Our choice of this B&B was based on reviews and information given on their web-pages and Booking.com. Unfortunately some essential information in these sources is wrong; |1. B&B claims that there is parking available. |There is NO parking. The nearest public long term parking is 600 m away. It took 45 min to queue to the parking hall.|As the B&B is located in the pedestrian area I asked specific advice where to park to unload the luggage. No answer. |2. B&B claimed that they offer breakfast at 10 EUR/person/day. We ordered one, but it turned out that there was NO breakfast - only breakfast ingredients in the fridge of the room. We did not want to make any breakfast in the room (messy, no space for eating) and the cost was duly subtracted from the room bill.|3. B&B boasts to be an accommodation of 3 stars. As to the service and quality of the premises and the room it is far from 3 stars - maximum 1 star! The very first impression when you enter the public area of the B&B is a musty smell. Also the room was smelly. The source of the smell in the room was perhaps the kitchen corner, which was not very clean (greasy). The decor of the room was rather worn with some irritating parts like the broken doors of the wardrobes. Fortunately the bath room was refurbished and OK. During the years we have stayed in more than 40 small hotels and B&Bs in Italy. Without a couple of exceptions they have been spotless. I would rate this hotel among one of the three worst.

An incredibly comfortable place with an exceptionally helpful, kind and welcoming host. The rooms are very well equipped and comfortable. The bed gave me the best nights sleep in years. The location simply cannot be better, you're 1 minutes walk from the main piazza but on just enough of a side-street that you're not affected by outside noise. Checking in is a little surreal, luckily, you're sent a lot of mails before arriving at the hotel, each with very well written and clear instructions, in my case I went to floor 1 and was supposed to go to floor 3 - My error and not the fault of the hotel, having said this, a quick call to the hotels emergency number resulted in my error being identified - and resolved, in less than 60 seconds. A genuinely lovely place. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Trieste.

The good: Location was great, self check-in was easy, the room was comfortable with a nice bed, sofa bed, and good bathroom. Everything was also very clean. Breakfast was much-appreciated since it was included for free. The not-so good: We were there in June; it was hot, though thankfully not yet the peak of summer. The AC in our quad room didn't work and the sitting room/lobby was equally stuffy. The thermostat appeared to be set correctly and had power (see pic attached), but no air was blowing and it was very uncomfortable in our room. We wouldn't have been able to sleep in that temp; thankfully they'd provided a fan and the windows actually opened. It was only because the weather cooled off enough in the evening that we were able to get any sleep; however, leaving the windows open meant that we also had to accept light and some street noise coming in.|| When you check in (allowed from 3pm), there is no one working at the hotel desk, so you are unable to contact anyone to report problems. I tried calling the main number and only got voicemail (I left a message, which was not returned). You are given a number to be used only in case of emergency, and this situation wasn't quite that, so I didn't call. Had the window fan not been sufficient, though, we would have either had to call the emergency line or else found a different place to stay for the night. We booked through Expedia, and there also was no way to report a problem to them, either. Everything else about the stay was nice, but if you can't reach anyone at the hotel and you have an issue, it is a real dealbreaker. I wouldn't stay here again in the summer. We'd chosen this place specifically because it claimed to have air conditioning.

A quiet and very well appointed guest house, right in the centre of Trieste. It has a good air-conditioning system to keep the room cool and Andrea the host made us feel like family, rather than guests.

Room is clean and tasteful, albeit small; Location is central, at night it is quiet (i.e. good for sleeping); if you book directly with them, the usage of a (old) Vespa for one day is included which is a good way to explore the surroundings of the city; the breakfast is poor (only the cheapest food from Aldi, nothing fresh (no fruit, no vegetables, only toast (nothing from a bakery)) - would be easy to improve the overall experience through better quality breakfast

Amazing location, and everything you actually need for a short break in Trieste. Kitchen facilities were great for breakfast, room was clean and large, bathroom was excellent.||The parking option they sent us too was also good - Trieste can be a bit overwhelming to drive in and park, so this sorted all of our issues out!

We stayed at Residenza Le 6 over the weekend for one night. It's very easy to find, near the main square. The stuff was outstanding and very helpful. We got very ry good tips how to get around to different places. Thank you

Our experience at Residenza le 6A was perfect. It was definitely a new experience for us. Arriving to the apartment and there was no one to greet us. We followed the simple instructions and easily accessed our room. The room was very clean! The building is very quiet. The room was a nice size. The fresh squeezed juice that was left for us mixed very well with our tequila :) They also left eggs and other items if you wanted to prepare breakfast in the morning. They also prepared fresh pastries for the guest in the morning. || It is centrally located so we were easily able to walk to local restaurants and stores. We only stay one night because we were departing on a cruise the next day. The apartment is close to the pier, so we walked. Overall. it was a nice stay. The only negative I have is we like to sleep in a cool room. We were not able to adjust the air conditioning to our temperature liking. Fortunately, it was not a hot night, and the room was doable.
