Stayed here with family for a very short 2 night stay whilst my husband was competing in Bordeaux as it was the closest hotel to the arena - did not check the reviews or images - just booked purely off location - bigggg mistake. ||If alls you care about is having somewhere to sleep and have a shower, then it’s great. ||CONS:|- It’s very, very tired, it needs a good refurb|- They charge you an extra €100+ on arrival incase you ‘set the kitchen on fire’ |- Isn’t walking distance to the main Bordeaux centre, so a lot was spent on Ubers|- I reiterate, the rooms are very, very basic and in need of a lot of TLC.|- TV is tiny and no Netflix / English Channels - so for us, did not bother to use. |- In our room, the toilet flush panel fell off.|- Seen some comments before and yes it does resemble a prison|- Very, very noisy - especially at night from rooms above and the walls are PAPER thin, you can hear talking all day and night long|||PROS:|- Comfy bed|- Hot shower|- Kitchen facilities |- Heating was really powerful as it was freezing whilst we were in Bordeaux|- Breakfast looked okay but we didn’t have any here we ate out||Would I stay here again? Personally … not if you paid me. There are plenty of other places and Bordeaux is a huge city full of beautiful places.

A very good value hotel in a convenient location for public transport - 2 minutes walk from the C tramline which has trams every 8 minutes, and it takes about 8 minutes to get to the centre. We arrived before the check in time and the staff were very helpful explaining the policies and also giving us great advice about places to visit in Bordeaux and how to get to them. We were also able to store our bags in a secure room. Our room was very clean and quiet. Previous reviewers have complained about not getting the deposit back in full, but the conditions are clearly laid out on a notice board, and were explained to us. We had no issues with our deposit by adhering to the rules.

It was an “ok” place to stay. At first some things were broken but then they fixed them. The toilet had a very big stain and the flush wasn’t strong at all, so there was some bad smell. My apartment was very small without a place to eat or a living room, just a normal hotel room with a super tiny kitchen. The rule of the kitchen is that they don’t clean it, the clients should do that themselves or pay a fee if dont. That’s not good at all, because it’s not hygienic. A lot of dishes had stains and so on because there’s no washing machine so the hotel should clean it… the view from the room is very ugly and the outside corridor between rooms is also. There’s no offer of water or anything else. However, the bed was comfortable enough and there are many appliances in the kitchen that we can use, such as microwave… however no oven..

The hotel only allows late check in and surcharges you 25 euro which is fine if the room is ok. It isn’t. Hotel is tired, scuffed and basic. The room had a lovely smelly drain smell that reminded me of one of the sulphur levels of Dante’s hell. It was hot and air con did not work. Ok fair enough open the window which is limited with the curtain to then experience the Birdman of Alcatraz, the smell of pigeon S*it hits the. Nostrils taking you to the 2nd level of Dante’s Hell. Only positive given it’s so hideous is that it’s quiet. Avoid

Good service, the staff was friendly although some members of the service team lacked English skills which you would expect in a hotel. Nevertheless, I felt cared for adequately. I really appreciated that we were upgraded from a simple room to an apartment for free on the day we checked in. Of course, the hotel lacked some luxury, but since it was a three star hotel for a good price, I did not mind. Regarding the breakfast menue I have to say that the variety was kind of poor. We expected more types of eggs, vegetables (of which there were none) as well as fresh! Croissants and chocolatines. Coffee was very good.||

My first visit to the city of Bordeaux, on a good trip accommodation is essential and key to enjoy your experience to the fullest. However, in this hotel from our arrival until our departure nothing went as we expected. Old and dilapidated rooms, inefficient service by the hotel staff and especially the responsible manager who did not attend to any of our requests and also maintained an improper authority of customer service. Really for the price paid I think there are much better accommodations and it suits the needs of the traveler. I don't recommend it.

Wonderful stay! The hotel is really nice and in a great location only about 8 minutes from downtown by tram. The staff were extremely friendly and professional, even when some guests in front of us weren’t as kind during check-in. A special thanks to Anaïs at the reception, who was very attentive and professional throughout our stay. I would definitely come back to this hotel!

Bad experience. They charged me €25 for leaving clean dishes on top of the kitchen counter just because I didn't store them in the cupboard, which I didn't do because they were wet still. The location of the hotel is bad, the area is dead at night and dangerous. The beds were not done properly and the sizes of the sheets didn't even fit so it was a mess. The shower drain was stuck and overflowing so the shower area filled with water immediately, making the bathroom a mess. Even when I left the room in pristine conditions, they still have the courage to charge 25 euros only for leaving CLEAN dishes on top of the kitchen. Avoid this place.

Yelp
I stayed here for two nights during my stay in Bordeaux along with my tour group. The hotel was nice and clean but basic. The bathrooms were decently sized and we were able to comfortably do some clothing washing. My room was a double and it was a bit challenging to move with our two suitcases. The breakfast we were given did not look as nice as the one that was provided to the rest of the hotel guests. We were allocated in a different area and the breakfast was subpar. The hotel is located in a more industrial side of town, there didn't seem to be anything going on nearby. However, the hotel is pretty close to one of the tram lines that lead you straight into the center of the city. That was probably one of the only good things about this hotel.
