||If anyone wants to contact me with any questions, please do so.

I was so excited for my stay at Residenza d epoca. I arrive and horribly disappointed. So many great reviews of the property I thought this is a winner. ||||Beware Giovanni would rather you not stay. I had contact with woman named that seemed very nice but when contacted by Giovanni he was rude. Upon my arrival that behavior continued. He acted as if it was hassle to check me in. What was so terrible he didn’t even show me the room or help me up 3 flights of stairs. When I asked about a bike rental as they advertise once again he was inconvenienced. I am dreading the rest of the stay here. ||||Sad to say stayed in many places in Italy and never met someone so rude by a paying customer. If this room wasn’t prepaid non refundable would leave. Very unhappy with service.
