The place is an historic family home -they welcome you like you are a cousin! They give you suggestions and help on getting where you want to go. Beautiful roof top terrace with view to die for! I think our room was called the Ines and it overlooked a forum. Full bathroom with shower and towel warmer which was nice at Christmas time since it was cold. Room and bath very clean. We walked a block down and there are restaurants and easy taxi pickup. Also walking distance to the colosseum! Breakfast daily next door that they offer. We plan to come back during warmer times and stay here. Can’t beat the value and kindness of the hosts.

What a wonderful experience. The location is perfect - you can see the Coliseum, Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum from the wonderful roof top terrace. We walked everywhere - even to the Vatican which is about 55 mins on foot but through some great little streets and across the river. Lots of great restaurants, pastry shops, shopping, little places to buy wine and beer for the rooftop cocktails. ||The room was not flashy but perfect. Very Italian with the antique furniture and lamps. The bathroom had been renovated and while the shower was a little small for my very tall husband, the water pressure was great and the towels plush! We faced the inner courtyard, and to be honest, we were a little disappointed at first with the view (although I booked this room!), we found that the room was so quiet at night and we were up on the terrace anyway enjoying the EPIC views! So turned out to be perfect.||HIGHLY recommend this quant boutique guesthouse while in Rome. Great price, a wonderful breakfast included just around the corner, VERY friendly and helpful staff - can not say enough! And the location was great. Thank you for a wonderful stay!||oh, and to the one star review that through the neighbourhood was 'sketchy' - absolutely not. Felt very safe walking around in the evening.

A lovely small, family-run hotel in a great location. The rooftop terrace has incredible views of the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill and Piazza Venezia, making it the perfect place to watch the sunset over Ancient Rome. Comfortable beds and well appointed rooms. Guests also have access to a small kitchen to prepare simple meals. Highly recommended.

I loved this place! No, it's not what some would consider a 5 star hotel but to me it was. I like quaint hotels and this one had a good location too. Old home turned into a hotel. They preserved the frescos! Everyone was friendly and helpful. They helped arrange transportation from the cruise port to the hotel and then to the airport at the end of our stay. We stayed in the Tango room. It was clean and had plenty of room for us 3 adults. Keep in mind this is an old building, plumbing is a bit on the loud side and doors don't work the way new ones do. If you want a place new and contemporary, this is not it. If you want a place full of charm, this is it. Oh and did I mention the view?!

Comfortable room and bed, excellent views of the forum, especially from the roof top. Nice discreet location gives the feel of blending in with the locals which gives the place its charm. Also the location is very conveniently close to most of the major sites here in Rome. Only problem is the noise issue. Be prepared to exercise silence and caution, especially during the late hours. Considering the location is within an old building, be conscious on where to step and how much noise you make. If for whatever reason this does not make you comfortable dear reader, then I would not recommend this place. Otherwise, everything else was good and for those who don’t mind the noise issues and moving around with extra caution, then I would definitely recommend this place. Also special thanks to the owner of this location, Gian Luca, for giving us a warm welcome and taking the time to acquaint us with the location and the city as a whole.

We absolutely loved staying here. It was perfectly located. The rooms were beautiful. The view from the balcony was priceless. The service was incredible. Our family will be staying here again the next time we are in Rome and highly recommend it.

This property was absolutely beautiful, with a stunning rooftop perfect for watching sunsets. Its location couldn’t have been better—just steps from the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and endless shopping. Best of all, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
