Residenza Zanardelli

Nice boutique hotel centrally located to all of Rome — Vatican, the major central historical sites, Trastevere, Borghese Gardens. There is a bus station right outside the hotel which makes transport so convenient. Grocery stores and plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was well equipped and Dave was very helpful. Quiet and clean. Cons: it was hot and the AC was weak, but they brought a fan on request which helped. We were out of handsoap in the bathroom as well.

Location was excellent 👌🏽 Staff were polite 👍🏽 Good for larger families 👍🏽 Good WiFi Noisy at night from the street and other rooms! But it’s Acceptable to an extent. Good bathroom … but The hand wash soap 🧼 did not smell good at all it had a bad smell maybe they need to change the brand they are using!

We stayed here for 3 nights. It was myself, my wife, and my teenage daughter. The hotel was able to schedule airport transportation for us to the hotel. Upon arrival to the airport, the customs line was crazy long and delayed us for 1.5 hours. However, our transportation patiently waited for us. When we got to the hotel, David was outside waiting for us and helped carry our luggage to our rooms. He was super friendly and very helpful. The rooms were a good size for us 3, we had a double bed with a single bed. There was no noise at all. The A/C kept our room cool, and the showers had different jet settings we could use. The location was perfect, as everything was within walking distance. Vatican and colleseum were about 20-30 mins away. Right out front is also a bus line and a tabacchi shop (for buying bus tickets). We did use the bus line for returning from the vatican. When we checked out, David was able to arrange our taxi for us to the train station and also carried our luggage to the taxi. I'm definitely coming back to this place!

We LOVED our stay at Residenza Zanardelli! The rooms were great, the location was perfect, and the staff was super helpful and friendly. The rooms were super clean and the beds were cozy which felt nice after a long day of exploring. Not only that but the showers were AMAZING! We loved and appreciated all of the features. We were located in walking distance to everything which was perfect! When we first arrive the guy at the front desk was kind enough to give us a map and tell us how to get everywhere which was super helpful! It felt nice being taken care of. We also did their care service to the airport which we highly recommend! We’d definitely stay again!

Not sure why only 3 stars but personally I absolutely love this hotel. The room was super nice and clean, the location was perfect! So close to everything. This is where you want to be in Rome. It was our first time and it made it so easy to walk to all the major sites. So many restaurants to choose from as well: the front desk attendant was super friendly and helpful, spoke English, and I was able to communicate with them on what’s app. All in all, it was a win.

This was the last hotel I stayed at in Italy on a solo trip. I do regret not booking this hotel for the first leg of my trip when I started in Rome. The neighbourhood is lovely with lots to do. I felt safe on my own at night as a woman on my own. It’s close to most major attractions and is centrally located. The building is beautiful and secure. The hotel made sure to connect with me on what’s app hours before check in to make sure someone was there to let me in. The rooms were so clean and they had items in the room that were a nice touch, such as nail files and toothbrushes etc. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. The air conditioning was great and kept the room cold. Wonderful shower! Great value and if I ever return to Rome this is where I will stay!

From checking in to checking out, this hotel met all our expectations and so much more. Our room was very clean and cozy with superb service and assistance from both Anna Marie and the gentleman who was responsible for cleaning the rooms. Anna Marie went out of her way to assist us wth local recommendations and helping us book our future train tickets while traveling through Europe. The first night we arrived we were invited to a greetings happy hour which allowed us to unwind and start our vacation with some wine and snacks, all complimentary. The hotel offered to hold our bags the date of check out so we could get the most out of our time in Rome without being hassled with luggage. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling through Rome; it was our favorite place we stayed while traveling through Italy.
